“Nicole was amazing! She was so responsive and updated me every day, multiple times on my pup! She sent me pictures and videos (as requested) and he LOVED it! She has a nice, open, and fenced yard. Her dogs were so sweet and got along great with my dog. I would 100% rebook with Nicole!”

“Kristi and her family take amazing care of our Husky! Their property is always very clean and she takes the time to send photos and videos which we always love. Griffey loves going to the farm!”

“I've never used Rover before but when I needed a last minute sitter, Ashley was super responsive and willing to take in my pups on short notice. I wasn't sure how my pups would behave because I haven't used many sitters in the past, and Ashley was very good about acclimating my pups to her dogs and the new environment. Her picture updates were great, and when my husband and son picked up our pups, they noted how attached to Ashley they were. She created a pack environment within a very short time. We would definitely book Ashley again.”

“I would highly recommend using Ashle! This was our first time leaving Ollie with someone else and we could not have been more pleased with Ashle and the great care she provided. Our little guy really seemed to enjoy playing with Ashle's dog and based upon the updates/pictures she provided he received lots of love while staying with her. It is comforting to know that Ashle is there for when we need boarding again in the future.”

“I cannot speak highly enough of our experience with Amanda. She watched our 2 dogs this week, 2 separate times that we needed to travel overnight. You can tell she genuinely adores every dog she cares for and she is so great about sending updates and pictures. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for peace of mind when they have to be away from their fur babies.”

“Ashlyn was very attentive to my dog and very accommodating. My puppy felt comfortable with her. She has a fenced doggy park in her complex so it’s very safe. She updated me and was quickly responsive. I would definitely use her services again. My puppy is high energy and by the time I picked her up she was happy to see me and went straight to bed. I recommend Ashlyn since she’s on top of what your dog needs. Especially love and care.”

About: I have a degree in veterinary technology and used to work in clinics and veterinary ER. I personally have three dogs, three guinea pigs a bearded dragon and am fostering a kitten. I take the care of animals to heart and cater my approach to each of their personalities. I can perform CPR if needed and am able to administer medications and help with any specialized needs. I keep my dogs on somewhat of a routine as I have semi high energy breeds. Though we do lounge around at home when they’re feeling lazy. I treat all animals with the highest level of care whether it is my own pet or someone else’s. I have my eyes on the pets at all times both inside and outside of the home. I worked in the veterinary field through college and retired in 2024. All that knowledge stays with me and I continue to stay up to date on animal care. You will get regular photo updates of your babies during my drop in’s and/or boarding.

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my strong experience working with dogs and puppies of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels. I’ve been caring for animals since I was young, starting with pets belonging to family and friends, which helped me build a solid foundation of hands-on experience with dogs in everyday home environments. I’m especially comfortable with puppies and understand the patience and consistency they need while learning routines like potty training, crate training, leash walking, and basic commands. I also enjoy helping reinforce positive behaviors through structure, repetition, and lots of encouragement. For adult dogs, I adapt easily to their personality—whether they are high-energy and need plenty of exercise or more relaxed and prefer a calm routine. I also have experience with senior dogs who may need a slower pace, medication reminders, and extra attention to comfort and mobility. I pay close attention to each dog’s individual needs, including feeding schedules, exercise requirements, and behavioral cues, so they feel secure and understood while in my care. My goal is always to create a safe, trusting environment where dogs feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for. I also provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you always know how your pet is doing while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, especially with my availability in the afternoons and evenings. Since I work part time, I have ample time during the day to give pets the attention, exercise, and care they need. I enjoy spending my evenings going on walks, which would make it easy and consistent for me to provide daily exercise and outdoor time. I also look forward to using my free time for play, feeding, and bonding activities that help build trust and comfort with pets. In my home or a client’s home, I provide pet care with consistency, attentiveness, and respect for the animal’s routine and comfort level. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, portion sizes, medication instructions if needed, and any specific preferences the owner provides. I make sure pets always have fresh water, regular meals, and a clean, safe environment. I prioritize daily exercise and enrichment through walks, playtime, and interaction suited to the pet’s age, energy level, and personality. I also focus on building trust through calm, patient handling and positive attention. In a client’s home, I am mindful of maintaining the space exactly as instructed, keeping things clean and secure, and making sure the pet feels comfortable in their familiar environment. I understand the importance of routine, so I do my best to keep things as normal and stress-free as possible for the pet while their owner is away. Overall, my approach is to care for each pet as if they were my own—providing reliable, loving, and responsible care tailored to their individual needs
About: I'm a lifelong dog lover and a proud Golden Retriever mom. My baby is currently in Peru with my family, and I miss him every single day. He is like a son to me. While we are apart, I want to pour all that love, care, and attention into your fur babies. I am extremely patient, loving, and responsible. I understand that every pet is family. I have a big, clean, and safe home with plenty of space to play, plus a calm environment for naps and cuddles. I offer daily walks, playtime, feeding on schedule, lots of photos and video updates for you, and all the love they need so you feel peace of mind. I have experience with all energy levels, from playful puppies to sweet seniors. Your pet won't be just a guest - they'll be treated like family. I am currently not working, so I am home full-time and can give your pets my full attention and love! This is perfect because your pup will never be alone and will get walks, playtime, and cuddles all day long. Your pet's safety is my priority. I have a large, clean, quiet home in Springfield with lots of space. No other pets, so yours gets all my attention. I follow your routine, keep everything safe, never leave them alone, and send you daily photos and videos. I treat them like my own pet, with lots of love and patience.
About: Dependable, loving, experience with horses and dogs of all breeds. I have had dogs all of my life until now. I love them from puppy to senior stages! I am currently unemployed so I am available during the week at any time. Last minute calls are ok with me. Weekends, I am flexible. I will care for your pets as if they were my own. I prefer to walk your dog in their own area. However, I will gladly take them to a park for walks also.

About: I have a flexible schedule making me able to offer these services. Please don't hesitate to reach out if my schedule on here doesn't have your time needed as my schedule changes constantly so does my availability. I currently drive to let my parents dog out twice a week for a walk, play etc. I have two cats at home that I love dearly. I tend to put them in the back of the house if I am watching a dog. Love animals and hate to see them locked up and bored all day while their owners are at work. Here to enhance their quality of life! I'm work part time so I'm pretty flexible, willing to work together to figure out the best schedule for everyone involved. Looking forward meeting your fur babies! Depending on the service it differs. My pets at home are two cats so I make sure they have fresh food and water in the mornings and the evenings, make sure to play with them and keep their litter box/areas clean. I would do more with dogs since they are a little more high maintenance. My boyfriend has a dog that comes over and plays in our big back yard. Lots of care and attention will be given to your pet!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their West Liberty home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your West Liberty.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your West Liberty sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
