“Kristi was wonderful! Charlie felt comfortable there and took to her immediately. She really made an effort to make sure we felt comfortable since this was Charlie’s first time away from us in 4 years. She was very flexible and attentive to her needs and we received updates and pics daily. She has about 3 acres that are fenced in that Charlie was able to run around in under her supervision and she was very attentive to charlie’s needs. We may schedule our trips around her availibility in the future. I highly recommend her for any pet boarding! Thank you so much Kristi! It meant the world to us that you took such great care of our fur baby! Melanie and Robert Connell”

“Very friendly and accommodating. Great care given to my spoiled and separation anxiety dog. They refused to give up on her! I offered multiple times to come get her but they dealt with her spoiled behavior and anxiety from being away from me. I never knew this was an issue! We are going to attend training (mostly for me) as I learn how to not let her be with me all of the time. These people are saints and I would definitely book again with them, but only after wete trainedbetter to be fair to sitters! Thank you both! You deserve an award for the great care you gave my spoiled girl!”

“Hi! My German Shepherd is very much a one woman dog. She doesn't like men very much most of the time. This is her 2nd visit to Bill and his wife. When we pulled up she jumped out and ran to the door. So excited to be there!! She doesn't even do this when I take her to my Brother's house. Thanks Bill!”

“If you're looking for someone to take care of your special member of the family and want to truly enjoy time away without worrying, I highly recommend Lydia. This was my second time I had ever left Charlie with someone I didn't know well, I was a little nervous. However, from the moment I met Lydra, I immediately felt comfortable and confident that Charlie was in good hands. Lydia took special care of him and was incredibly attentive and responsive throughout his stay. She kept me updated every day with messages and pictures, which gave me a great sense of peace and allowed me to enjoy my time away know Charlie was safe, happy, and well cared for. Therefore, if you are looking for someone you can trust to care for your furry family member, I would definitely choose Lydia. Charlie was well taken care of, and I will absolutely use her again! Marilyn”

“Tami was amazing!! Both of boys were so happy. I highly suggest booking with her. She made us feel comfortable and the communication was great. Thank you so much Tami.”
“This was a super awesome experience for Bandit! It was his first time staying over, so I was a little nervous prior to booking. Kayla made it super easy and allowed a meet and greet ahead of time to be sure Bandit was comfortable. Kayla provided excellent communication and made Bandit feel comfortable & safe (as well as dad) prior to his stay. Her experience and dedication to the love of all animals really shows and I couldn't expect better. We will definitely be booking again. Thank you Kayla and family!”

“Claudia watched Junior while I was on a vacation overseas. He got along so well with her and her fur baby that I had no concerns while I was away. She sent tons of pics letting me know he was having a good time. Lastly, I had some issues that affected my pick up time & she was very understanding of the situation. Highly recommend & I would book future stays with Claudia.”

“Jeanie was great! Two senior dogs, both with their own needs and she took care of them as her own. Updated with pics every day with good communication. Thank You Jeanie”
About: I have a degree in veterinary technology and used to work in clinics and veterinary ER. I personally have three dogs, three guinea pigs a bearded dragon and am fostering a kitten. I take the care of animals to heart and cater my approach to each of their personalities. I can perform CPR if needed and am able to administer medications and help with any specialized needs. I’ve worked with dogs and cats of all ages and can meet their needs. I also can manage exotic animals. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask! I work from home so my schedule is flexible. I keep my dogs on somewhat of a routine as I have semi high energy breeds. Though we do lounge around at home when they’re feeling lazy. I treat all animals with the highest level of care whether it is my own pet or someone else’s. I have my eyes on the pets at all times both inside and outside of the home. I worked in the veterinary field through college and retired in 2024. All that knowledge stays with me and I continue to stay up to date on animal care. You will get regular photo updates of your babies during my drop in’s and/or boarding.

“Nate and Whitney were one of the greatest first experiences to have using the rover app they took such good care of us and constantly gave us updates as to anything that was going on. They will definitely be my first choice the next time I use the service 10 out of 10.”

“Amber was awesome! She did a wonderful job taking care of our 8 & 11 year old GSPs. We loved that she only takes one booking at a time so she could help deal with some separation anxiety and give special attention when required. The dogs were well taken care of and got plenty of exercise. Highly recommend!”

“Amazing dog sitter! I boarded my dog with her for a day and a night and she was great. Aubrey kept me updated on my pup and she seemed to take very well to her. Will definitely use again and recommend to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

“Audrey was fantastic! We immediately felt at ease with her and knew our dogs would be happy and safe in her care. She sent picture updates and our dogs had a wonderful time with her! Will definitely book again! Thanks so much Audrey!”

“This was our first time using a Pet Sitter and we will NEVER go back to a kennel for boarding. Michelle was so easy to work with and Bailey seemed to thoroughly enjoy the time that she spent with her and her family. So much so, that she moped for almost 2 days and hardly ate (I think she missed the playmates). Michelle sent text messages with pictures and promptly replied when I messaged to ask how Bailey was doing. We will definitely be utilzing Michelle's services again. Thank you.”

About: We have a 9 year old mixed breed and a 4 year old mixed breed. I have cared for many family members' and friends' animals. Skilled in training, grooming, and loving all breeds and sizes of dog! I am able to work from home during the day. My schedule is very flexible, and I am open to all schedules at this time. We own our home with a partially fenced yard and a dog line. My husband is also a dog-lover, and we are both very active with animals. Our dogs are very friendly with others, and they love to play and cuddle with friends.
About: We've enjoyed 4 dogs and 3 cats during our marriage. Our current dog is a 2-year-old mutt who LOVES to play with other pups, and our cat. She came from an abusive home, and it took several months to help her feel safe. If you have a shy/scared dog, we are understanding and patient. I work from home, so I am available at all times. I prefer to take walks in the mornings when it's warmer, and in the afternoon or evening when it's cooler. I like to let the pups play together as much as possible, but I do like to give one-on-one time with each pup a few times each day. Gates are set up to keep pups in a safe area where I can see them at all times. We mostly allow them to play together or with toys we provide. I take each pup outside at regular intervals, as provided by their parent, to relieve themselves.

Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Lena.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
