“Camille and her family are the absolute best! Camille is very attentive and constantly shared pictures and updates of my dogs. She pays special attention to your dogs routine and goes an extra step and puts an air tag on them in case anything happens. Her house is spacious with a fenced in backyard. I highly recommend her!”

“We left our 3 golden retrievers with Alexis and believe me, they are a handful. We received multiple pictures of their activities daily and great communication from her, so that we had some laughs while we were away looking at the pictures, and feeling comfortable that they were having as good a time as we were while away. Definately using her again, we've already booked our next stay!”

““I recently had my dog stay with Mia, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. My pup came home happy and relaxed, and it was clear that he was well cared for. Mia was super communicative, sent plenty of photo updates, and made sure I knew how my dog was doing each day. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter!””

“Ynes was amazing with Boogie and Randy during the days we were away. She took such great care of them, kept us updated, sent pictures and videos, and clearly treated them with a lot of love and patience. We came back to two very happy and well cared doggies. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her”

“Thank you once again, Jonathan, for taking care of my dogs. This is the third time I’ve trusted you, and I always feel confident leaving them with you. I truly appreciate your kindness with my dogs and the peace of mind you give me knowing they’re in good hands. See you again soon!”

“Samantha was wonderful with our princess moka, she was very attentive of our questions and sent us pictures and kept us updated. She made us at easy knowing our princess was well taken care of. We will Definitely contact Samantha again!”

“Anelys was absolutely fantastic. This was my first time using the service and one of the reasons I selected her was because I noticed a good amount of repeat clients. From my first interaction, she was so welcoming and enthusiastic about keeping my fur baby. She sent me pictures throughout the booking to let me know that Smoke was doing great. I am so happy that I found her and I look forward to booking with her again in the future.”

“Daysy was so pleasant such a joy! She provided great care for my dog, was extremely communicative, and sent lots of pictures and videos during his stay. I had some schedule changes and she worked with me navigating those with no issue. She and her family were very friendly and I will be sure to use her in the future!”

“This was a last minute booking due to Remi being on meds for her spine and everything turned out fine. I had many questions bc I didn’t want Remi to be overstimulated when what she really needed was to take her meds & rest. Jorge answered all of my questions and was patient and understanding with me. Jorge gave Remi her meds as indicated, kept a in touch and sent a picture each day. Thank you!! 🙌”

“Yara was great! We needed a sitter last minute and she took our puppy just a couple of hours after messaging her. She sent frequent pictures and let us know he was doing good. And she was very responsive as well.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have cared for my own dogs for 12+ years each, giving them the love, attention, and care they deserve. I’ve also cared for family and friends’ dogs while they were away, so I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pet. I have experience caring for senior dogs who needed extra attention, including administering medications and IV fluids. I’m patient, dependable, and comfortable following special care instructions to make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I work full-time during the week, but I’m home by around 2:00 PM on weekdays, giving me plenty of time to spend with your pup. Your dog will only be home alone for a limited amount of time, and I’ll be able to give them plenty of attention, playtime, and care when I’m home. I’m also available for boarding on weekends and can provide a comfortable, loving environment while you’re away. I have a fenced-in yard that provides a safe and comfortable space for dogs to play and get some fresh air. My home is very pet-friendly, and I’m able to provide a calm, caring environment where your dog can feel comfortable and at home. I’ll follow your dog’s routine and any special instructions to make sure they receive the care and attention they need.
“María was fantastic!! She was in continued communication with us and sending pictures and videos. My baby even slept with her. We were bit nervous leaving him but she made sure we were confident and comfortable by keeping us updated every single day few times a day. I fully recommend María and if we travel again we will be using her services once again.”

“My goldendoodle Brody had a great stay with Jennifer. She was very good at communicating and responded very quickly to any messages or questions I may have had. She was very easy to work with and had a nice house that made Brody very comfortable in a new environment. I highly recommend her and will most definetly use her for future trips we have. Thank you so much!!”

“Lina and her husband was amazing. She kept me updated with photos and videos of Milo. And he always seemed so happy. Whenever he’s laying down for a belly rub. That’s a WIN. And he always was laying down for one in the photos and videos.”

“Nanny and her family were great at treating my girl Reba like their own. It was a huge relief knowing that my pup was getting a comfortable boarding experience with another family and not just getting kenneled like some of the bigger organizations that watch 10+ dogs at a time. Definitely recommend Nanny if you want a loving family to look after your fur babies.”

“We had an amazing experience with Beatrice and Neyda’s job. They answer almost immediately, saying they were available. Neyda sent me photos once or twice a day and we noticed that my doggie was more calm than with other pet sitters. But the best part is that she’s perfectly healthy after her visit, usually she head back home sick… and this time was the opposite, she’s healthy and happy.”

“Nora is amazing. So welcoming and she provides great care. Good photos and updates. Long walks to wear your pooch out. Has the prefect yard which gives dogs freedom to roam. I have used her multiple times and will continue to do so.”

“I am very pleased with the way Sebastian took care of our dog. He is an excellent caretaker; very professional in his communication and knowledgeable about how to properly care for animals. We have a 90-pound Weimaraner and Sebastian handled him with great care, love for pets and attention to detail. I highly recommend him.”

Maria was great with our dog Barkley she kept us up-to-date with videos and pictures. She took care of them and gave him plenty of exercise. He was very happy. She was great on communication. We would definitely use her again as we travel often. Thanks a lot. Maria Barkley is already missing you.

We're extremely happy with Claudia, she was amazing. From the moment we met in the Meet and Greet, we were able to see how she treated our Phoenix with so much love. She was very professional with all of her questions in regards to Phoenix care. She kept us updated during the stay. We definitely recommend Claudia and are very happy with her service.

Jonathan was fantastic with my Aussiedoodle, Yenn! He was super communicative throughout the whole stay and sent photos and updates regularly, which gave me so much peace of mind. Yenn came home happy and worn out, which is exactly what you want. Will 100% be rebooking. Highly recommend!

Hannah was great with handling our little puppy. She was sure to ask questions about our pup's rules at home as to not undue training we have started with him. Hannah was very empathetic to our travel delays and was able to flex our original booking. We would definitely recommend Hannah and would have her care for our pup again.

Thomas was excellent with our dog, he would constantly send us updates and pictures about what she was up to. We have a high energy husky and he was able to exceed her needs and take her for walks, let her play, etc. Truly one of the best dog sitters we’ve left our dog with, we had a lot of peace of mind that she was being cared for.

Giovanny was very accommodating to several modifications to our reservation for our pup Ace associated with my husbands recent heart surgery and subsequent complications. He communicated wonderfully and honored our requests as well as he possibly could. We plan on using him again real soon.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
