“Kristi was great! I was in town for my wedding and she came and picked the dogs up after our ceremony. I really appreciated her coming to get them and everything went so smoothly. Thank you!”

“Claudia watched Junior while I was on a vacation overseas. He got along so well with her and her fur baby that I had no concerns while I was away. She sent tons of pics letting me know he was having a good time. Lastly, I had some issues that affected my pick up time & she was very understanding of the situation. Highly recommend & I would book future stays with Claudia.”

“Angel was great to work with. She made our dog feel right at home. Angel gives you an update daily on how your pet is doing and includes pictures!! Would highly recommend her to anyone!!”

“Emily was fantastic with our dogs! She was so organized, kept us updated on the boys, and her set up for them was phenomenal. It gave us such peace of mind that they were safe, well cared for, and happy. I did not have a single worry when they were with her and I will absolutely be booking with her again. Thanks Emily!”

About: I provide dependable, attentive, and structured care for dogs in a clean, safe, and calm home environment. I have hands-on experience caring for a wide range of dogs with different temperaments, energy levels, and needs—from high-energy breeds to more relaxed companions. I previously helped manage a "Star-Sitter boarding setup on another account, where I was directly involved in daily care, feeding routines, exercise, and maintaining a stress-free environment for every dog. Now that I’m continuing on my own, I’m committed to delivering that same level of quality care and consistency. What sets me apart is attention to detail and reliability. I understand how important routine, supervision, and communication are when it comes to your pet. I specialize in elderly pets and puppies as there have been many neighbors that need medication on a regular basis. I will certainly provide your family member with the proper schedule for their needs. Dogs in my care receive: Consistent feeding and exercise schedules Clean, well-maintained spaces with private areas if requested Close supervision and safe handling Photo updates so you know your dog is doing well I treat every dog like they’re my own—with patience, structure, and respect for their individual needs. If you’re looking for someone responsible, experienced, and straightforward who will take care of your dog the right way, I’d be a great fit. Conveniently located off E. National Rd. (Highway 40) Dogs in my care follow a structured but relaxed routine that keeps them comfortable, active, and stress-free. Mornings start with potty breaks, fresh water, and feeding based on your dog’s normal schedule. After that, I provide light exercise or playtime depending on their energy level—whether that’s a walk, supervised yard time, or indoor engagement. Throughout the day, I’m home and available, so your dog isn’t left alone for long periods. I keep a close eye on behavior, comfort, and safety while giving them attention, interaction, and rest as needed. I adjust the pace of the day to fit each dog—some need more activity, others prefer a calm environment. Midday includes additional potty breaks, playtime, or relaxation depending on the dog’s routine. I maintain consistency with feeding schedules, water, and any special instructions you provide. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and those that require medication, and I’m comfortable following specific care routines to make sure they stay healthy and comfortable. Evenings include another round of activity or relaxation, feeding if needed, and a calm wind-down before bedtime. Overall, my goal is to provide a safe, structured, and attentive environment where your dog feels comfortable and well cared for—just like they would at home. I’m home throughout the day, so dogs are rarely left alone and always supervised. I follow each dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, and any special instructions. Whether your dog is high-energy or more laid back, I adjust the environment to fit their needs. I also have a well-behaved mini Australian Shepherd who acts as a friendly companion for social dogs. He’s great at reading other dogs and helps create a balanced, comfortable environment—but I always introduce dogs properly and keep safety as the top priority; we will introduce them during the meet & great prior to the stay. For dogs that need extra care, I have experience with senior pets and administering medication, and I’m comfortable following detailed care plans to make sure they stay healthy and comfortable.

About: I have a flexible schedule making me able to offer these services. Please don't hesitate to reach out if my schedule on here doesn't have your time needed as my schedule changes constantly so does my availability. I currently drive to let my parents dog out twice a week for a walk, play etc. I have two cats at home that I love dearly. I tend to put them in the back of the house if I am watching a dog. Love animals and hate to see them locked up and bored all day while their owners are at work. Here to enhance their quality of life! I'm work part time so I'm pretty flexible, willing to work together to figure out the best schedule for everyone involved. Looking forward meeting your fur babies! Depending on the service it differs. My pets at home are two cats so I make sure they have fresh food and water in the mornings and the evenings, make sure to play with them and keep their litter box/areas clean. I would do more with dogs since they are a little more high maintenance. My boyfriend has a dog that comes over and plays in our big back yard. Lots of care and attention will be given to your pet!

About: I have had pets, mainly dogs, my entire life and I have a true love for animals. I have been pet sitting for friends and family for over 6 years. I have recently joined the Rover community and I am excited for this new experience! I do work a part-time job so my availability often differs by the day but I still have plenty of time for pet care! The earlier I am requested and care is planned out, the better I will be able to adjust my schedule to your needs! I have plenty of experience caring for pets, majority dogs, in their own home and my goal is always to make them feel comfortable in their space! My availability for caring for pets in my home is more limited but I do have a fenced yard and two dogs(one small and one medium) that are both friendly with other dogs and able to be crated if necessary!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Quincy home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Quincy.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Quincy sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
