About: What started as a favor for a couple friends… turned into an opportunity. I’ve been dog sitting and house sitting for two friends of mine for 5+ years. The duration of the stay would vary between 2 days and 3 weeks. One household was 2 floors with 3 bedrooms that had 3 large huskies to take care of. The second household was also 2 floors with 3 bedrooms that had 1 large dog and 1 small dog to take care of. I’m skilled in administering medication without any issues. I’m originally from Indiana and living in Florida until I decide to move down here! That means I am free whenever to help families and people with their homes and pets! I am more than happy to be welcomed into your space and take care of whatever needs you may have. I have a huge suv perfect for at least 3 pups to climb into for an adventure.

About: I have always had cats in dogs, and I feel like especially dogs are great for humans to have around. Over the years I have had 4 dogs, 5 cats part of our family...and one bearded dragon. I used to care for 2 different sets of 3 dogs weekly from the time I was 9 until I was 19. One set of dogs also had pond fish and a cat to take care of. I have had my dog for 11 years, she is a rescue from Puerto Rico. I trim my dogs nails, brush her teeth and do other grooming all myself. I have trained maybe a dozen puppies, but have not worked in a veterinarian's office. I have cared for horses and exotic birds on a bird ranch before, although the dogs on the farm were my main focus. I'm up early with my dog, and then off to various parts of Oregon or Florida to work. I make my own schedule and need more dogs in my life, so Rover helps facilitate that need. I follow instructions, and otherwise just try to be your pet's friend while keeping things clean. I like to sit with animals or interact in a way where they get to know me, and offer my attention if they want it. Walks are big for me, but yard play is more appropriate for some dogs. I try to find something the pet and myself can bond over, that way they aren't as nervous when their human is absent. I like to make nicknames for pets too, and talk to them with baby talk when it's just myself and the animals.
