About: I've been volunteering at the Richmond Animal League for over a year and have previous experience working at shelters and dog daycares. I've always loved caring for animals; I used to volunteer at the SPCA when I was younger and I have two dogs of my own that I enjoy taking on walks and playing fetch with in the backyard. I have a part-time job that I work 3-4 days a week (mostly evenings). Other than that, schedule is pretty flexible! I'm available throughout the week, as well as weekends. I'm more interested in drop-in visits and dog walking, but I'll be able to petsit for as long as you need with enough notice! For pet-sitting, I'll be able to stay and take care of your pets for as long as you need me to be there. I can stay all day and even overnight if needed, or just check in periodically throughout the day! I'll carefully follow instructions given on feeding, walks/exercise, morning and bedtime routines, medications, and just overall entertainment. I'm great with dogs of all kinds of energy, whether they want to be active all day long, or just snuggled up on the couch!

My pets and your pet stay separated and will remain that way. A stay away from home is not necessarily the time to for your dog to be exposed to the stress of new animals. - My yard is fenced in well enough for small to medium dogs. - I host dogs up to 25 pounds. Calm dogs and senior dogs that weigh more than 25 pounds will probably do well in my home. - I focus on daycare and boarding in my home. - Guest dogs stay in my first floor tv room/playroom which has immediate access to the outside through the back door with no steps – great for senior dogs. We are close to a couple of dog parks, including Barker Field, and within a few miles of the VMFA, with plenty of green spaces to walk and relax in the fresh air. If you like, I’m happy to take your dog to Barker Field, where I will monitor your pup closely for safety. I have a large fenced backyard for safe, frequent potty breaks. Your pup will truly be cared for like my very own. Boarding dogs will have non-stop loving, cuddling, and affection. If your dog prefers to sleep alone, they can choose from two guest bedrooms with lots of comfy hiding places as well as multiple dog beds scattered throughout my home. My 1/4 acre yard is fenced in well enough for small and medium dogs. Your dog will enjoy hanging out with me while I garden or read on a blanket in the backyard, sniffing all the new smells.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 10. Family, friends, and friends-of-friends have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and house sit their pets. I currently live in a multi-pet household with multiple dogs and cats. I am now a senior at Michigan State University, pursuing a degree in animal science. I have taken companion animal science courses and worked hands-on with a wide range of animals. I have learned how to provide CPR and first-aid for pets as well. During school I have also worked for a doggy daycare, consisting of taking care of up to 80 dogs at a time in a cage-free environment! About: Hello! I am a SAHM and have spent my life loving on animals, always having pets in the home and taking care of neighbor dogs. We currently have 3 wonderful rescue doggies ranging in size from 11-100lbs that I love with all my heart and would love to spread some of the care to your sweet pet. As a stay a home mom, I have a lot of flexibility with my schedule and can usually make something work for your family! Due to my little one’s schedule, I am not usually available for visits past 7:30pm, unless doing home stay. I think it is so important to make your pet feel comfortable with me and the environment.
