About: Hi we are Don and Bobbi! We both have grown up around dogs our entire lives and have always been passionate about caring for animals. Between our families, we’ve had many dogs and cats over the years, giving us experience with pets of different ages, sizes, and personalities. Today, we have two dogs and a cat of our own and understand the importance of providing pets with love, attention, exercise, and a safe environment. We’ve also pet sat for friends and family and have enjoyed getting to know and care for their pets as if they were our own. We decided to join Rover because we love spending time with animals and thought it would be a fun way to help other pet owners feel confident that their pets are receiving excellent care while they’re away. We understand our profile is new with no reviews but we promise to provide exceptional care and hope to show that through reviews as we get settled on this app! Bobbi works from home Monday-Friday and Don works from home Monday and Friday. Someone will always be home to care for your animals! Our flexible schedules allow pet care to be a priority. We have a massive yard for the dogs to run around and are constantly going on leashed walks near our house. Our house is their house and we are happy to play with your pup as much as they need!

About: Over the past couple of years, I’ve had the joy of caring for family and friends dogs when needed, giving their dogs a loving home away from home. I work from home so I have flexibility of time and a lot of love to give to your furry friend! Available for boarding any day of the week. My fenced-in back yard offers a safe environment for fresh air, fun, and exercise. Dogs allowed on furniture. I have a two year old lab who loves other dogs! I can also crate if needed.

Her home is quiet and clean and checks all the boxes for dog comfort and safety. We most appreciated that she was especially accommodating when our dinner plans stretched into the late evening. About: I no longer have our own dog after losing my beautiful lab last year. I now want to be a pet sitter for cuddles and have a private home for your dogs comfort. I work full time from home and take frequent walks outside. Your pet will have constant companionship. A routine schedule is welcomed to ensure your pet stays on track! I do have a fenced yard. I do not have a crate or bedding which would need to be provided for your pet along with any necessary instructions.

About: I have had my own dogs since my early 20’s, and I’d probably have about ten more if I could. Everyone in our family has dogs, ranging from tiny Yorkipoos to big ol’ lab mixes, and I love them all! I currently have one rescue pup, Russell, who is 19 different breeds! I am patient, I don’t get grossed out easily, and I will love your pup like it’s a member of the family. My husband and I are both teachers, so we are home full-time during the summer with our two teenage kids. During the school year we work, but I’m usually home by 3:30. Our 13-year old daughter is interested in pursuing a career working with animals, so she will be assisting in the care of your pet. We have a large fenced yard and a dog-friendly house. We even have a doggie door for pups to come and go outside to the back yard as they need or want to. We have one 5-year old dog who gets along great with other pups. Usually when we dog sit, we have the visiting pup have a home base in our daughter’s room where they can be fed separately, have peace and quiet, and enjoy the best air conditioning in the house! We are a dogs on furniture house, and she even loves to let the dogs we are sitting sleep in her bed with her if they want. Your dog should expect many pets and snuggles at our house! If we are coming to your house, we will follow whatever routines and rules you’ve established for your pet. But still expect lots of love for your pet!

About: I have loved animals my entire life and have had more than one family pet from the day I was born. I worked in veterinary care for a good bit of time, and I have been trusted by many families to care for their animals while they were away on trips. I am comfortable giving medicine, working on obedience, and giving more snuggles than your pup will know what to do with. My husband works from home 3-4 days a week, so your dog would have many opportunities to go outside and to be loved on. I am available Monday through Friday for lunch time check-ins and potty breaks, and I'm available for walks after 5pm Monday through Friday. We could also accommodate over-night boarding any day of the week, as long as we do not have a previously scheduled weekend away. While I do not have a fenced in yard, our family loves to be outside and take walks as much as possible through out the day. We also have our energetic 5 year old dog, Maverick, to keep your dog company through out the day and engage in play. We have ample space in our home for a crate. Our daughter also loves to throw the ball and makes sure her puppy feels loved all the time.

About: I have my associates degree in animal sciences and have been tending to animals of all kinds since I was very young. I have experience with farms along with typical house pets. I am a stay at home mom who loves to spend her days loving on animals and enjoying nature. We go on walks and enjoy each others company! I have 1 dog at home, which can be kept separate from other pets. I have an indoor/ outdoor cat. I have an extra large crate for those in need. I have a spacious yard, and leashes for those who need them.

About: Please note we are in Troy near Zions Crossroads (about 20 minutes from downtown Charlottesville and 15 minutes from Lake Monticello). Hi, my name is Katina. I have been caring for dogs as long as I can remember. My earliest memories include setting up agility courses for my german shepherd in my backyard. To say I have a passion for dogs is an understatement. I recently quit my job to pursue dog boarding full time and I could not be more excited to spend all day with your pup(s)! We spend lots of time on play, exercise and enrichment. Our yard is set up similar to a dog park meaning we have two separate fenced areas for dogs comfort. We have one small fenced area (4ft fence) to accommodate small, elderly, timid and handicapped pups as well as a large dog park sized fenced area to accommodate more playful mid sized pups (6ft fence). We also have a whole home generator for added peace of mind. When the weather is nice we like to spend a lot of time outdoors Health and safety is our top priority. We have a zero tolerance policy for aggression. If your dog shows signs of aggression during their stay they will be quarantined for the remainder of the stay and not accepted back. In order to board with us your dog must be friendly with EVERYONE this includes children (even though none are present in the home, they do come and visit), the elderly, cats and other dogs. Please provide proof of rabies vaccination (I need a copy of the in date certificate that is signed by your veterinarian). Please ensure your dog(s) are free from fleas ticks and intestinal parasites. Our storage space is limited so please only bring food (put food in ziplock bag and write pets name on the bag) , medications/supplements, and a leash. We will provide toys, treats, bowls (we have a variety of sizes both regular and slow feeder), crates if your dog needs one and plush bedding. Please ALWAYS pack extra food. We will not be able to fulfill requests to withhold water from your dog, so if this is something you require please choose another sitter. Please provide an emergency contact who is willing to pickup your dog(s) in case of emergency. Drop-offs/Pick-ups are between 8A-8P by appointment only. Please keep pickup/drop off timeframes to a 30 minute window. Please communicate if you will be more than 15 minutes early or late for your scheduled pickup or drop off time as we may have other obligations and may not be available if you show up early or late. About: I have been a pet owner most of my adult life and grew up having dogs and cats. Currently we help take care of friends and families pets while they are away and enjoy it so much!! As of January 2025 we will have a pup of our own so any pups we watch must be good with kids and other dogs. We will be opening up dates in 2025 once our pup is fully vaccinated I work from home full time and set my own schedule so I can prioritize walks, playtime and spending quality time with your fur baby We have a very large fenced yard in a great neighborhood. We have three younger children who are excellent with all animals. We will have a pup joining us in January of 2025
