“Emily took great care of my pug Forrest. She sent many messages and pictures daily showing how he was enjoying his stay with her and her family. He enjoyed himself so much that he was reluctant to leave when I arrived to pick him up him up, literally hiding behind Emily so I wouldn’t pick him up. I will definitely use Emily again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great family home environment for their pet when away. A+, 5-stars.”

“Judy was awesome with my dog, Cody! Her upbeat personality and love of dogs was so evident- and my dog really enjoyed her yard- he kept running in circles! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay- I definitely hope to book with Judy again!”

“Kourtney was great with our pup, Carl. Carl is an energetic guy and Kourtney provided all that he needed in his 9 day stay. Kourtney’s communication with us before and during his stay was professional and timely. We would use Kourtney’s services again 💯.”

“We have used luiz and his beautiful family for several doggy day care options but this was the first time they boarded walter for us. Walter is a young man with an abundance of energy and they made sure he had plenty of play time and also rest time. I really appreciated the pictures and videos I was sent throughout the day as it really helps ease my mind being away from my babies! Will definitely use him again!!”

“Was very communicative and great with my dog. Took blue on multiple runs and hour long walks, which really helps her when she’s feeling anxious away from home. Would definitely recommend.”

“Phil is awesome! This was the second time our boy Boggs stayed with him and it was hard to get him to leave. The regular pictures helped us know he was happy while we were away and we (our dog included) look forward to the next time.”

About: I have spent my entire life around animals so caring for them has always come naturally to me. I grew up in a household with over 40 animals, including dogs, cats, and exotic pets. I have spent years working in a small locally owned pet store in my home town taking care of exotics, before moving into kennel work at a vet’s office. I have experience in giving medications to dogs and cats in different methods, and monitoring their health afterwards. My primary role was offering our boarding pets the comfort of a home away from home. I’m a reptile dad every day, taking care of my own snake and bearded dragon babies. I’m currently home every day with time and love to give to other pets and their people who need an extra hand. I have a big room with a comfy bed that they can lay on in a nice couch that we can sit and watch shows on. I also have a fenced in yard outback that I can take them in to play, but I have a spacious cemetery up and across the street that is great for leash walks as well. I also have various toys and litter boxes as well.
“Roxy had a great time with Jacquie’s pups and another one who was staying with her for the weekend. She clearly takes great care of them, getting outside a lot despite the snow and appreciating Roxy’s affectionate ways <3”

“Melissa did a great job taking care of yummy! We had a two-week extended stay. She shared photo updates regularly and flags issues proactively. Would recommend to anyone.”

“I recommend her; she's very communicative and loving, and that's how she was with Tonka. She kept me updated throughout his stay, letting me know how Tonka was doing and sharing photos. I always knew how he was doing, and she always answered my messages.”

About: I've owned and cared for animals since high school. In addition to dogs and cats, I've owned horses since I was 16. I have been\am a foster parent for the Animal Rescue League of Boston since 2020. I'm a former puppy foster for service dogs and participated with early puppy training. I have carried those skills over to training other foster puppies and my personal dog. I have a medical background (EMT) and my daughter is a Vet Tech so I am very comfortable working with animals with medical needs and will follow any required medical plan. In addition to dogs and cats, I'd love to meet\care for your backyard farm animals; horses, pot-bellied pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, etc. I have experience with some of these animals through ownership and fostering opportunities. I'm open to meeting and learning about new friends. We currently have 4 dogs, 4 cats, and 2 horses in our home. All our animals are our babies and I'll care for yours as if they were my own. I'm currently unemployed so I'll have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I'm available for petsitting any day of the week and can work around any personal appointments. Boarding in my home is restricted to cats or other small animals. Puppies (under 1 year) may be accomodated, no adult dogs. For cats; we have a dedicated "cat room" to keep your pet separated from our pets. The room has a screen door so they don't feel locked away and can be part of our household while remaining safe. I will follow your pet care plan while in your home. For Puppies; all dogs are fed separately to avoid food aggression situations. All puppies will be crated for meals and sleeping overnight. If your puppy is not crate trained, I will work with them to ensure they are comfortable and not afraid. I can support your potty training schedule to maintain consistency.
“Would not hesitate to bring our pup to Briana, ever. She takes good care of him and sends updates along the way to put your mind at ease. Highly recommend. Thanks Briana!”

“If our dog had her way, she'd go to Paul's every day. She had so much fun during her stay, she had the biggest smile on her face in every picture Paul sent us! Paul is so incredibly nice and clearly cares for each and every animal that comes into his home. We can't thank Paul enough for giving our girl one of the best weekends ever!”

“Melissa and her family were amazing hosts for our dog. Koe loves to be busy and this was the perfect house for him. We got lots of pictures and updates throughout the weekend and know he had a great time getting lots of activity, attention and love. We will definitely be rebooking!”

“My dog Simba spent his Thanksgiving with Gabriel. He is a male Golden Retriever, two and half years old. He needs a lot of exercise. He never lived anywhere before. I was very worried before leaving Simba with Gabriel. But he had a wonderful experience. He played a lot with other dogs, came home calm and relaxed. Gabriel has a good understanding of dogs and very confident. I am definitely coming back again.”

“My dog is older and has a lot of separation anxiety but he immediately warmed up to Ying Ying. He had a great time and we appreciated the updates throughout the week while he was being watched :-)”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Westminster
If there were a rating higher than five stars, Emerald would unequivocally deserve every single one of them. To call Emerald a pet sitter feels like a profound understatement; they are an absolute godsend, a true animal whisperer, and a virtuoso of compassionate care. Leaving our home and our beloved furry family members has always been a source of anxiety for my wife, the kids, and me, but the moment we left our dog Rowdy with Emerald, that apprehension completely evaporated into thin air. From our very first encounter, it was radiantly clear that she possesses a rare, deep-seated passion for animals that transcends the typical pet-sitting service. They didn't just ask the standard logistical questions about feeding schedules and routines; they took the time to intimately understand our dogs unique quirks, distinct personalities, and favorite scratch spots. While we were away, the level of communication we received was nothing short of spectacular. We were treated to a daily symphony of vibrant, joyful photos, delightful videos, and incredibly detailed, heartwarming updates. Seeing Rowdy looking so overwhelmingly happy, playfully engaged, and thoroughly pampered brought us an indescribable peace of mind. It was abundantly obvious that our pets weren't just surviving our absence—they were thriving, bathed in affection, endless playtime, and genuine love. Returning home was the ultimate testament to Emerald's stellar professionalism and unmatched dedication. Not only did we find a happy dog, but we were greeted by profoundly calm, content, and stress-free pet. There was no sulking or frantic, anxious energy—just the serene satisfaction of animals who had been treated like absolute royalty while we were gone. If you are fiercely protective of your pets and demand nothing but the absolute pinnacle of care, look no further. Emerald is a rare gem in the world of pet care—trustworthy, relentlessly responsible, and deeply empathetic. We have absolutely found our forever pet sitter, and we could not be more profoundly grateful!
Emerald was so good to my pug he didn’t seem to want to leave. On my week long trip I was sent pictures of him having fun outside, getting along with her dog and just relaxing in the sun. Very friendly couple who I can’t recommend enough. I will not hesitate to use her again. Great people.
