“I am so thrilled to have found Judy!! I've had Shilo stay with Judy and her husband a few times now and I couldn't be happier. Shilo loves to run and the large fenced in backyard is perfect. Judy's dog, Rosie is sweet and welcoming. The updates and photos are great and relieves any worry or stress that I may have had!!! When it comes time for pick up, although Shilo appears to be happy to see me she also seems quite content to stay with judy....which is a really good sign!!”

About: I've owned and cared for animals since high school. In addition to dogs and cats, I've owned horses since I was 16. I have been\am a foster parent for the Animal Rescue League of Boston since 2020. I'm a former puppy foster for service dogs and participated with early puppy training. I have carried those skills over to training other foster puppies and my personal dog. I have a medical background (EMT) and my daughter is a Vet Tech so I am very comfortable working with animals with medical needs and will follow any required medical plan. In addition to dogs and cats, I'd love to meet\care for your backyard farm animals; horses, pot-bellied pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, etc. I have experience with some of these animals through ownership and fostering opportunities. I'm open to meeting and learning about new friends. We currently have 4 dogs, 4 cats, and 2 horses in our home. All our animals are our babies and I'll care for yours as if they were my own. I'm currently working 6:30am-12pm, M-F (sometimes Saturday, 7am-12pm). I'm available for drop-in visits any day of the week, after 12pm and on the weekends. I can house sit during the week as long as your pet doesn't mind an early morning! 🙂. Boarding in my home is restricted to cats or other small animals. Puppies (under 1 year) may be accomodated, no adult dogs. For cats; we have a dedicated "cat room" to keep your pet separated from our pets. The room has a screen door so they don't feel locked away and can be part of our household while remaining safe. I will follow your pet care plan while in your home. For Puppies; all dogs are fed separately to avoid food aggression situations. All puppies will be crated for meals and sleeping overnight. If your puppy is not crate trained, I will work with them to ensure they are comfortable and not afraid. I can support your potty training schedule to maintain consistency.

“Pumba stayed with them for over a week and had a blast. We got regular updates and very cute pictures of Pumba and all of his friends. Their yard is huge and a dogs dream and I’m sure Pumba can’t wait to go back!”

I provided some written info about my dog’s routines with feeding, meds etc that Pat was attentive to. My dog loved staying at Pat’s home, especially lying in the sunshine napping! I knew she was in good hands during the three days away, which allowed me to have a great trip. Pat’s husband was also very nice and my pup loved him too. I got a photo update each morning with a text about what Pat & my dog had been up to together. The one time my dog exhibited an unusual behavior (just instinctively trying to cover her food to save it for later!), Pat sent me a quick video to ask about it, which made me feel good about the care my dog was receiving. Overall I was totally happy with our experience having Pat petsit. We look forward to using her when I have to travel again soon and I recommend her without reservation. Thanks very much Pat!”
