“Jordan is amazing with pets! She has helped me take care of the two dogs I have had - a mild-tempered husky and a dog-averse german shepherd and doberman mix. My experiences with her are primarily with my german shepherd mix. She has taken care of her (GSD mix) in her younger years helping me walk her and house sitting for me while I was away. She was able to successfully walk my GSD mix who would react and bark and jump at any passing dogs. At 90 lbs, watching my GSD mix was not a task I trusted with anyone and I felt completely at ease when Jordan was watching and walking her and trusted her 100%. In her later years, my GSD mix suffered a stroke in her back leg that caused her to have serious mobility issues. Jordan helped me in walking her using a help me up harness (which again at 90lbs this is no easy task). She was consistent with letting my dog out on a regular basis as she aged and needed to be let out more often. My GSD mix was still reactive to dogs to her very last day and Jordan was able to help me avoid other dogs and control her when we would see dogs on our walks. She also had different exercises we did to help regain strength in her back legs that Jordan helped me with and maintained this on a regular basis. During this time my partner had to leave for work for an extended period and Jordan stayed with me for the entirety that he was gone and helped me take care of her, walk her, feed her, etc etc.”

About: I've been lucky to have some of the best dogs in the world in my life. Eric was a mixed shepherd and boarder collie. Karma was a pure bread standard poodle. They were both perfectly trained, great company and listened better than my children. I miss them terribly but both lived full lives. We lost Karma 4 years ago at age 16, My heart still aches. I am semi retired and have a very flexible schedule. My wife is an artist and I am a writer and retirement consultant which provides us both with the flexibility we need to live a full life . I have a fenced yard, and seldom leave a dog alone outside. Living on a quiet residential street provides a great low-traffic walking route. We are only 3 miles from the beach if the owner would like to give their pet the treat of sand and salt air.

About: I've been taking care of animals more than 10 years. I've taken a little bit of a break, but I am now back! I love animals and truly enjoy looking after them. I love connecting with them and getting to know them and their personalities. Once you learn their likes, and dislikes their little personalities I believe is what makes them so special. About: I created this account while looking for a drop in caretaker for my own pup. Since, I have started working from home and changed my account to become a sitter. I have loved being able to help someone else in need of the same services I was seeking and provide a trustworthy caretaker for their pup. It has been such a pleasure meeting & spending time with all the pups who have since stayed at my house. I know how important it is to make sure your dog is well taken care of during the times you're not able to be there for them. Being I work from home, my availability is super flexible. I would love to offer services to anyone who needs daytime/evening care or even an overnight stay for their dogs. I hope I am able to offer peace of mind to anyone else who was just like me and wondering how they would provide care for their dog when not home. I work from home so I have availability pretty much anytime during the day to help anyone local! I am also available evenings and weekends. And if you bring your pup over for Daycare or an Overnight Stay they will have company all day long :) I have a fully fenced in, locked at every access point, camered yard - you could say I'm a little obsessed with making sure my pup is always safe. I also live in a quiet neighborhood away from Main St. on a private road with lots of little beaches & bridges nearby for the perfect walk. I have a dog friendly pup to keep your dog company. However, if your dog is not dog friendly, I am also experienced in as I call it "musical dog shuffle" to ensure proper safety for both pups.

About: Currently one of the most important things in my life is my 110 pound Rottweiler named Stella. I’ve had life and job experiences with dogs most of my life. Especially with big breeds. When I was 15 My first job was at Kennels. This kennel specialized in the care and adoption of big breeds. Over my life I’ve come to understand the importance of and active, healthy and positive lifestyle for a pet. I’m currently a full-time student enrolled at Suffolk County community college. this does not interfere with any of my personal and professional pet care. I have lots of availability to dedicate to mine and your pet. I love the outdoors. whenever I enjoy outdoors, my pet is always by my side. I understand how certain breeds act. Some breeds are more outgoing/curious about there environment. So I keep that in mind when out and about on walks, potty breaks, and adventures.
