“Cindy took really good care of Frankie and I could tell she was very knowledgeable about dogs! Frankie also loved hanging out with her other two pups and her wonderful family. I would love to have Cindy watch Frankie again!”

“Outstanding sitter, never once worried through out the day while away from my pup because I knew he was in good hands 10/10”

Laurie L.

“Thanks for taking great care of my boys!”

Henry E.

“Henry was a great sitter! He took great care of Fidel during the day. Henry took him out for walks to keep Fidel busy and cheer him up. It was also very easy to communicate with Henry. He answered our messages right away.”

Shane A.

“10-week old lab puppies can be tough to manage, but Shane did an awesome job caring for my little Jobob! Kept in frequent touch during the day with updates, and I'd happily book him again.”

Lindsey H.
“Lindsey has always been a great caregiver for my pets. At one time I had 3 dogs and 3 cats living with us. Our dogs were most appreciative of Lindsey engaging in daily walks. Reilly, our golden retriever especially liked her training, because the training was always followed up with a yummy reward.”

Salís D.

“Salis was great! She took time to do a meet and greet ahead of time for my anxious and reactive dog. She responded quickly and sent me updates throughout the day. She said Cassidy got along well with her and her roommates. We have already booked more stays with her!”

Chelsea J.

“Chelsea was AMAZING with my anxious pup! She was also very gracious with my unplanned schedule change and accommodated us accordingly. I wouldn't hesitate to book her again.”

Katherine H.
“Katherine has watched my two dogs at least ten times and is always professional, kind, and loves the boys as her own! She pays attention to detail and follows all of the “overbearing dog mom” directions I give. :) It’s a bonus that she takes and shares so many pictures and provides updates on how they’re doing before I ever even have to ask!”

About: Puppy sitting for my perfect nephew (Rocky) for the last five years in San Diego inspired me to help others in Richmond now that I call it my home. In college I fostered kittens that were too young to be adopted to help build socialization skills with people. I grew up always having both a dog and cat in the home and can’t wait to rescue someone of my own here soon 😊. I currently work from home all weekdays, but do plan travel typically 1x per month. I live an active life and love the outdoors, long walks and hikes. I am happily available for boarding, daycare or walks any day of the week. Advance notice to schedule boarding is greatly appreciated to plan ahead with my schedule. My home is a single story, 3 bedroom house with a fenced in backyard and quiet street full of neighborhood fur friends to meet along our walks!

Sydney C.
“Sydney always provides excellent care to pets! She helped me settle in with my dog when I was a first-time dog owner. She is an incredibly competent dog owner in her own right, and is confident and kind with every dog I've seen her interact with. You can rest assured that your pet will receive the best possible care (and plenty of snuggles) with Sydney.”

James S.
“JW has grown up with animals his whole life and is an excellent pet owner. He has years of experience, I couldn’t recommend someone more than him!”

Maggie S.

“Maggie is totally Amazing! She was above and beyond what I expected! Lots of daily pics , and she was nurturing to our pups! I would definitely recommend her to anyone”

Dawn B.

“Sorry for the late review. I've been doing the grandma thing for the past 2 weeks. I am a widow and I live alone many miles from family. My dogs, Margot and Molly, have become my life. When I learned that they were not invited to the party, I almost declined the invitation. Through a trusted friend, I learned about Rover. I took a chance and booked a time with Dawn. WOW! It's like taking your child to kindergarten for the first day and they walk away from you without looking back. I like to think the girls are good judges of character. Well Dawn took their leashes and they walked away from me without looking back They were not the least stressed when I picked them up later. They had play time with other dogs, they had their dinner and they were ready for a good night's sleep when I picked them up. I got updates on where they were and what they were doing. I couldn't be happier than I was with Dawn's care. This experience was a golden buzzer for me.”

Ingrid Paola Q.
“I have witnessed for several years the love and care that my niece Ingrid has for the animals, her responsibility and affection for the pets stands out in her. She is very affectionate and very attentive to the pets.”

Betsy R.
“Betsy is a "natural" when it comes to caring for animals! Her love of cats and dogs, especially, combined with a deep sense of responsibility make her more than a pet "sitter." Betsy has cared for my animals for several years so I can attest personally to her reliability and care and attention for my babies!”

Jillian B.
“Jillian went way above and beyond for my Australian Shepard, Mia. She is a rescue dog and more skittish than I’d like. Jillian made her 3 night stay amazing. She sent me pictures of their walks and belly rubs and Mia didn’t bolt for the car when I came to pick her up. She looked at Jillian, then at me and my husband and practically said “goodbye” with her eyes. She’s never been happier when she’s been boarded. Thanks Jillian, we will definitely recommend you to all the dog parents out there!”

About: Hey there! As a girl who grew up on a farm, I’ve been taking care of animals most of my life. As a dog mom myself, I know how important it is to feel like your fur baby is in good hands! It’s my top priority to make sure your fur baby feels safe, loved, and that communication and updates are consistently provided. I’m comfortable handling doggos and cats of all ages, abilities, and personalities (as long as I get a heads up). I’m also an avid runner and would love to take your pup on a nice run (if that’s your pups thing). I hope to meet your fur baby soon! I am currently working part-time and have a flexible week day schedule. I am able to do multiple day visits, stay for some snuggles, etc. I will work to accommodate your preferences and your pup's routine. I will ensure your home is kept clean, secure, and meet any special requests unique to you and your family.

I love to do Meet & Greets prior to your baby’s stay/walk/drop-in if feasible. I’m available after 5 pm Monday-Friday for Meet & Greets and anytime on the weekend! I am a mom of 3 & we have a Shih-poo named Coko. My babies have all grown up around family dogs and understand to be gentle with fur babies. Our neighborhood is very dog friendly so I’m sure we’ll meet a friend or two on ours walks.
