About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have always had a special love for them. I grew up with both horses and dogs, so caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I currently have two Pit Lab mixes of my own who are truly my children! I also regularly help care for my sister’s dog when needed. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets, and I’ll treat every animal I care for with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own. I work from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pets throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and lots of attention. Living at Jax Beach, I’m always out walking my own dogs and would love to bring your pup along for some fresh air and exercise! About: For 17 years I have been taking care of dogs (really animals of all kinds, shapes, and sizes) both of my own and for others too. There has never been a point in my life that I have not had a dog. Right before I was born, my parents got a beagle that I grew up with. I started taking care of her at a young age (I’d say even later than 17 years ago, just not notable enough to count for it) when she needed special baths for her skin condition, treatments for her ear infections, and catering to her broken arm after getting run over by a car. Before she passed, we got a husky. I helped train (on and off leash commands), groom, trim his nails, and learned how to speak husky. He was a very loved hand full. I learned so much from him because of all the trouble he made from running away, eating glue, chewing up the entire house… you name it, he did it. Through these lessons I have learned not only how to retain my patience and grace, but also how to be a beacon of support and reservoir of love for all fur babies. Nevertheless, when he got older, I gave him shots for his hip dysplasia and ensured he was most comfortable until the day my sister and I sat in the room with him on his way up to doggy heaven. Today, I have a great pyrenees who is a bundle of joy. Again, I have trained her, happily cater to her persistent anxiety--especially with thunderstorms--ensure she is exercised, groomed, and feeling loved. Currently I am working part-time and most of this is at home doing online research for school. Pet care is my daily routine anyways and I have a partner who often stays home to take care of our pup. He certainly supports me needing to fill my cup with more love in my heart from interacting with animals. Nevertheless, I love to help people out. I find that having a good, stable community is the most precious thing we can have as people. It takes a village and I am happy to be apart of that village. I am happy to make any accommodations possible to help you and your fur baby feel the most comfortable with my care. Upon your request to book me, we will go over the requirements of their boarding or my visit(s). You let me know what I can do to help and what you feel most content with.

About: The reason I thought about being a pet sitter is I have been doing it for free for many years and why not sit for other people. I would like to take advantage of not being a full time pet owner and being a remote worker. This way I can focus on your family pets with no distractions and have an adventure at the same time.
