“Zach was amazing with Salehe. He was an excellent communicator through the whole process. He took great care of my puppy. From the pics he took, Salehe loved his visits with Zach. I highly recommend Zach.”
2. PC & Will H.
“They are so caring and patient. My dog can be shy around unknown people and environments and they took the extra mile to let her ease in and get comfortable. Loved receiving all the pictures and videos of her stay. Can't wait for our next visit! Thank you so much for your care.”
3. Jenna C.
“Best dog sitter ever! She came and got my beagle, and sent me regular updates of their time together! Jenna is friendly and professional....I highly recommend her....and we'll be using her again.”
4. Lori N.
“Lori and her husband were kind enough to watch my two fur babies, Sammy & Sylvie, in a pinch. My pups adore them & we are so grateful that they are in great hands every time. Thank you so much Lori!”
5. Ramiza R.
“She was amazing letting me know how my puppy was doing each day. I felt like she cared for my girl just like I would which made the experience even better. We will be using Ramiza for the next few weeks.”
6. Denton & Elizabeth W.
“We requested Elizabeth and Denton’s assistance with a doggy daycare day for our two dogs. They were very responsive and flexible to coordinate with and gave us opportunities to communicate early on. From how it was described, our dogs had a separate space away from other animals and beds to rest on (my husband did drop off). I like that because you never know how your dog will act in a new environment. They sent us photos and updates throughout the stay. We would gladly rebook services with them in the future.”
7. Andreea M.
“Zadie enjoyed her day stay at Andreea's today. The shady back yard was a perfect exercise spot in this hot, muggy Richmond weather. Andreea let me know via message that Zadie wasn't so interested in her food, which she made up for when she returned home! Guess she was having too much fun interacting with Andreea's two pups to think about eating. Smooth booking, arrival and departure.”
8. Paula W.
“Paula is amazing! Our pups love spending time with her and her crew!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats for over 20 years, pets are my passion! I am also a former Petshotel and Doggie Day Camp Manager for a national chain and have extensive experience handling dogs, cats, and small pets of all sizes and breeds. I am currently accepting small and medium sized dogs for in house day care and overnight stays. I specialize in small and delicate breed types, not usually suited for kenneling or vet boarding. All fur babies will be treated as family members while here! They can sit on the couch, sleep on the bed, and watch TV with us just like at home. Some larger "gentle giants" can be considered on a case by case basis, just reach out. I believe pets are family! All pets in my care are treated with loving and gentle guidance using only positive reinforcement. All dogs will remain on leash the entirety of their walk. We have a fenced in area off the back patio for bathroom breaks with wood chips as ground coverage. No grass of any kind for the safety of those pets with grass and skin allergies.
10. Krista R.
“Krista is the most loving person I have ever met in my life. I’ve watched her take care or multiple puppies. From large dogs to small dogs. She has even taken my puppy out while I was away for business. She smiles all the time and is very friendly. She would be very helpful to any one in need of a dog sitter !”
11. Heather N.
“Heather and her beautiful family have been a wonderful fit for Finnegan and I. They are really flexible and accommodating and their home environment is safe and fun for Finn who gets to play w/ her wonderful kids and pups! I highly recommend her services.”
12. Kelly S.
“I have been taking my puppy (9 weeks now) to daycare with Kelly for almost two weeks now. She sends me updates if she has a concern and also pictures of how he is doing during the day. Nimbus seems to love her because he knows where to run to as soon as I get him out of the car. She is flexible with timings and is very accommodating with specific requests.”

About: I can't promise your pet(s) won't be spoiled! One level home with two live-in playmates, our 17 year old corgi, Bridget, and Dora, a 15 year old, sweet old aussie shepherd. I am retired and dogs are my passion. I am located in the George's Tavern area of Goochland. I am usually home daily. My schedule is flexible. We have a very large fenced yard. Your dog(s) will have room to explore inside and out. We can discuss any special needs. I have experience with all shapes, sizes and breeds, however, as much as I love them, I cannot handle bigger and stronger breeds; i.e., American bull dogs, pit bulls, great danes and German shepherds to name a few. Your dogs are my daily priority. I can schedule any time daily and I am open to a long-term boarding commitment when I am available. I have an additional smaller fenced area for smaller dogs and puppies. I have customers that found me through other avenues, and have outstanding reviews as I appear to have become Grandma to them. All will provide references. I give lots of time and attention to all dogs giving special loving attention to the aging beauties. They all need lots of love and often need special care.
14. Tina P.
“Tina was so wonderful! I was a bit nervous going in as this was the first time I was leaving my 8 month old puppy with someone that I did not know. We set up a meet and greet during which my pup, Maizy displayed some anxiety, but Tina was not deterred. She knew Maizy needed to warm up at her pace and she got some treats right away to help build up some trust! She sent pictures and really helped me feel at ease that Maizy was well cared for! There was even a storm that rolled by which Maizy is terrified of thunder and Tina helped her feel safe! I would definitely book with her again should we need it!”

16. Tamara T.
“I've known Tamara Tinsley since she was just a little girl. Ive watched her over the years blossom into a beautiful young mother. The one constant over the years has been her love for fur babies, dogs especially. What's so special about Tamara and her love for dogs is that she doesn't see them as animals. She sees them as little people trapped inside the body of a dog. You won't find a more caring, attentive and nurturing dog lover on this planet. I was in a situation where I was no longer able to provide the love and attention that my senior dog needed. What did Tamara do? She did a trial run by keeping my dog for two weeks to see how she would fit in with the rest of her "pack." After two weeks, we brought her back home. And when it was time for Tamara to leave, my dog didn't hesitate to follow her out the door and jump into the car with her. God worked it all out. To this day, my senior fur baby resides at Tamara's house. She has even opened her home to me, when I'm in the area, so that I can drop in for Fur Baby visitation. She is great with all dogs! She never meets a stranger, when it comes to dogs! And she will love your dog, the way you love your dog! Becky Shaver”
17. Heather C.
“Dear reader, My Jake loves Miss Heather and gets super excited when she comes to care for him! She sends me a report with pictures to keep me closely updated on his demeanor, potty breaks, water and snacks for the visit. She is amazing with my last minute needs of making a same day appointment due to unexpected events that happen naturally. She was also there for me when I needed her @ 9/10pm on a Saturday night so I could go out of town to visit my daughter. She also was very professional when I needed help with my invoice and called her well past any banking hours! Yes, she is wonderful and I will continue to call upon her for all of our dogs needs. Heather, thank you for being fabulous!! I can’t see the star button but you’re a 10 out of 5 🥰🥰 Sincerely, Crystal”
18. Dae'Twan S.
“Daetwan has always had a passion for caring for animals every since he was a young kid. He takes really good care of his pets as if they are human family members. He is also the best uncle to my teenage boys, he teaches them something new and positive every time they hang out with him. Daetwan is one of the most outstanding, respectable men I know.”

About: I'm a second generation dog sitter who started young; at the age of 6, I was going with my mom to her many pet sitting gigs. Now, I'm an independent pet sitter who has a ton of free time to hang out with your furbabies! My professional sitting experience includes the past 7 years of dedicated service to clients in Chesterfield, as well as the surrounding area. (References available! :) ) I'm willing to travel up to 60-75 miles from my home here in Powhatan, and I'm comfortable with any breed and size of dog, as well as cats, reptiles, and farm animals. I have experience administering medication, as well as handling special needs dogs. I'm usually available on short term notice, and can do late night and weekend visits. I SPECIALIZE IN FARM SITTING! :) DAYCARE/BOARDING GUESTS: just a heads up, we do have livestock on the property, as well as working dogs.:) Hope to hear from you soon! I work from home, so pet care fits into my routine really well. I’m not in meetings or anything all day, so my routine revolves around your pet’s schedule. :) I treat my clients’ homes with respect and care, just as I do my own home. I’ll clean up any messes your pet might make, as well as keep the home the way it was or better while you’re away.
