About: Hi! My name is Jessie and I'm currently looking for a side gig this summer. I grew up with 2 little yorkies and spent countless hours volunteering, so I've always had a big love for dogs. With Rover, I am hoping to spend some time meeting new dogs and giving them walks and lots of cuddles. I am great at taking care of pups and making sure they are happy, loved, and are having the best time of their life! I will make sure I am always giving your dog best friend my full attention. "Wow, he/she doesn't usually like men!" is something I've heard a lot from people when I meet their dog. It takes patience to learn a dog's communication style, but when they feel understood they do everything they can to express themselves. When they feel comfortable with my ability to successfully communicate they trust me. I've dog sat for friends, but this time in my life I can do more. I'm mostly finished with professional career life. I'm writing the great American novel instead now. I walk my dogs twice a day and go on hikes on weekends where they're allowed. About: My love for animals has stayed constant throughout my life. I am currently a receptionist at a veterinary hospital. I would love to continue my education in the veterinary field. I have always especially loved dogs and never been without a dog in my home. I have a 1 year old bichon-shih tzu mix, Lulu, who is full of energy and loves to play. Depending on the pup I'm housing or if I'm house sitting, Lulu can either stay in my home, as she loves other dogs or I can take her to my friend's house for dogs who would prefer to be the only dog in a home. I will give your pup all the love, patience, and play time they need to be happy and I will look after your beloved pet just like my own!

About: I have always worked with animals ever since I was little. I grew up around a farm and took care of various small pets. I also have experience cat sitting and dog sitting from some friends. I have my own elderly dog who needs accommodations, so I’m ready for any task needed! I go to college mostly online, but I do have a class or two in person some days. I’m able to drop in whenever because I’ll be very much free. I can give your pet some comfort and take care of them while you’re gone! I love to go on walks and play with any furry friend!

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, from the day I was born to now! I volunteered at an animal shelter for a year too! I love animals and I love working with them, and hopefully that will become my future career♥️ I take care of my dogs daily and I walk them everyday. I am currently a full time student at a college, so for the summer I will be available every day. But starting late August, I will be starting my 3rd semester so I will be only available on the weekend’s! I wash my dogs, I take them on long walks, I feed them, and they love to cuddle. They are now senior dogs, so they sleep more often, but they are given the love and care that they need!😊

About: I am a private chef in the Hamptons, but I sit dogs consistently- especially during the culinary off-season. Out of my entire clientele, the dogs tend to be my favorite! I enjoy energetic dogs, puppies, etc. but am willing to take care of older, docile dogs too. When doing a sit I stay in touch with the client as much as desired, and text tons of photos & videos of their happy pups. I own two dogs, Nellie and Charlie, who are both very energetic, love to play-fight, and run. They are perfect to play with, and help a dog who needs to learn how to socialize. We play on the beach several times a week for a nice workout. (If you would prefer not socializing my family members can stay with them during our booking.) *Nellie: 10 year old, Chocolate Lab/German Pointer mix. Nellie can be a little stand-offish or avoid a dog, but can easily warm up with a little time Charlie: 9 year old Mini Schnauzer/Terrier Mix. Charlie loves about all dogs and humans, and doesn’t need any time to be ready to have fun My whole day can work for a dog's care. As a freelancer I am very flexible; of course the earlier we book the better to secure my availability. Pets in my home are a case by case basis. Although I offer daycare, I have two dogs and a small home. It would depend how our dogs get along. At a clients home, I use the info/instructions given to me by their owner and provide the best care possible. I will always be there. The level of care is always five stars. i adapt to yours / your dogs schedule. I am there to make your dog happy and you rest assured Fun time all the time with active dogs; caring and gentle with elder/special dogs. My work schedule varies but my wife can fill in when necessary.

About: Loving pet parents who will take special care of your pets, as if they were their own. Daily walks on the beach outside will give your pet a special feeling of freedom. My wife and I have grown up with animals and are willing to board all different types. We have a male and female Bernese Mountain dog and a female Newfoundland. We also have a female domestic long haired car and 1 rabbit. We have a 4 bedroom home where your pets will have extra space, close to an acre of property that is completely fenced in. Right outside our backyard is the bay with a private beach where we like to go for daily walks, we are sure your dogs would love the bay breeze as well. Thanks for learning about us. They will have free range in our home. We treat all our guests like our own.

“Wow. We hired Christina to care for our 135lb Bernese Mountain Dog, Otis, while we vacationed in Westhampton for a week. And what a godsend to have found her! Amazing with Otis, incredibly flexible in terms of hours and availability, and just such a wonderful, genuinely caring sitter and person. Otis is just a year old, never been apart from us, and so it was critical that he feel comfortable and be well cared for while we took time away for daily lunches and dinners. Each day, when Christina arrived, Otis went nuts. It was just so clear how much he liked her and looked forward to his time with her. And, of course, she sent regular updates, including photos, so we were always in the loop and reassured about how he was doing. Our whole family, including both our kids, were sad for the vacation to end, in part because it meant not seeing Christina again! Really can't believe how fortunate we were to have connected with and hired her on Rover and, if we ever make our way back to Westhampton and need care for Otis, we'll definitely be hitting her up.
