“This was our first time leaving our 1-year-old dog with someone outside of the family since we got him. Katelynn was awesome with Zeus and was great with him from the very start! He typically is very scared of new people and refuses to leave our side but she made him feel comfortable and safe from the start! She kept us up to date throughout the day which made us feel safe. We will definitely have Zeus stay with her next time, she was wonderful and I would highly recommend her!”

About: When in the care of my partner and I, pets are enriched and have plenty of opportunity for activity. If your dog enjoys swimming, I can take them to a nearby creek to play. I have a large yard for playing fetch, or just hanging out, and a spunky lab mix that is happy to play tug-o-war. I've always had dogs and cats, and for a short time, pet rats (they're lovely!). I come from a long line of animal lovers and continue that legacy. I have a flexible job that allows me to work from home, so I am flexible with pick-up and drop-off times unless otherwise communicated. I am in RVA most weekends as well. I have a fenced backyard and a dog and 2 cats. The cats have been around other dogs, and Eddy the dog loves other dogs- he has lots of energy to share!

“Sorry for the late review. I've been doing the grandma thing for the past 2 weeks. I am a widow and I live alone many miles from family. My dogs, Margot and Molly, have become my life. When I learned that they were not invited to the party, I almost declined the invitation. Through a trusted friend, I learned about Rover. I took a chance and booked a time with Dawn. WOW! It's like taking your child to kindergarten for the first day and they walk away from you without looking back. I like to think the girls are good judges of character. Well Dawn took their leashes and they walked away from me without looking back They were not the least stressed when I picked them up later. They had play time with other dogs, they had their dinner and they were ready for a good night's sleep when I picked them up. I got updates on where they were and what they were doing. I couldn't be happier than I was with Dawn's care. This experience was a golden buzzer for me.”

That’s why I don’t take this responsibility lightly—your dog’s safety, happiness, and comfort come first! I grew up with dogs and have spent my life around wagging tails and unconditional love. About: I come from a family of dog lovers! I have had family dogs in my home for over a decade, including our current 2-year old golden retriever, Cooper. I have also kept dogs, of all shapes and sizes, for my friends and family over the years. I’m currently a stay at home mom with a few side hustles, but you will find me at home most days! We love to spend time in our fully-fenced in backyard. I have a fully-fenced in backyard with plenty of room for running and playing! My dog Cooper loves having other dogs around to play with and is more than happy to keep your fur baby company. I am happy to crate your dog or have them left out, whatever works for your baby!
