“Parker absolutely loved her! Sent photos of my pup to me throughout her visits and went above and beyond! Thank you for helping me out so last minute I APPRECIATE YOU!”

“Stephanie took great care of Onyx. We booked her to housesit and stay at our place to watch Onyx. She was respectful of our home. She was very attentive to Onyx and her needs as a senior dog. Great communication. Great under pressure. Will definitely book with her again.”

“Chrissy did a great job watching Olive! Her communication was excellent throughout the stay, and we could tell Olive was loved and had the best time with Chrissy’s family. We got lots of adorable pictures, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away — no worries at all. We’ll definitely be reaching out to Chrissy again. Highly recommend!”

About: Since a teenager, I've taken care of dogs of every kind. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to check in with, feed and play with their pets when they were away. I grew up around cats and dogs and love them dearly, have two dogs and one cat! I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups and cats! I'm available on weekends, and most weekdays! I have two dogs and a cat at home and know how to take care and treat pets. They will be exhausted and happy at the end of the day!

About: Hello! Im a local native to Jacksonville, and i genuinely love dogs and cats. Having two of my own, I really know how to take care of them and go above and beyond to ensure my furbabies are happy, therefore, I’d do the same for you! I have an Australian shepherd and husky, and take pride in engaging in their crazy ambitions, having trained them since they were babies. I’m working on my own business and need some extra cash flow. Therefore, I’m very available during the day, I usually walk my dogs in the morning and workout. So anytime after 12pm works really well for dog walking. As for dog sitting/home sitting, my job is remote so I can do work from home! Typically, my home is fenced, therefore, I usually just let my dogs roam free in the back while I watch. We play fetch and doing training back there. But for clients with no fence, I have no problem walking dogs to go potty. As far as inside, I pay close attention to things. If the room is too quiet or gets to rough, I’m always on top of things. And if my dogs are acting weird, I ensure I’m on top of that before the problem gets worse.
“Cathryn is wonderful! She took amazing care of our dog Lucy who is highly energetic. She kept us updated with pictures each day and was accommodating when things popped up. This was our first time using rover after changing dog sitters and I’m so thankful we found her!”

“We’re in town for a wedding and hired Briana to babysit our husky. She was very communicative and constantly updated us. Ellie seemed happy when Briana arrived and when we got home!”

“Day is the BEST! This is the 2nd time she pet/house sat for me and they were so happy to see her come back... even the cats... and they can be very choosey. I feel so comfortable now when I go on vacation or work trips, knowing that my dog, cats and house are in great hands. Day goes above and beyond pet and house care!”

“The dogs settled in nicely while Laura was watching them. She understands dogs need time to warm up and was very gentle with them. She’s prompt and reliable.”

“Carrie was awesome with our two dogs. She followed our instructions, sent plenty of photos and spoiled our dogs to the level their used to. Definitely will rebook her in the future.”

About: For 17 years I have been taking care of dogs (really animals of all kinds, shapes, and sizes) both of my own and for others too. There has never been a point in my life that I have not had a dog. Right before I was born, my parents got a beagle that I grew up with. I started taking care of her at a young age (I’d say even later than 17 years ago, just not notable enough to count for it) when she needed special baths for her skin condition, treatments for her ear infections, and catering to her broken arm after getting run over by a car. Before she passed, we got a husky. I helped train (on and off leash commands), groom, trim his nails, and learned how to speak husky. He was a very loved hand full. I learned so much from him because of all the trouble he made from running away, eating glue, chewing up the entire house… you name it, he did it. Through these lessons I have learned not only how to retain my patience and grace, but also how to be a beacon of support and reservoir of love for all fur babies. Nevertheless, when he got older, I gave him shots for his hip dysplasia and ensured he was most comfortable until the day my sister and I sat in the room with him on his way up to doggy heaven. Today, I have a great pyrenees who is a bundle of joy. Again, I have trained her, happily cater to her persistent anxiety--especially with thunderstorms--ensure she is exercised, groomed, and feeling loved. Currently I am working part-time and most of this is at home doing online research for school. Pet care is my daily routine anyways and I have a partner who often stays home to take care of our pup. He certainly supports me needing to fill my cup with more love in my heart from interacting with animals. Nevertheless, I love to help people out. I find that having a good, stable community is the most precious thing we can have as people. It takes a village and I am happy to be apart of that village. I am happy to make any accommodations possible to help you and your fur baby feel the most comfortable with my care. Upon your request to book me, we will go over the requirements of their boarding or my visit(s). You let me know what I can do to help and what you feel most content with.

About: I am a skilled Pet Sitter with an infectious and energetic personality. What sets me apart from other sitters ? I see my clients animals like my own , everything I do for your animals is how I would treat my own , With Kindness and Compassion. Through positive experiences I strive to build trust and communication between Sitter , Pet and Pet Parent. I am currently working part time with a flexible schedule , If I’m given more then two weeks in advance I can bend my schedule to whatever necessary I will care for my clients pets in their home , with warmth and familiarity. It’s extremely important that a pet is safe and comfortable in their own environment, so by being in my clients home I will strive to make their schedule just as similar as I can make it . I understand how stressful it is for a pet parent and pet to be away so during my visit I will send update photos , texts and lots of communication so neither pet or pet parents feel lonesome .
“Lindsay did an excellent job taking care of my 2 cats and senior dog! She stayed at the house and everything worked out perfectly! She also sent pictures and updated me throughout our trip! Definitely recommend her for any pet needs!”

About: I have always had cats in dogs, and I feel like especially dogs are great for humans to have around. Over the years I have had 4 dogs, 5 cats part of our family...and one bearded dragon. I used to care for 2 different sets of 3 dogs weekly from the time I was 9 until I was 19. One set of dogs also had pond fish and a cat to take care of. I have had my dog for 11 years, she is a rescue from Puerto Rico. I trim my dogs nails, brush her teeth and do other grooming all myself. I have trained maybe a dozen puppies, but have not worked in a veterinarian's office. I have cared for horses and exotic birds on a bird ranch before, although the dogs on the farm were my main focus. I'm up early with my dog, and then off to various parts of Oregon or Florida to work. I make my own schedule and need more dogs in my life, so Rover helps facilitate that need. I follow instructions, and otherwise just try to be your pet's friend while keeping things clean. I like to sit with animals or interact in a way where they get to know me, and offer my attention if they want it. Walks are big for me, but yard play is more appropriate for some dogs. I try to find something the pet and myself can bond over, that way they aren't as nervous when their human is absent. I like to make nicknames for pets too, and talk to them with baby talk when it's just myself and the animals.
