About: I have been professionally pet and house sitting since I was 16, but have taken care of animals almost all my life. Some of the animals I’ve personally had the pleasure to own have been a turtle, fish, a hamster, cat, and dogs. Most of my experience is with dogs, ranging from 3 month puppies to 16 year old gray faced seniors that have special needs. I’m comfortable administering medications, following detailed feeding schedules, and giving the necessary patience and attention to animals who need additional assistance. My schedule is flexible throughout the week and weekend, so your pets will get the best companionship, supervision, and care I can give. I will respond as soon as I can with any inquiries or concerns. I provide respectful, attentive care for both pets and homes. Whether it’s playtime, potty breaks, feeding, or simply relaxing together, your pet will be supervised and well cared for. I also take pride in keeping homes clean, organized, and well maintained, so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
“Thank you so much!!!!! Nathalia was wondering to Breezah and we are so thankful for her services as she made our trip wonderful with knowing our dog was in good hands.”

“Melissa is amazing! First time meeting my dog she immediately knew what to do and how to get him to listen to her. I was very impressed as he's a big, energetic dog. Will definitely be booking her services again. Highly recommend.”

About: I treat all the doggies with the utmost care. Their parents go on vacation and so I make their stay just as FUN! I have cared for senior dogs and I know they need extra TLC! I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play with the pups and give them my undivided attention. My schedule is pretty flexible right now. I will advise if anything changes. In my home I have a fenced in backyard where they can run around and play. I also have a friendly Golden Retriever who loves to make new friends
“Marbely is wonderful with Rex he loves her very much and she gives him so much love and affection along with loving attention We love her and will always request her for talking fantastic care of our REX”

About: (just reactivated my account in 2026, new to Miami) I have volunteered and trained 3+ yrs in professional wildlife animal and rescue care. 14+yrs of raising my scrappy little Chihuahua, Cloe. 2+yrs with our rescue , Pongo. Attention to detail for each animal in my care. I prefer to be SMOTHERED in dog kisses. All dogs are allowed on the couch, bed, or any area in the house. Comfortable with simple grooming. I love to send 1 or 2 puppy pics per day. I also try to make sure your doggy feels like they are receiving a spa-get away. We will exercise in the attached "Bark Park" if weather permits; and we will definitely indulge in a night-night massage. I am comfortable grooming, brushing, bathing, administering medication, or tending to a dog on their old age . I believe that attention to detail and a warm heart are my greatest strengths. My apt is attached to a "bark park" for daily exercise. All doggys have free roam of my house. Dogs are allowed on the sofa and in bed for snuggles. I live to love all animals like Steve Irwin.
About: I have many years of experience caring for dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments. Friends, neighbors, and family rely on me to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets. I am also experienced in administering basic medications and always handle every pet with patience, care, and love, as if they were my own family. My schedule is flexible, enabling me to dedicate ample attention to pets throughout the day. I thoughtfully organize my routine to cater to each pet’s needs, covering feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions from the owner. I focus on safety and diligently follow each pet’s routine. I keep a clean, peaceful environment, supervise pets constantly, and stick to house rules. I stay in regular contact and make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after.
About: We have 5 animals in the house, we’ve had them since they were puppies and all get along and friendly towards other people and animals. I work from home and take the pups out 5 times a day. Can take them out more if a pup has a weaker bladder. I usually take mine out at the same time but have enough time in the day to take your pup out individually. Everyone really lounges at home while I work or go out but my boy loves to play so we have best of both worlds and doggie beds all over the house if they’re tired or can play in the back yard.
“amazing!! highly recommend. kiara is super reliable, kind, and caring. there isn’t a day that goes by that she doesn’t keep me updated on how my pup is doing. a dog walker is one thing but someone who loves for your dog is another. kiara is all that and more!”
About: My first vote was when I was 10, and from that moment on I knew I would love her. My neighbors were always asking me to feed their furry friends and take them for walks. They would say, "There goes the girl and her dogs." I have now left my old job as a Medical Assistant because I have always dreamed of getting more involved with furry animals, I think I was born for them and I feel I have a deep connection with them. I have a large, spacious, fenced and secure yard. I also have three adorable dogs that will keep your furry friend company at all times.
“Iliana went above and beyond for my dog Susie while I was out of town! She spent so much extra time with her! Iliana kept me updated the entire time and sent me so many pictures and updates on how Susie was doing. Iliana provided excellent care and when I was picking Susie she did not seem to want to leave Iliana! She even left Susie with a little goodie bag, I cannot say enough good things about Iliana and would love for her to care for Susie whenever I need a dog sitter again!”

About: I’ve always loved being around animals and making them feel safe and comfortable. I’m very patient, dependable, and attentive to each pet’s personality and needs. I have experience caring for puppies, older dogs, and pets that need extra attention or medication. I treat every pet like they’re my own and always make sure they get lots of love, playtime, and care while their owners are away. I’m currently unemployed so, I’m free anytime Monday-Friday. I can also do the weekends from 8am-1pm or 2pm-7pm. I’m open to any more flexible hours! I make sure pets are always in a safe, clean, and stress-free environment. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special instructions from owners. I’m very careful during walks and outdoor time, and I always make sure pets feel comfortable, loved, and secure in both my home and the client’s home.
“Laura was great with my big dog. He's a block head Rottweiler .... big but as sweet as honey and he fell for Laura immediately. Dogs know good people, and he liked her. Highly recommended for your big dog!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
