About: Lots of playtime balanced between indoor and outdoor, while taking lots of short walks. I provide high quality treats, predominately freeze dried as we believe nutrition is key to health (not to mention lots of pups have sensitive tummies). We do have a gate fortress if any pups need alone time/rest time without distraction. I work per diem, so I am usually aware of my schedule far in advance. I love pups, and thought that this could be a great way to make extra cash, while giving my own pup play time with friends! I have a fenced in yard and a 2 year old male, neutered mini goldendoodle. We have indoor gated areas if pups aren’t vibing and need a break from one another (that had never happened but it’s a safety plan in place). We do not use harsh chemicals, candles or artificial fragrance in our home, so it is a toxic free environment.
“Mia and I met as a result of me advertising on the bulletin board @ Honest Weight; "cooking classes in exchange for computer classes". We've enjoyed our "sessions" together and have become good friends. She has met my daughter, who is 5 years older than she, and I've met her parents. I would highly recommend her; she loves animals and sent me the most lovely card when my little dog recently passed.”
“Anna is the best pet caregiver you could ask for! She is reliable, responsible, and pets absolutely adore her. As someone with a pet, I wouldn’t trust anyone more to take care of my dog than Anna! She is very flexible and super responsive! I highly recommend Anna to anyone looking for the perfect pet caregiver!”
“A wonderful dog walker!”
“Alexis watched my dog for a few days and gave him constant attention and activity while keeping me updated with frequent pictures. My dog also has health issues that she was able to accommodate for. I would definitely have her watch my dog again”
About: I have had dogs, bunnies, turtles, and fish for my whole life, and I have work experience at pet stores with hopes of becoming a veterinarian. I care deeply for animals, and promise to treat your pet with the same care. I am currently a student with a lot of free time in my schedule so I am available almost all of the time. When I am at home I have dogs who I care for routinely everyday. I will treat pets and your home with the utmost respect and care. I believe in ensuring the happiness of both pets and their owners.
About: Hello! I have my own two cats who I love so much, and am interested in caring for other pets as well! I live in South Glens Falls and am currently in college and work full time, so my schedule openings are dependent on when I am not in class. I can do drop ins for dog walking, check ins for refilling of food and water, basic grooming services, or just to provide company and play with the pets so they aren’t lonely when their owners may be gone! From preference, I enjoy caring for cats and have the most experience doing so with them. Even though cats don’t need to go outside or require some tasks that dogs do, it’s still important that we are cleaning their litter daily, stimulating them/providing exercise, and keeping their routine and food schedules as normal as possible when their owner may be gone. I am open to caring for individual cats or multiple at a time in their home, and am very comfortable with cats who may not be seen as the “nicest” or most comfortable around new people/anyone in general. If you have an individual cat who cannot stay home and may need to be boarded while you are away, please message me and we can discuss further. I only allow one at this time due to having two cats of my own. My most available days are Monday's, but if you send me a chat we may be able to work something out for additional days and/or hours (especially later afternoon weekdays and weekends). I do anywhere from 1-30 miles away each way in my area. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your pets! :) As of now, I currently am in college for my Bachelor's in Business Management and Marketing, and work full time at Center for Recovery. I am available all day Monday's as well as select hours after work during the week, and the weekends. I do not use/or keep products in the house that may have any harmful ingredients towards my pets, as well as making sure certain furniture is kept in place (kitties love to climb!) and debris isn’t left lying around for someone to choke on! I stay updated on recalls for toys and/or food as often as I can to make sure I’m not bringing anything harmful into my home. Certain cat toys are not allowed in my house as well as I have noticed first hand with my own that some can be possible choking hazards. My cats are 100% indoors and we take every measure to insure they are not able to find their way outside!
About: I have always been around different animals growing up. I have experience walking dogs as a kid and have always enjoy spending time with them! I am currently working part time from 3-7:30. I am looking to be able to take care of pets before I have to go to my job. I live in a house without a fenced in back yard. It is a quite neighborhood while everyone around us is very friendly. There is opportunity to go on lots of walks.
“Sara has been my dogwalker for the last few months and has been wonderful. Responsive, flexible, dependable, communicative and can handle my two large free-spirited pups. I really appreciate having the mid-day support!”
“There is no one else I would trust my boy with more than Andrea! She is the type of person who was truly meant to work with animals. Besides being extremely loving to and patient with all furry friends, she is super knowledgeable about animal health and behavior due to her previous work in a veterinary office. She understands the physical and mental needs of animals and does the work to ensure that those needs are met. My high energy, extremely hyper German shepherd mix was…a lot for most people as a puppy. Andrea immediately took to him and loved on him just as I do as his mama, which was truly a relief for me at that time. I can confidently say that any animals in her care will ALWAYS receive the utmost care, love, and patience. Andrea is responsible and compassionate. She will spoil your babies, just as she does her own pups (trust me, her dogs have goggles so their eyes don’t get dry when they stick their heads out of the car window). Allowing Andrea into your pet’s lives will be one of the best decisions you’ve ever made!”
“Karissa is fantastic!! She loves our Easton (Boston Terrier) like he is her own when he is at her home. She is very detail oriented when it comes to asking what we would like done with him. Although, he does get a little extra spoiled while there. Karissa is a must if you need to leave your 4 legged family member with someone. 1 night to weeks vacation, she is willing. Affordable and loving is a great combination!!”
“She’s great with my dog. Rex is a big dog, German Shepard/ Burmese mountain dog mix. She’s able to walk him and he stays tight by her side. Very attentive, she’s always so full of energy which is great because she tires my dog out and he slept so well. really made me feel like I had nothing to worry about while I’m working my ten hour days because I know he’s busy doing some crazy dog activity with her. She’s like my dog trainer.”
“Our furbaby had a lovely 4 day stay with Tori! He was welcomed with open arms by their dog Benji, even though our pup had no interest in making friends - LOL. Tori sent plenty of pictures of our dog’s adventures on walks and their fenced in backyard. And even some action shots of him playing with his favorite toys. She was quick to respond to all of my many text check ins and followed his feeding schedule perfectly. Our dog will be happy to go back when we travel again!!”
“Alissa is a very caring, confident, and capable pet sitter. It is evident that she has had experience caring for dogs of various sizes and ages. We have a very large German Shepherd, Alissa is wonderfully comfortable with him, and him with her. We are very grateful to have Alissa in our care network, we know wholeheartedly that our dog, as well as our home, is in great hands while we are away!”
“Kate is amazing! She loves every pet as if it were her own. My pets (2 cats & 1 dog) absolutely love her. Even the one cat who normally doesn't like people warmed right up to her. She sends pictures and is very attentive to your pets. She is very good at using YOUR commands for your dog. She will play with them, take them to a park, whatever you need. Kate will also look after the house like bringing in the mail, no problems. She is great and I wouldn't hesitate to book her again.”
“Emmalee is a responsible, communicative and caring dog walker. She went above and beyond for my pup and he was always tuckered out by movie nights!”
