“Kristi and her husband were wonderful! They treated our puppy like one of their family. She answered our questions and made us feel at ease. We will be booking again when the need arises.”

“Ashlee greeted our dog first at a “meet and greet” at a local park and our pup was calm and comfortable. During our trip, Ashlee updated us on how her first 24 hours went and how she enjoyed playing with the other dogs. On our way back, approaching the Dayton area, she was kind enough to give Pippa a bath. Ashley’s provided kind, observant care to our young dog while we saw family out of state and we couldn’t be more pleased.”

“This was my very first time boarding my 11-year-old Shih Tzu, Biscuit. I originally booked only 2 nights with Kristi but ended up extending for another night because my plans were disrupted by traffic and an accident on the way back from Chicago to Ohio. Kristi is very accommodating, and I can honestly say that her whole family took excellent care of Biscuit. She constantly kept me updated with texts, photos, and videos of Biscuit, which made me feel very at ease. Thank you so much, Kristi! I will definitely contact you again to board Biscuit with you!”

“Very happy with Summer's stay. Claudia provided updates and lots of pictures. I could tell Summer had plenty of attention, cuddles, and play time. Summer's bag was packed and ready when we arrived to a happy dog.”

“Lydia is absolutely amazing! Her home is clean, welcoming and was ready to board our dog overnight. We really appreciate her and our dog returned home happy! We will be using Lydia from now on.”

“Smith had such a great time with Kris and Baloo! He was treated like part of their family and so well taken care of. He had so much fun playing and relaxing and generally being spoiled, and I got so many great pictures of their time together. I can’t imagine letting him stay with anybody else!”

About: I have a degree in veterinary technology and used to work in clinics and veterinary ER. I personally have three dogs, three guinea pigs a bearded dragon and am fostering a kitten. I take the care of animals to heart and cater my approach to each of their personalities. I can perform CPR if needed and am able to administer medications and help with any specialized needs. I’ve worked with dogs and cats of all ages and can meet their needs. I also can manage exotic animals. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask! I work from home so my schedule is flexible. I keep my dogs on somewhat of a routine as I have semi high energy breeds. Though we do lounge around at home when they’re feeling lazy. I treat all animals with the highest level of care whether it is my own pet or someone else’s. I have my eyes on the pets at all times both inside and outside of the home. I worked in the veterinary field through college and retired in 2024. All that knowledge stays with me and I continue to stay up to date on animal care. You will get regular photo updates of your babies during my drop in’s and/or boarding.
“Kathy took amazing care of my dog while I was away, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was dependable, kind, and clearly loves animals. I received updates and photos that gave me so much peace of mind, and when I came home, my dog was happy, relaxed, and well cared for. It’s such a relief knowing I have someone I can completely trust with my pet. I highly recommend Kathy to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and attentive dog sitter. Thank you for treating my dog like family!”

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my strong experience working with dogs and puppies of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels. I’ve been caring for animals since I was young, starting with pets belonging to family and friends, which helped me build a solid foundation of hands-on experience with dogs in everyday home environments. I’m especially comfortable with puppies and understand the patience and consistency they need while learning routines like potty training, crate training, leash walking, and basic commands. I also enjoy helping reinforce positive behaviors through structure, repetition, and lots of encouragement. For adult dogs, I adapt easily to their personality—whether they are high-energy and need plenty of exercise or more relaxed and prefer a calm routine. I also have experience with senior dogs who may need a slower pace, medication reminders, and extra attention to comfort and mobility. I pay close attention to each dog’s individual needs, including feeding schedules, exercise requirements, and behavioral cues, so they feel secure and understood while in my care. My goal is always to create a safe, trusting environment where dogs feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for. I also provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you always know how your pet is doing while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, especially with my availability in the afternoons and evenings. Since I work part time, I have ample time during the day to give pets the attention, exercise, and care they need. I enjoy spending my evenings going on walks, which would make it easy and consistent for me to provide daily exercise and outdoor time. I also look forward to using my free time for play, feeding, and bonding activities that help build trust and comfort with pets. In my home or a client’s home, I provide pet care with consistency, attentiveness, and respect for the animal’s routine and comfort level. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, portion sizes, medication instructions if needed, and any specific preferences the owner provides. I make sure pets always have fresh water, regular meals, and a clean, safe environment. I prioritize daily exercise and enrichment through walks, playtime, and interaction suited to the pet’s age, energy level, and personality. I also focus on building trust through calm, patient handling and positive attention. In a client’s home, I am mindful of maintaining the space exactly as instructed, keeping things clean and secure, and making sure the pet feels comfortable in their familiar environment. I understand the importance of routine, so I do my best to keep things as normal and stress-free as possible for the pet while their owner is away. Overall, my approach is to care for each pet as if they were my own—providing reliable, loving, and responsible care tailored to their individual needs
“Emily was fantastic with our dogs! She was so organized, kept us updated on the boys, and her set up for them was phenomenal. It gave us such peace of mind that they were safe, well cared for, and happy. I did not have a single worry when they were with her and I will absolutely be booking with her again. Thanks Emily!”

“Elya was an excellent sitter for Max, my 90-pound Great Pyrenees Labrador mix. She welcomed him into her home and treated him like one of the family. She carefully followed his feeding instructions and paid close attention to all the details of his care. I have no doubt that Max is looking forward to visiting her family again. I highly recommend her.”

“Audrey was fantastic! We immediately felt at ease with her and knew our dogs would be happy and safe in her care. She sent picture updates and our dogs had a wonderful time with her! Will definitely book again! Thanks so much Audrey!”
“I recently retired from the military and moved to Ohio. I still have to do some traveling and needed to find a dog sitter. My girls have never been boarded and have been with anyone other than family so I was extremely nervous. Danielle amd her family were so amazing. The girls were absolutely in heaven with her and her family. She sent me photos and updates. My two babies fit right in and I absolutely loved how much her daughters loved on my girls. I will forever reach out to her again for dog sitting. It is so refreshing having a family love my babies as much as I do! Thank you so much!!!”

“Sierra was scheduled to sit our two pups while we were out of town for 5 days. Unfortunately, our eldest Dozer, had a mast cell tumor that needed to be removed immediately a few days before our departure. Sierra was extra careful with him and even took him into the vet when his incision became infected. She sent pictures a few times a day and was extremely responsive. She is byfar the best sitter we've found on Rover and would highly recommend her to watch your pups. She will take care of them as if they are her own.”
“Gracie is the best sitter we could possibly ask for. She was willing to come let Nelly hang out when we went in for an unexpected induction. She was beyond accommodating and made it so much less stressful to bring our new little one into the world.”
