About: I recently moved to Westchester to work as a Trainee Guide Dog Trainer for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. I have been around dogs my whole life; I graduated from The Ohio State University in May 2024 with a degree in Animal Science. Due to my full time work with Guiding Eyes, I am primarily available on weekends or weekday evenings/nights to take care of your furry family members. I treat all pets as if they were my own; I will do everything in my power to make your pups comfortable in your absence. Your pet’s safety and comfort is my top priority!

About: Like many sitters on Rover, I am a lifelong animal lover and longtime animal owner! My family has never been without a cat in the house, each with their own unique personality. I was a regular volunteer in animal shelter/rescue settings with dogs, cats, and rodents throughout high school and college, where my undergraduate degree in Animal Biology placed a strong emphasis on animal welfare. Post-college I spent 3 years working professionally in a wildlife hospital, caring for orphaned and injured mammals, birds, and reptiles. Consequently, I am very comfortable interacting with domestic animals and exotics of many shapes, sizes, and personalities. During the summer, I work irregular hours from home. During the rest of the year, I work full-time Monday-Friday with some schedule flexibility, and my Rover radius is set to allow me to accommodate walks and drop-ins during or after my work day. Generally, I am available weekends, evenings, and holidays with consistency, and can do weekday morning or afternoon visits on a periodic or occasional basis. Please check my calendar and/or message me for specific availability! When providing care for your pet in your home, my goal is to maintain your pet's typical environment and routine - it can be stressful to have an unknown human in their home! I appreciate getting as much information as possible about your pet's personality, preferences, and habits, so that disruption to their routine is minimal and they feel comfortable and safe during their time with me.

Whether your fur baby needs a snuggle buddy, a midday walk, or someone to keep an eye on them while you’re away, I’ve got you covered! I live in a pet-friendly community with plenty of green space and have my own vehicle, so I’m reliable and flexible when it comes to pick-ups, drop-offs, or emergency needs. I know how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pet, and I treat every animal like my own. Let’s connect! I’d love to meet your pup and become their new favorite human! Pet care fits into my routine pretty seamlessly. Honestly, hanging out with animals is one of the best parts of my week! I have a flexible schedule, my own car, and I live in a pet-friendly community with lots of green space, so walks and visits are easy to work into my day. Whether it’s a quick drop-in, a walk around the block, or a weekend stay, I make the time because I truly love being around animals. After 13.5 years with my own dog, it just feels natural to keep giving that kind of love and care to other pets. I live in a pet-friendly community with lots of green space, so walks and visits are easy to work into my day. I'm also more than happy to pet sit in your own home if that's what you prefer.

“Lina is a consummate professional and truly cares for her clients. We had her stop in for a feeding and potty break but she wasn’t available at the exact time we needed. She went out of her way to try to accommodate us and stop by as late as she was able to for a dinner feeding since we were coming home late. A+++”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience with pets. I've owned animals since childhood and have cared for friends, family, and neighbors' pets on numerous occasions. I'm patient, gentle, and attentive to each pet’s needs. With 10 years of experience caring for my two cats, Phantom and Jenny, I understand the importance of providing a loving and comfortable environment for both dogs and cats. As a college student with a good amount of free time, pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I’m available to care for pets on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays after 2 pm. I’m also free all day on weekends, allowing me to give pets the attention they deserve. I enjoy making time for pet care, ensuring each pet gets plenty of love and attention while fitting into my academic commitments Since I live on campus, I am unable to house pets in my own home, but I am more than happy to come to the owner's house to care for their pets. I can take dogs for walks, provide playtime, and ensure they stay active and entertained. I also offer house checks for pets while owners are away, and I'm available for house-sitting to provide the pets with a familiar and comforting environment during their owner's absence.

“I have known Victoria for eight years. She is friendly, outgoing, caring, she loves dog’s! Victoria has taken care of my dog Chloe and she is reliable and attentive.”

Gregory P.
“As a certified Rover pet caregiver, there are several things I know a pet owner looks for in a sitter/walker. The most important of which includes creating a safe space for your furry family member(s) to make them feel as if they are home, individualized attention that makes them feel loved as if they were with their own owners, and nurturing fun so that they aren't stressed during their owners absence. Gregory exhibits all these qualities in spades. His attention to detail, and gentle nature, invites pets of all kinds into a place where they can explore and play. As a pet owner himself he also has the knowledge and qualities to deal with any and all emergency situations that may arise, which is reassuring. Greg is reliable and someone trustworthy to look after anyone's furry bundle of joy!”
