About: Every animal has a unique personality. During our time together, I love discovering shared interests with your pets so we both have a genuinely fun experience. Animals are exceptionally intuitive and pick up on our energies, which is why I always bring my calmest, happiest, and most present self to every interaction. I own a pet care business called George Sits LLC in Jacksonville, and I am looking to fill my books! I would leave only to stop in on other pets nearby who may also be in my care. I have multiple years working and volunteering at boarding facilities and shelters, and I have never been petless myself. Growing up, we had dogs, chickens, snakes, guinea pigs, geckos, and so so so many cats. My Approach to Care For Dogs: Built entirely on positive reinforcement, encouragement, and active engagement. About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 14 years and have experience with dogs of all ages, including senior dogs. I grew up with my family dog, Beethoven, and enjoyed everything from daily walks and trips to the beach to teaching him basic commands like sit and fetch. I love spending quality time with dogs, whether that’s going on long walks, playing outside, or relaxing on the couch. About: Since a teenager, I've taken care of dogs of every kind. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to check in with, feed and play with their pets when they were away. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have always had a special love for them. I grew up with both horses and dogs, so caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I currently have two Pit Lab mixes of my own who are truly my children! I also regularly help care for my sister’s dog when needed. About: For 17 years I have been taking care of dogs (really animals of all kinds, shapes, and sizes) both of my own and for others too. There has never been a point in my life that I have not had a dog. Right before I was born, my parents got a beagle that I grew up with. I started taking care of her at a young age (I’d say even later than 17 years ago, just not notable enough to count for it) when she needed special baths for her skin condition, treatments for her ear infections, and catering to her broken arm after getting run over by a car. Before she passed, we got a husky. I helped train (on and off leash commands), groom, trim his nails, and learned how to speak husky. He was a very loved hand full. I learned so much from him because of all the trouble he made from running away, eating glue, chewing up the entire house… you name it, he did it. Through these lessons I have learned not only how to retain my patience and grace, but also how to be a beacon of support and reservoir of love for all fur babies. Nevertheless, when he got older, I gave him shots for his hip dysplasia and ensured he was most comfortable until the day my sister and I sat in the room with him on his way up to doggy heaven. Today, I have a great pyrenees who is a bundle of joy. Again, I have trained her, happily cater to her persistent anxiety--especially with thunderstorms--ensure she is exercised, groomed, and feeling loved. Currently I am working part-time and most of this is at home doing online research for school. Pet care is my daily routine anyways and I have a partner who often stays home to take care of our pup. He certainly supports me needing to fill my cup with more love in my heart from interacting with animals. Nevertheless, I love to help people out. I find that having a good, stable community is the most precious thing we can have as people. It takes a village and I am happy to be apart of that village. I am happy to make any accommodations possible to help you and your fur baby feel the most comfortable with my care. About: The reason I thought about being a pet sitter is I have been doing it for free for many years and why not sit for other people. I would like to take advantage of not being a full time pet owner and being a remote worker. This way I can focus on your family pets with no distractions and have an adventure at the same time. I am kind of new to Rover but have been a TrustedHousesitters and had 7-5 star reviews. I am in telephone sales, so can work on my own schedule. I am available to take care of your animal in your home, walk in the morning, and evening, feedings, and playtime. I do everything I can to make your pet feel comfortable and calm. I like to take them for a walk in the morning, late afternoon, and evening but will accommodate extra walks if needed, especially puppies. I want them to be happy and do what I can to do this.

About: I’ve been heavily relied on by friends and family when it comes to the wellbeing and mental stimulation of there animals. I’ve trained puppies, from potty training to tricks. I’ve taken care of pregnant cats, and taught cats and dogs alike to trust again after being in toxic environments. I currently have 3 cats and a dog of my own that are very well taken care of and I’d love to provide my care to any pet that needs it! I’m thankful to be in such an open position to be able to provide care at nearly anytime. My partner currently pays the majority of bills and I am enrolled in online college courses so whenever I’m not doing schoolwork I am doordashing in my spare time or looking for pets to sit. I’m mostly available any day, but for long time sits, I do prefer having my Saturdays or Sundays free. I’m currently unable to care for pets in my home unfortunately, but if you need them out of the house for a few hours I’m more than happy to take them on an adventure! Whether it’s a long trail, the beach or a park. If care is to be provided in your home, the time will consist of potty breaks, feeding, walks, mental stimulating activities, and lots of belly rubs!
