“Cathryn was wonderful to work with! She was able to watch my babies for me on short notice when another sitter had to cancel. She took amazing care of my two large dogs and updated me often on how they were doing throughout the weekend. I will definitely hire her again for future trips!”

“Adam is so wonderful with our pups and we all are so glad we found him! They are wonderfully cared for and I know get plenty of attention and activity while we are away. I say this as they are happily taking a little afternoon snooze. Adam is very communicative and so nice. He is responsive to messages and gives great updates which is always appreciated. Would not hesitate to recommend him to others and will definitely continue to book. Thanks again Adam!”

“Day was absolutely wonderful with my two pups! (And even my betta fish) They were extremely well taken care of and it was clear that they truly enjoyed having Day stay with them while I was out of town. Day went above and beyond in their care, AND the care of my home/patio plants as when I left town, the area was hit with about 5 days of bad storms! Day took my patio plants off their stands so they wouldn’t blow over and then placed them back. 100% hope to have Day house/dog sit for us again in the future. Thank you!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up in a house full of pets and started pet sitting and working for horse trainers as a teenager. I completed a vet tech course and worked in an animal ER before my military service. I experience with all kinds of animals- from dogs and cats to horses- and I truly love them all! I’ve done extensive research and hands-on training with my own dogs, so I’m comfortable helping pets who need a little extra structure or patience. These days, my home is happily shared with three dogs and a cat who keep life full of love (and fur). My pets are family, and I know how much trust it takes to let someone else care for yours- that’s why I treat every animal like my own, with compassion, patience, and genuine love. I’m available most days and flexible with timing. I can accommodate early mornings, afternoons, or evenings. I can usually accommodate visits or walks on short notice as well. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease knowing your pets are in my care. I tailor each visit to fit your pets’ unique needs and routines. I’m attentive, reliable, and always make communication a priority so you can relax knowing your pets are safe, happy, and loved.
“The dogs settled in nicely while Laura was watching them. She understands dogs need time to warm up and was very gentle with them. She’s prompt and reliable.”

“Nicole did so well with our pup and took really good care of the house! We are so thankful for her, especially with being flexible with a short notice booking. Our Bonnie was so well taken care of!”

“Machalia house sat for us again over a long weekend and took care of our girl Lovie. She took great care of Lovie and the house, treating both with care. We got regular updates and pictures and she even took care of a couple household issues while we were away. We will for sure use her again.”

About: I joined Rover last month with the goal of providing exceptional care and service to each pet that I encounter. I hope by proving excellent services to establish a strong client base. Doing so will be a challenge with so many wonderful pet sitters, but I know it is possible! As a child, my family and I always had dogs and cats. As an adult, I continue to have a passion for all animals. This passion drove me to become very active board member of an animal rescue, The London Sanctuary. The London Sanctuary is a local hound rescue based in Jacksonville, for over 10 years. There is a 20% off the first booking promotions to any new clients. I currently working at compounding pet pharmacy. Pet care seamlessly integrates into daily and weekly routines by creating a structured framework that benefits both the pet and the owner. I would be staying at your house. I believe this helps your pets feel more comfortable in their daily routines that are already established. 🐾

About: I’ve always loved being around dogs. I’ve had my own and cared for so many others over the years. I’ve also volunteered with different shelters and fostered, including K9s for Warriors, which gave me experience supporting dogs with all kinds of personalities and needs. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I don’t take that lightly. I’m calm, dependable, and make sure every dog feels safe, cared for, and loved like they’re my own. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or quiet company, I meet them where they are and make sure they’re happy while you’re away. I am an independent consultant and work from home. That means I have a ton of flexibility and set my own schedule. With enough advance notice, I can easily adapt and accommodate pet sitting requests. Your pet’s comfort comes first.
