About: Hi we are Don and Bobbi! We both have grown up around dogs our entire lives and have always been passionate about caring for animals. Between our families, we’ve had many dogs and cats over the years, giving us experience with pets of different ages, sizes, and personalities. Today, we have two dogs and a cat of our own and understand the importance of providing pets with love, attention, exercise, and a safe environment. We’ve also pet sat for friends and family and have enjoyed getting to know and care for their pets as if they were our own. We decided to join Rover because we love spending time with animals and thought it would be a fun way to help other pet owners feel confident that their pets are receiving excellent care while they’re away. We understand our profile is new with no reviews but we promise to provide exceptional care and hope to show that through reviews as we get settled on this app! Bobbi works from home Monday-Friday and Don works from home Monday and Friday. Someone will always be home to care for your animals! Our flexible schedules allow pet care to be a priority. We have a massive yard for the dogs to run around and are constantly going on leashed walks near our house. Our house is their house and we are happy to play with your pup as much as they need!

About: Your dog will be treated like part of the family while you're away. I intentionally keep my numbers low so every guest receives plenty of individualized attention and supervision. I'm a homeschool mom, homemaker, and lifelong dog lover. My husband, two daughters, and three dogs make our home a fun, safe, and loving environment where someone is home most of the day. 🐾 Meet & Greets Required I require a free meet-and-greet before accepting new clients to ensure we're a great fit for each other. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! As a homemaker, I'm present for the majority of the day, which allows me to provide consistent attention, potty breaks, and playtime throughout your dog's stay. Every dog adjusts differently, and I have the ability to tailor my routine accordingly. Your dog's comfort and safety are central to how I care for every guest. I closely supervise interactions between guest and resident dogs, and I take time to understand each dog's temperament and needs before allowing unsupervised play. Meals are served separately to maintain a calm environment and avoid food-related tension. I'm happy to follow your dog's established feeding schedule, medication routine, or any additional care instructions you provide. At bedtime, I do my best to replicate your dog's normal setup, whether that's a crate, a dog bed, or another familiar arrangement, so they feel settled and secure throughout their stay.

About: Please note we are in Troy near Zions Crossroads (about 20 minutes from downtown Charlottesville and 15 minutes from Lake Monticello). Hi, my name is Katina. I have been caring for dogs as long as I can remember. My earliest memories include setting up agility courses for my german shepherd in my backyard. To say I have a passion for dogs is an understatement. I recently quit my job to pursue dog boarding full time and I could not be more excited to spend all day with your pup(s)! We spend lots of time on play, exercise and enrichment. Our yard is set up similar to a dog park meaning we have two separate fenced areas for dogs comfort. We have one small fenced area (4ft fence) to accommodate small, elderly, timid and handicapped pups as well as a large dog park sized fenced area to accommodate more playful mid sized pups (6ft fence). We also have a whole home generator for added peace of mind. When the weather is nice we like to spend a lot of time outdoors Health and safety is our top priority. We have a zero tolerance policy for aggression. If your dog shows signs of aggression during their stay they will be quarantined for the remainder of the stay and not accepted back. In order to board with us your dog must be friendly with EVERYONE this includes children (even though none are present in the home, they do come and visit), the elderly, cats and other dogs. Please provide proof of rabies vaccination (I need a copy of the in date certificate that is signed by your veterinarian). Please ensure your dog(s) are free from fleas ticks and intestinal parasites. Our storage space is limited so please only bring food (put food in ziplock bag and write pets name on the bag) , medications/supplements, and a leash. We will provide toys, treats, bowls (we have a variety of sizes both regular and slow feeder), crates if your dog needs one and plush bedding. Please ALWAYS pack extra food. We will not be able to fulfill requests to withhold water from your dog, so if this is something you require please choose another sitter. Please provide an emergency contact who is willing to pickup your dog(s) in case of emergency. Drop-offs/Pick-ups are between 8A-8P by appointment only. Please keep pickup/drop off timeframes to a 30 minute window. Please communicate if you will be more than 15 minutes early or late for your scheduled pickup or drop off time as we may have other obligations and may not be available if you show up early or late. About: I have had pets my whole life and enjoy playing and socializing with them. I have walked other peoples dogs and taken care of friends and neighbors cats. I'm currently working part-time so I'll have plenty of time to take care of your pets needs. I have a very flexible schedule. And I can work around your needs. I have a fenced in yard and I have a cat that is used to being around a dog. I love to go on walks and to be outside so I can go on lots of short walks or long walks, whatever is needed. We can run in the backyard off leash if that is preferred.

About: I no longer have our own dog after losing my beautiful lab last year. I now want to be a pet sitter for cuddles and have a private home for your dogs comfort. I work full time from home and take frequent walks outside. Your pet will have constant companionship. A routine schedule is welcomed to ensure your pet stays on track! I do have a fenced yard. I do not have a crate or bedding which would need to be provided for your pet along with any necessary instructions.

About: I have cared for/worked with 1,000s of dogs over 10+ years across all breeds, ages, and behavioral issues. I managed a dog facility for several years, have worked in multiple other dog facilities. I have taken K9 CPR/First Aid and very knowledgeable on K9 behavior and physical well being. I have trained 100s of dogs in my lifetime. Your dog could not be in better hands. :) I stay home full time so your pet would have 100% of my time and attention! I can be flexible to you and your pets needs! I have very friendly dogs to keep your pup company! If your dog isn’t much of a playful type - that’s okay too! My dogs do not harass and have great social manners. I have a crate I can offer at your request and I am very experienced with dog safety and K9 cpr. When going on walks I ALWAYS check the dogs collar and leash before leaving the house to be sure everything is appropriately secure. I always make sure I watch any dogs before I open doors to be sure no one runs out! My experience with K9 behavior allows me to catch a bad thing before it happens!

“Tina was so wonderful! I was a bit nervous going in as this was the first time I was leaving my 8 month old puppy with someone that I did not know. We set up a meet and greet during which my pup, Maizy displayed some anxiety, but Tina was not deterred. She knew Maizy needed to warm up at her pace and she got some treats right away to help build up some trust! She sent pictures and really helped me feel at ease that Maizy was well cared for! There was even a storm that rolled by which Maizy is terrified of thunder and Tina helped her feel safe! I would definitely book with her again should we need it!”

About: I have had my own dogs since my early 20’s, and I’d probably have about ten more if I could. Everyone in our family has dogs, ranging from tiny Yorkipoos to big ol’ lab mixes, and I love them all! I currently have one rescue pup, Russell, who is 19 different breeds! I am patient, I don’t get grossed out easily, and I will love your pup like it’s a member of the family. My husband and I are both teachers, so we are home full-time during the summer with our two teenage kids. During the school year we work, but I’m usually home by 3:30. Our 13-year old daughter is interested in pursuing a career working with animals, so she will be assisting in the care of your pet. We have a large fenced yard and a dog-friendly house. We even have a doggie door for pups to come and go outside to the back yard as they need or want to. We have one 5-year old dog who gets along great with other pups. Usually when we dog sit, we have the visiting pup have a home base in our daughter’s room where they can be fed separately, have peace and quiet, and enjoy the best air conditioning in the house! We are a dogs on furniture house, and she even loves to let the dogs we are sitting sleep in her bed with her if they want. Your dog should expect many pets and snuggles at our house! If we are coming to your house, we will follow whatever routines and rules you’ve established for your pet. But still expect lots of love for your pet!

About: I’ve always had dogs and cats since I was a kiddo. Currently we have one senior mostly deaf and going blind dog and a sweet cat. I previously took my dog on a mile or two walk every day. Currently, he just walks in our culdesac. I started my own pet sitting business in my 20’s after working for a small pet company. I also was working FT with adults with disabilities. I have cared for a wide variety of animals even giving a diabetic cat shots and caring for a blind and a deaf dog. I’ve also had the opportunity to take care of rabbits, birds and even a very social ferret. Once I became busy raising my own family, I stopped working FT but continued watching friends’ and neighbors’ animals on the side. I’m the type of person who stops to pet other people’s dogs when I’m out on a walk. ❤️ My husband and I have 5 kids, two of which live at home. I’m also a grandma with two grandsons! As a family we’ve always had cats and dogs as well as guinea pigs, gerbils, a turtle and a lizard over the years. I’m currently working very part-time so have lots of time to love on your animals. I’m available most days and on the weekends as well. I love walking in all kinds of weather and would love to have a pooch or two walk with me. I’d love to walk your dogs and/or play with them in your backyard and hang out with them while you’re away. I also would love to give your kitties lots of attention.

About: I have loved animals my entire life and have had more than one family pet from the day I was born. I worked in veterinary care for a good bit of time, and I have been trusted by many families to care for their animals while they were away on trips. I am comfortable giving medicine, working on obedience, and giving more snuggles than your pup will know what to do with. My husband works from home 3-4 days a week, so your dog would have many opportunities to go outside and to be loved on. I am available Monday through Friday for lunch time check-ins and potty breaks, and I'm available for walks after 5pm Monday through Friday. We could also accommodate over-night boarding any day of the week, as long as we do not have a previously scheduled weekend away. While I do not have a fenced in yard, our family loves to be outside and take walks as much as possible through out the day. We also have our energetic 5 year old dog, Maverick, to keep your dog company through out the day and engage in play. We have ample space in our home for a crate. Our daughter also loves to throw the ball and makes sure her puppy feels loved all the time.
