About: Recently moved here from our family farm in central Minnesota, I have experience in working with a multitude of animals. Any animal from dogs to cattle, poultry to pigs and cats to horses! I have experience in dog sitting for neighbors, friends and family with or without being paid. I have a walker hound back home on the farm who loves to run around the farm and lives to hunt so changing his environment from the farm to an apartment didn’t seem fair to do. I miss him dearly, and have such a love for dogs, I would take them all home if I could! I also have experience working on a pig farm as a farrowing technician (assisting in birthing) and all the daily cares and medications from the time they’re born until they are weaned to another farm - also medication administration for sick pigs, including injectables. I have experience and training done on caring for elderly horses. I have experience milking cows and caring for young calves. I have fostered and cared horses until they were able to find homes, which is always tough having to say goodbye and trust they are going to a good home. Out of all the animals in the world, my heart will always love dogs the most. I do enjoy having cats around, unfortunately I am allergic so I can’t have any of my own. But I love dogs with all my heart, I think it’s safe to say I love them more than people! I may be new to the state of Florida, but I have a lot of time and dedication to offer as I am a “stay at home wife” to a husband in the Navy. We will be in the area for the next 5 years, and I would love to meet some people and help with their pets in anyway I can! Even if it’s just a drop in visit so they don’t feels so alone for such a long stretch of the day. I am ready, able and willing to love and care for your dog just as you do! I have TWO letters of recommendation I can share from my previous employers as well. I am currently a stay at home wife, husband is in the Navy. I have all the time in the world to dedicate to your dogs needs and would sure love the extra company anytime! I live in a secure apartment complex that has a gated parking lot and sidewalks, and a fenced in dog park. It’s very peaceful and quiet here but there’s other dogs to play with as well! I also spend a lot of time walking the beach on the Mayport Naval base and would be more than happy to get your dogs steps in somewhere besides the hot concrete! I don’t have any children yet, and my dog is back home on the farm in Minnesota - not pets here. Just my husband and I!
“Coco loves Kristin and her pups. It is also clear that Kristin loves Coco. Coco comes home happy and loved. Kristin is so responsive and really a pleasure to have helping when we need to have Coco taken care of.”

“Sophie was so well taken care of by Lexi and Kala! She came back happy, tuckered, and well-socialized! We’re thankful to have found such great care—and we are always thankful for the pictures, videos, and updates during the stay. :) Thank you Lexi!!”

“Kelly was great!! We just boarded our pup with her for the first time and couldn’t be happier - we received daily updates, he was well cared for and truely surrounded by love. We are so excited to finally have a good spot that we can trust to watch our pup and a great overall place that our baby enjoys!!”

“Bekah was amazing! She took care of our pup like she was her own. She kept us updated and sent us pictures every day. She also has a huge backyard with a pool for our pup to swim in. 10/10 would recommend her services!”

“Charlayda is the best. I know my pup is is in great hands when I have to leave her. She is so sweet to my baby and gives lots of updates and pics/videos. For my Nova being with Charlayda is like home away from home. Thank you for being so wonderful!”

“This is the 2nd time Andrea and David watched my dog. Each visit they make sure to keep me updated with how he’s doing, and with photos. He always comes home the same happy dog he was when I dropped him off. I cannot recommend them enough and I will allow them to watch my puppy over and over again!”

“Stephanie was absolutely fantastic! Her openness, communication and thoroughness was top notch. We’re thrilled to have met her and have her take care of our fur babies. We’re already planning our next watch with her! Thank you Stephanie!”

About: I was raised with 6 cats and have always had at least 2! I’ve fostered kittens and also taken care of seniors. I’m known for feeding neighborhood cats and loving a good cuddle or play sesh! I currently have 2 rescue cats that love our window bird/squirrel feeder!
About: I live in a home with a fenced-in yard. I have 7 animals of my own (2 dogs, 4 cats, and a bearded dragon) and I live with 2 other furbaby spoilers (1 works at the humane society!). I also work from home, so I can be very flexible. I promise to send you silly/cute moments of their vacation 🥰 I work from home, so I am very flexible. I also have a fenced-in yard. I can follow just about any routine your pets are used to. I’m big on furbaby cuddles! While I’m watching them, they will get all the nose boops and scratches they want! If they’re on a potty schedule, I’ll set timers to make sure I don’t miss it. If not, I love figuring out what their cue is to go outside :)

“I am so grateful for her services. She has been a blessing to me and my animals. She is honest and thorough and goes out of her way to make sure everyone is taken care of. She has a genuine love for animals.”

About: Iv’e taken care of Animals for the past 2 years at a Veterinary Hospital as an Animal Caregiver. I am comfortable and experienced to take care of seniors cats and cats that require special medical care or administrating prevention. I can provide routine care such as ear cleaning, and nail trim.
About: For 17 years I have been taking care of dogs (really animals of all kinds, shapes, and sizes) both of my own and for others too. There has never been a point in my life that I have not had a dog. Right before I was born, my parents got a beagle that I grew up with. I started taking care of her at a young age (I’d say even later than 17 years ago, just not notable enough to count for it) when she needed special baths for her skin condition, treatments for her ear infections, and catering to her broken arm after getting run over by a car. Before she passed, we got a husky. I helped train (on and off leash commands), groom, trim his nails, and learned how to speak husky. He was a very loved hand full. I learned so much from him because of all the trouble he made from running away, eating glue, chewing up the entire house… you name it, he did it. Through these lessons I have learned not only how to retain my patience and grace, but also how to be a beacon of support and reservoir of love for all fur babies. Nevertheless, when he got older, I gave him shots for his hip dysplasia and ensured he was most comfortable until the day my sister and I sat in the room with him on his way up to doggy heaven. Today, I have a great pyrenees who is a bundle of joy. Again, I have trained her, happily cater to her persistent anxiety--especially with thunderstorms--ensure she is exercised, groomed, and feeling loved. Currently I am working part-time and most of this is at home doing online research for school. Pet care is my daily routine anyways and I have a partner who often stays home to take care of our pup. He certainly supports me needing to fill my cup with more love in my heart from interacting with animals. Nevertheless, I love to help people out. I find that having a good, stable community is the most precious thing we can have as people. It takes a village and I am happy to be apart of that village. I am happy to make any accommodations possible to help you and your fur baby feel the most comfortable with my care. Upon your request to book me, we will go over the requirements of their boarding or my visit(s). You let me know what I can do to help and what you feel most content with.
“Lindsay did a great job taking care of our cats while we were away. It was nice to come home and not have to clean up after the cats because Lindsay was so diligent about doing everything I requested on her visits.”

“I booked Danielle as our first time on Rover and couldn’t be happier! Our dogs absolutely adore her! She was punctual and attentive the entire time and went above and beyond to make them feel loved while we were gone! 💗 You won’t regret booking her to care for your fur babies!”

Im also well versed in their boundaries and body language and know when to give them space. My goal is to keep your cat happy while also feeling safe. Im great at cleaning, and I have no problem with administering medications or cleaning litter boxes. When it comes to cats, I am very experienced!

About: I am joyful and love being active. I walk about 3 miles a day but if your dog is really active I usually double that and take him on a beautiful trail by my home. So plenty of time to get all that energy out for puppies and active dogs. I love dogs so much I want one but my landlord won't let me get one so I would like to continue my experience of loving on yours! :) Dogs and I usally bond instantly but the timid ones usually warm up within the day. I do little things like calm them and talk to them gently. And then when it's time to play I get really excited and usually play fetch or tug of war. I also give great baths and don't mind getting dirty so if that is what they need for the day, I'm your gal! :) * update please read* due to recent dog sitting I have to ask for vaccination records and proof that they are being treated for fleas. please understand that multiple dogs come to my home I cannot put it at risk for the other angels that visit. Thanks for understanding. I have a flexible active job. I enjoy walking so this would be an added benefit for me. My job allows me to care for dogs when needed. I live in Jacksonville Florida, I’m willing to travel to surrounding areas. I provide nurturing care to all dogs. Some need extra attention that’s okay I go the extra mile to make sure I communicate with the clients needs and provide photos of updates.

“Lana was responsive and warm from the start, took care of my baby at the last minute for us and it went great. First time using a dog sitter but we will be repeat customers.”

“Wendy was super awesome to accept my last minute booking for my baby's evening care. I have never left my Squiggle with a pro-sitter, so I was apprehensive about the experience - but I had to try it out, knowing I would probably need sitting services in the future. Wendy was on time picking up my little guy, and even went above and beyond when she went by the pet store to pick up Squiggy's fave brand of food at my request. Thanks, Wendy. She was responsive, quickly answering when I messaged to check on my baby. She even sent me pictures, and although he looked miserable BC he missed me (we are VERY attached), I was comfortable knowing he was well cared for while with Wendy. I had appointments until later that night and Wendy was very accommodating and dropped him off right when I asked, and she gave me a full update via Rover - right down to how many times Squiggy made poo. That is some serious awesome. And although very excited to see me and be home, Squiggy wasn't traumatized I left him with a stranger. Now that he has met Wendy, I wont hesitate to book her again, should we need her. Squiggy made a new friend, and I am now totally cool with Wendy watch my little guy again.”

“Suilen is amazing!! Dustin is so happy and comfortable in her home! She kept me up to date throughout the day with text and pictures of Dustin. Highly recommend and will be using her for future daycare.”

They took alot of time listening to my concerns/instructions and followed them carefully. Thank you guys for loving on and caring for my baby.”

About: Hi, we’re Anna and Nick, your neighbors and fellow dog lovers. We have a goldendoodle and three dachshund who love having friends over. They’re all very social and sweet with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. Please check out their pet profiles for more info. We offer daycare and overnight stays at our house. Nick and I both work from home and have a flex scheduled. We have plenty of time to give the pups lots of love and attention throughout the day. No kids. We give lots of attention and outside time. Our home is a calm, dog-focused environment. We have a large fenced yard and are outside a lot. We have a pool. While our dogs don’t swim, many of our friends’ dogs love a dip. We don’t mind! We love it. And we won’t leave them unattended.

“Patty was fantastic in caring for my miniature daschund Richard. Patty knows the breed well and was very quick in understanding Richards quirks. She was patient and kind with him and I could see that he loved spending time with her because he would run to her door in the morning to see her. I could not have been happier with Patty, she is amazing. Thank you Patty.”

About: I'm the proud mama to 3 mutts: Bull/Terrier Mix, Kodak, & two Basset/Lab Mixes, Nikon & Fuji. I have always been a dog lover & have fully enjoyed dog-sitting & dog-walking for friends & family back in OKC, my hometown, & I can't wait to get to do the same for your fur-member here in JAX! I also work at a dog park bar & have gone through dog behavior training & walking. I work full time from home M-Fri, but I can be flexible and am usually available on the weekends. I also take care of my motley crew of 3 pups on the daily. At my own home, I have a fenced-in yard and our dogs to either keep your pup company or have multiple crates to separate them if necessary. I'm happy to check in or dog sit at clients' homes too.

About: I have been caring for animals since I was 13 years old. I owned a Boston Terrier that was full of life and I now own a Golden Retriever with even more energy! My neighbors growing up knew me as the dog lover so I would be the to call when family or friends/neighbors were out of town whether it was boarding, dropping in during the day, or just taking their dog to release some energy while they were busy. I can be trusted up to walk, feed, and play with your four-legged child as if it were my own! I am currently working from home Monday through Friday. I work a flexible schedule that gives me plenty of time for play, potty, feeding, and walking. I have worked with animals that are both crate trained and not crate trained (my current baby is crate trained but my couch and bed are always open to them). My backyard is fenced with artificial turf. It is not super large but I live right next to a fenced in dog park that is perfect for socializing and energy release (literally 12 steps from my driveway). I am comfortable (if you are) with pets on my couch and/or bed. Or I am comfortable getting your pup inside of a crate as necessary.
“Katya was great! She stayed in contact and progress updates on how Smokey was doing! Smokey came home exhausted from all the fun and in great shape. Highly recommend! Thank you!”

About: I grew up in a country area, we had a lot of animals growing up. We had to take care of chickens, bunnies, roosters, horses, cows, guinea pigs and dogs. I think I have a strong base to take care of a pet appropriately. Plus we are a military family l, most likely you will find us on base! Currently I am employed full time in a working from home environment, at times I can be called in to deploy out of state but I will let you know in advance! Mostly I am available during weekdays in the morning before 8am and in the afternoon after 4:30pm. I can also be available on Saturdays with prior notification/plan. We have a fenced yard, lots of green areas, trails that we can walk to, a dog park and well lit areas. For me this is as serious and delicate as taking care of a child, I will ask owners if treats are allowed or anything that is allowed/not allowed.

My boyfriend and I have 3 boy cats which we rescued who are our heart and soul and they truly saved us. I have had multiple dogs as well which were my pride and joy. We both grew up on/around a farm and the love we have for all walks of life is what drives me to give your pets the best care possible ! What sets me apart from others is the genuine love and kindness I have for animals because each and everyone has a back story and they all deserved to be loved the same. Dogs aren’t just friends, they are family and that’s why I take pride in helping other owners like myself find someone who they trust to help them one belly rub at a time I am available 5/6 days a week! I left my full time job and I am now pursuing the chance to provide owners with comfort and stress free care because your fur babies mean just as much to me as they do to you! When caring for your pets in your home, I treat your space how I would expect mine to be treated and that’s with respect. By ensuring that I keep same routine that your fur baby is used to will make sure that they feel comfortable because meeting someone new can be nerve wracking. I make sure pets get plenty of love, attention, and are loved as if they were my own — and I keep you updated with messages and plenty of photos so you know your pet is happy and safe. I stick to your pet’s usual schedule for walks, feedings, playtime, and potty breaks to keep things familiar and stress-free. I follow all instructions provided and always double-check things like food portions, medication (if needed), and security (locked doors, gates, etc. Clean-up and tidiness are a priority too; I leave your space just as I found it, or better.
About: Since I was born I’ve always had a dog at home. Right now I have a black lab named Jaxson who is my best friend. I have been taking care of dogs that arnt my own for 10 years, I walk dogs, house sit and board dogs to my house! I’ve always had a passion for animals especially dogs, big or small, active or chill, old or puppies !! I just graduated college and looking to make some extra money this summer :) Im free anytime for pet needs. I can walk, board or house sit! I have a pretty open schedule and won’t be traveling much this summer. I have a fenced yard, a 5 yr old black lab to keep your dog company, a fenced park right next to my house that I can take you dog too. I can adjust to any of my clients needs!
About: Im comfortable with any type of animal. My mom has been rescuing animals since I was born. I have worked with big dogs, small dogs, nervous dogs, energetic dogs- you name it! And I know how to take care of them accordingly. Cats are also my speciality, as I currently have around 20 cats. I do have 2 dogs as well, though. I love animals more than anything, and I promise your pets will be happy and safe in my care. Im generally always available to help! I do not currently have a job, and I haven’t started college yet. My availability is very open. Your pets needs are my top priority whenever I am with them. That means that I am alert and focused when taking care of them. I am kind and gentle, but I am also happy to play and be enthusiastic depending on the pets personality. Every pet is different, with their unique preferences, boundaries, and attitude. I take that into account and get to know your pet so that I can make their care special and personalized.

I have the time right now to cater to various energy level dogs. I am able to walk dogs multiple times a day. I also have experience with senior dogs who need a slower day or medication. I grew up with large dogs but also smaller dogs that had niche healthcare necessities. So I am well versed in many breeds and different care styles.
About: I've loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a farm in PR. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and care for their pets while they were away. I understand that every animal has a unique personality, and I take the time to earn their trust at their own pace. I'm especially patient with shy, anxious, or senior pets and believe they deserve gentle, compassionate care. Whether it's keeping your pet active with walks and playtime or simply keeping them company and maintaining their routine, I'll treat them with the same love and attention I give my own. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you're apart. I also speak fluent Spanish, some Portuguese I do work a full time job as an optician (15 years) but looking into going to college for animal pshycology and behavior. Im available mostly weekends right now and some weekdays. My happiest is when I'm surrounded with animals since I grew up in a farm in PR it's been my dream to create a sanctuary for all animals. Right now not offering services in my home. I share my home with my sweet dog, Alice, who has taught me a great deal about patience, positive reinforcement, and understanding different personalities. And my beautiful affectionate senior cat, ophilia, who can't get enough cuddles and treats ❤️

About: Animals have always been an important part of my life, and I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs. As a dog owner, I know the importance of patience, trust-building, and creating a safe environment where pets feel comfortable and loved. My rescue dog, Orville, has taught me the value of meeting dogs where they are, whether they need extra reassurance, structure, playtime, or simply a calm companion. I take the time to learn each pet’s habits and preferences so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress-free while their family is away. I have always enjoyed helping friends, family, and neighbors by caring for their pets. While I have not provided pet care professionally before or through a platform like Rover, I have plenty of hands-on experience caring for animals and understanding their needs. My experience may not be formally documented, but it comes from years of genuine care, responsibility, and love for all animals. I pride myself on being dependable, attentive, and communicative. Your pet will be treated with the same care, respect, and affection I give my own. Thursday through Saturday, I have flexible availability and can provide care throughout the day. I currently work four days a week until 3 PM, so Sunday through Wednesday I'm available after 3 PM. I am happy to work with your pet’s schedule and routine! I love spending time in my own backyard, but I also enjoy exploring new places! My pup loves adventures, so we often visit on-leash parks for walks, fresh air, and new experiences. I enjoy giving dogs opportunities to safely explore, get exercise, and enjoy the world around them while always keeping their comfort and safety a priority. Play is a constant in our household! I believe playtime is about more than just fetch. I enjoy incorporating scent games, enrichment activities, and mentally stimulating games into a dog’s routine to help keep them happy and engaged (esp. if it's extremely hot or rainy)!

“Our Doberman, Ana, has stayed with Debra multiple times and has received excellent care and attention every stay. Ana has some major health issues now and I was worried about leaving her. Debra was so kind and made sure our dog was comfortable and happy. She went above and beyond and sent us pics and updates every day so we could relax and enjoy our cruise knowing that Ana was okay. So thankful to have found Debra! She is amazing!!!”

“Wendy was AWESOME! I received multiple messages per day on how she was doing. Also had multiple photos to go along with what she was doing. Plenty of fun and she came home super happy. Thank you again!!”

“Candace and Thomas were so great! Sent so many updates with photos that made me feel totally confident Tilly was in great care :) would love for them to watch her again in the future!”

“Catherine and her home were a great fit to watch my Stella! She was very communicative and made her feel right at home. We would absolutely use Catherine to board again!”

“Marlene was great with our boy! She was very communicative and got back to us quickly when our plans had to change slightly at the last minute. Sent us so many pictures of our dog having the best time while we were away. Would highly recommend ☺️”

“Anna and Nick were WONDERFUL! We felt so at ease our entire trip and I never once had to ask for updates because Anna was on it - she sent me photos and videos everyday. Our dog had such a great time and loved playing with her new best friends Chewey and Libby. Will absolutely rebook in the future.”

“The most amazing people we’ve ever worked with. Could not recommend someone better. Highly recommend working with them. Almost hate to leave a 5 star review, don’t want anyone else to steal them away lol! Excellent communication, updates, and keeping our puppy in his routine.”

“10 out of 5!!!!TOP NOTCH! We have boarded our dog once and she was with our other lab. Since becoming an “only” we have not boarded her; when needed she stayed with family. We were very nervous about leaving Scout, especially with a “stranger”. Well, Cindy didn’t feel like a stranger. Scout had an absolute blast. Cindy went above and beyond with our girl. Scout is a ball lover and apparently talked Cindy into playing ball a great deal. 😊. We could not have asked for better communication; we received daily updates which really put our minds at ease. We could have gone to a Rover pet sitter much closer to our home but Cindy’s reviews sold us. The reviews are not exaggerated - she is all that everyone before us has said and then some. She took care of Scout as if Scout were her own fur baby. Will be telling all of our friends about Cindy. We can’t recommend her enough - they aren’t enough stars!! Tina and Phil”

About: I've had dogs in my life for over 20 years, since I was a kid, and they've always been part of my family! I've primarily owned Boxers and, more recently, a Doberman, giving me experience with large and energetic breeds. I also completed several weeks of professional training with both dogs to become a more knowledgeable and confident owner! In addition to raising my own dogs, I've assisted with the birth of a litter and helped care for newborn puppies, giving me experience through every stage of a dog's life! I'm comfortable with dogs of all personalities and energy levels and love keeping them active with playtime, neighborhood walks, and lots of attention. I'll care for your dog with the same patience, love, and dedication that I gave my own! I work a Monday-Thursday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM in the office and Fridays from home. Before and after work, I'll make sure your dog gets plenty of attention, exercise, and potty breaks. On Fridays and weekends, I have even more flexibility to spend quality time playing, going for walks, and making sure your pup feels happy, comfortable, and well cared for! I have a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to run and play, along with a doggy door so they can let themselves out for potty breaks or some playtime whenever they want. There are also plenty of balls and toys to keep them entertained! Since I don't currently have any pets of my own, your dog will have my full attention in a calm, comfortable environment. If your dog is crate trained, I have a crate available and am happy to maintain their normal routine. Just let me know your dog's schedule, favorite activities, feeding routine, and any special instructions, and I'll do my best to keep everything as consistent as possible while you're away!

“Gissell was absolutely amazing! I just moved to the area and was heading to a family reunion when our original sitter had to cancel due to a death in the family. I was so worried about where my pups would stay, but Gissell swooped in with a quick response and immediately put my mind at ease. She treated my dogs like royalty — like they were part of her own family! They had an absolute blast, and I could tell just by how happy and relaxed they were that they truly loved being there. I will absolutely be booking with her again for all future stays. Highly, highly recommend!”

“Sayla loves every trip she has to Shannon's. She plays so hard it takes her a whole day of rest to recoup! Wonderful to have someone to trust for our girl.”
