I was honestly very anxious leaving Paco for the first time with someone I didn’t personally know. He’s a big dog and can be intimidating at first, even though he’s truly just a big fluff ball. From the very beginning, they were incredibly patient—not just with Paco, but with me as well. I asked a million questions and checked in often, and they were always kind, responsive, and reassuring. They kept me updated throughout the day with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It’s clear they genuinely care about the dogs they look after, and Paco was in great hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and attentive dog sitters.

Shae’s first time ever being at a Day Care ever, Melissa had to go way beyond the required to get her under control with the other dogs. She was totally out of control, barking, until Melissa got her to calm down and socialize with the others. I’m so thankful. Hopefully, Shae can make friends. I will send her again and see how it goes.

We are on vacation from Maryland and wanted to spend a day snorkeling and going to the Everglades Nathalia was great! We booked two days before Summer stayed for daycare. Summer is not friendly with other dogs so she made sure Summer was the only dog attending that day. Very kind and considerate and sent me pictures when I requested them 💗 Summer came out happy to see us, and she wasn’t panicking, that’s how I knew she took good care of my little dog!

Casey was absolutely phenomenal watching our boxer, Matzah, this past weekend. From the moment we met her, it was clear how caring, responsible, and attentive she is with dogs. Matzah came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for, which says everything, especially with a boxer’s energy level! Casey kept us updated, made us feel completely comfortable while we were out and treated Matzah like her own. It’s not easy finding someone you fully trust with your dog, and we would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for exceptional doggie daycare or pet care. We’ll absolutely be using her again!

Christine's home environment seems very nice, and she and her children are welcoming. It was evident Fitz enjoyed himself. And got a walk, to boot--which he dearly loves. The sniffs are like reading the daily newspaper (for dogs). We plan to book Christine again, including for boarding.

About: Animal lover, pet-less at the moment, but with lots of animals in my life. I have plenty of love, patience, cuddles, and care to give to your furry family member, big or small. I know how important and stressful finding a reliable place or a trustworthy person is. For over 20 years now neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to take care of their beloved pets at their house or mine. I have a very welcoming home with couches to surf, plenty of laps to sit on, lots of treats(or not), walks and playtime. My backyard is enclosed and the community has lots of green areas, several parks, fun walks and a dog park just a car ride away. I don’t mind traveling. I have taken care of two potbelly pigs, two donkeys, a squirrel, and two cats up in Archer, FL. Five cats and an African Gray parrot in Orlando. Several cats and dogs at their homes and mine, and whenever I can, I escape to my friend’s farm to help with the care of their horses. My grand-dog, April, loves to visit and get spoiled! Give me the opportunity to show you how well and at home your baby will feel! I work part-time from home so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for boarding 7 days a week. I set up beds in the living room and in my office. I also do pottery, and I have my wheel in an enclosed patio with a rug right next to it for my special helpers! I do a walk in the morning and another one about an hour after breakfast followed by some playtime. Then I do bathroom breaks every two hours or as needed. After noon, I work on my pottery and do some gardening in my fenced backyard. Rest assured your pet will never be outside unsupervised. Late afternoon I take them for a longer walk, a bathroom break after dinner, and again before bed. I make sure your baby is active and well exercised, with plenty of time for play, rest, and cuddles! And of course, I will also follow any schedule or routine they may have. I have a pet friendly home with an enclosed patio and fenced backyard, but rest assured your pup will never be left outside unsupervised. Your pet is welcomed on our couches, our laps, and any part of the house they wish to be in. If I have to go out, and no one else is home, I will leave the TV on with relaxing music or pet friendly content playing. I don’t own a crate, but you’re welcome to bring one if your baby is used to staying or sleeping in one. They are welcome to sleep in any of our bedrooms. I usually don’t allow them on my bed but my daughter will be ever so happy to oblige! If I’m caring for your beloved at your home, I will follow any rules you have set up for them, even sleeping with them if necessary!

No worries if your little one takes medicine, she made sure of that too! Oreo loved staying with her. I will absolutely be coming back.

About: I have been around animals all my life. I grew up in a home where animals are treated like family. You have to show them TLC. I currently have five dogs and five cats at home. The majority of them are rescues. I have rescued many animals and foster them until i find a home for them. I am great with any animal and know how to take care of them in any certain situation. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate quality time to the pets in my care. Whether it's a walk, a drop-in visit, or an overnight stay, I make sure each pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while maintaining their normal routine. I care for every pet as if they were my own. I follow each pet's normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any special instructions from the owner. My goal is to help pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their environment clean and reducing stress during their owner's absence.

About: Hi! My name is Laritza and caring for animals has always been my passion. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats and I truly treat every pet as if they were part of my own family. I currently spend most of my time at home with my baby, which allows me to provide a calm and loving environment where pets receive lots of attention, supervision, and affection throughout the day. Because I’m home most of the time, pets are rarely left alone and can feel comfortable and safe. I live in a safe condominium with nice areas for walking dogs and I also have a small fenced patio where pets can safely enjoy fresh air. I always make sure every pet follows their usual routine, including walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and lots of love. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I always keep owners updated with messages and photos so you can feel relaxed knowing your furry friend is in good hands. My goal is simple: to make your pet feel happy, safe, and loved while you are away. I currently spend most of my time at home, which allows me to provide constant attention and care for the pets I look after. I also have a baby, which means I naturally maintain a calm and home-centered routine. This is actually a positive environment for pets because they receive plenty of company and supervision throughout the day. I always make sure pets get their walks, playtime, and the attention they need. If needed, I also have family support to help with childcare so I can fully focus on walks or specific pet needs. My schedule is flexible, and I always adapt to each pet’s routine to make them feel comfortable and safe. I live in a safe and peaceful condominium with several areas perfect for walking dogs. I also have a small fenced patio where pets can safely enjoy fresh air. My home is calm, clean, and pet-friendly. Because I spend most of my time at home caring for my baby, pets are rarely left alone and receive lots of supervision, love, and attention. I always prioritize safety, following each owner’s instructions carefully and making sure every pet feels relaxed and cared for as if they were at home.

About: I have fostered dogs all throughout college. I recently adopted a dog that I previously fostered. I am good with helping anxious dogs socialize and feel comfortable with other dogs as well as people. I will take your dog to parks and help them with any medical needs - I have experience in that too! I am comfortable with both house sitting as well as pet boarding. I am willing to be flexible with scheduling and pricing depending on the days requested and distance needed to be traveled. I also have a good relationship with my local veterinarian and will be able to provide emergency care for your pet if needed. I want you and your pet to be happy and at peace when you they are under my care. I am currently working from home, so I can dedicate time and attention to all your pet's needs! I enjoy taking frequent breaks to take care of my mental and physical health and will be able to do the same for you pets :) I have a fenced backyard for safety. Additionally, plenty of dog beds and toys for your pet's comfort. I am also a very vigilant dog walker due to my own dog being anxious around other dogs. I will make sure that your dog's safety is always my priority.

Jonathan showed my puppy Niko a lot of love and care, and Niko was super comfortable with him start to finish. Niko was calm with Jonathan the moment they met, which was amazing. Despite it being Niko's first time ever with someone looking after him, he was really happy and I can't wait for more stays with Jonathan!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Princeton on Rover is $27.75 per day (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of August 2026, there are 2,146 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Princeton. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Princeton commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,146 sitters in Princeton, 89% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
