“Barbara was fantastic. She arrived when scheduled, and followed all instructions regarding Dexter's care. Dexter is a shy dog and doesn't warm up too easily, but he enjoyed Barbara's company and was able to go out on an enjoyable walk during the day. Barbara was very professional and we will not hesitate to contact her when Dexter needs dog sitting and/or walking.”

“We are 2 walks in so far, set up for recurring, and feel like we struck gold!! Michelle took the time to get to know our dogs needs & mannerisms, working beautifully around some of her puppy quirks. About: I've been raised with dogs and cats since day one. They are part of my DNA. I'm kind and caring and will treat your pet like my own. I am pet free for the very first time. Your pet will be my total priority. Call me, Jean. I have great references. I'm trained in first aid I am retired from Alaska Airlines. I make several week long trips a year. Otherwise I am close at hand to meet your needs at your home or mine. My bungalow is fenced in and has good dog walking areas surrounding the property. I normally take my pets to the beach 2 blocks from my home. Walking intervals are every 3 hours unless more is needed.

About: Ive been dog sitting for a while now and nothing beats the feeling of meeting a new pup that I can love and adore. Ive had the pleasure of sitting elderly dogs, playful dogs, chill dogs and medicated dogs. I also had a dog of my own, BearBear, who unfortunately passed from old age. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing he had a great life. I will treat your baby with the same love I gave to Bear. Pets are precious, innocent creatures. Caring for them means so so much to me:) I do Rover full time and I’m not in school anymore, so I am at home and available almost all day everyday. I also live with my parents, who are retired and work from home. They are probably the most animal loving people you will ever meet. My boyfriend is also at my house majority of the time, and he is just as excited as I am to play with a bunch of doggies. So majority of the day there will be 4 people in the home to constantly play and cuddle with your puppy:) Every dog and their owner is different, so I will be more than willing to comply to any personalized instructions. There is a big park right near my home, perfect for walks. And I have a spacious living room for chilling, naps, and long belly rubs.

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was about 14 when I would watch/feed/walk my neighbors dogs. I have always owned dogs and am very familiar with caring for them. I have also been fostering dogs through FOHA RI since 2013 and have had many dogs in my home. I have cared for, taken to adoption events, processed applications, and completed the adoption process for all the dogs in my home as fosters. I have also dog sitted many friends/family members dogs over the years. I mainly work from home so I'm around to keep your pups company throughout the day. I'm available for boarding as long as I have enough notice and don't have any schedule conflicts! My schedule is flexible to be available to come and take your pup/s for a walk, and my home has a large fenced in yard for your dogs to play in when staying here. I have a very friendly Golden Retriever mix who loves other doggies and will be happy to keep them company! Your dogs will have free range of my home as well as the care and love they deserve ❤️

About: I love animals! I grew up with dogs and cats and I’m also majoring in animal science at URI. I am fun and patient. I will play with your dog and give them all the attention they need. I have experience with a variety of dogs, big and small. My schedule is pretty flexible. Please feel free to message me whenever. I look forward to meeting your pets! I am currently working 8am-12pm and taking classes at URI on Tuesdays and Thursdays. However, I am available most days. Feel free to reach out! I love to go on walks and have a leash tied up outside to let them out in the yard. I can also crate your pet if needed.

“Aly was great with my pup. She always sent multiple photos and a little narrative as to how the walk went for my pup. She kept in contact with me through text which was great when any issues occurred. She made sure she had plenty of water and her toys and chews before putting her into her crate. She followed care instructions to the T. Sad that she started more days in her office at work. But I will keep her in mind for future care.”

About: Hi there! My name is Meg, and I’m a trained dog care professional who cares deeply for the pets entrusted to me. Whether you’re looking for someone to walk, train, play with, or just keep your dog company, I’d be happy to lend a helping “paw” and get to know your beloved furry friend! I’ve worked at several dog daycare centers and training facilities, where I learned valuable skills and earned experience in the pet care field. I’ve cared for dogs both one-on-one and in groups of up to 40 dogs at a time. I realize how difficult it can be to find pet care providers who genuinely care about the animals they’re responsible for and reflect that consistently in their practice. That’s why it’s important to get to know the person taking care of your dog to ensure it’s the right fit for everyone. My goal is to ensure that your furry friend is well taken care of, from their physical health and safety to their emotional fulfillment and wellbeing. What makes it all worth it is seeing the excitement in a pet’s eyes (and tail!) when they see me and know they’re about to have a great day! I have an open and flexible schedule, available for daytime care sessions any day of the week, as well as overnight sitting sessions as requested. I tend to prefer meeting a client and their pet(s) before scheduling a session so that I can get to know them, their space, their needs, and their preferences.

About: I’ve always cared for animals my whole life! Always helped family members and neighbors growing up. I’ve been doing foster care as well which is leading me into starting my own dog boarding and walking business! I do it for a career! Best decision of my life. I take dogs along for my work day full of walking other dog! We stop by beaches, parks, and woodsy trails as well. I have a fenced in yard and three wonderful fur babies at home that other pups can relax and play with! 2 are fosters who are amazing Aimee and Zan. Then my rescue lab Luna

About: I am a huge animal lover and in addition to owning dogs and cats my whole life, I have also been pet-sitting since I was a kid. I am responsible and communicative and always happy to help in any way I can. I have full availability this summer for pet sitting, dog walking, boarding, etc. Please reach out with any questions! I work in schools, so I have the summer off. I have plenty of time to play with your pups or other pets and do whatever needed to help out! I have two very friendly dogs and a cat. I live in a safe residential neighborhood in East Greenwich, perfect for walking. I also live across the street from a large field where my pups love to run and play!

About: I have worked at a dog daycare/boarding facility in North Kingstown for more than 10 years! Due to my experience, I have worked with dogs of all sizes, shapes, ages, personalities, etc. Between the dogs at my job and my own pets at home, I have had lots of experience giving different medications as well, if that is ever needed with your pet! I was a walker through Rover up until a few months ago, but due to scheduling changes and my husband starting a new job, I wasn't able to offer the care I was able to previously. But I am able to offer my services again, so please reach out with any dog walking or drop-in visits you need! I would be happy to help! ** Please see below for more precise availability. ** I do currently work full time, but I have availability during the week, and possibly on the weekends (depending on the time) to offer my services for dog walking and drop-in visits. The hours I have available are: Mondays: I am available after 12 pm. Tuesdays: I work until 5pm. But may be able to squeeze in some pet care after I get out. Wednesdays: I am free all day :) Thursday: I am free all day :) Friday: I am available until 12pm. Saturdays & Sundays: I work 10-6 both days, but would be able to squeeze in some pet care before or after. I will take your pet for a nice walk (at their pace, for their comfort) around the neighborhood or to their favorite spot, or spend my time playing/giving company to your pet when you're not home. My attention stays on the animal at all times as you never know what pets will try to get into. If there are any concerns, I will thoroughly check the animal (to their comfort level, I will not push an animal to let me examine them but will promptly let owners know of any concerns.) I can offer water or food at your request and give medication if ever needed with your instructions.

“Phoebe is absolutely awesome, she helped us out on short notice, walked out all our pups energy and our pup absolutely loved her. So glad we found her and honestly 5 stars feels like not enough!”

About: I grew up with a relative who bread and raised dogs, so I’m quite familiar with how to take care of dogs across ages and breed. I’ve spent much time with puppies, feeding and keeping them entertained, and making sure they are away from anything that may pose any danger I have two cats, so animals are very much a large part of my life. I spend most days with them, and they have become a regular part of my routine I like to make sure that animals feel safe, at ease, and taken care of. I find it incredibly important. In my home I try to limit stimuli that may overwhelm my own pets, and make them feel loved

“I would highly recommend Maddie to anyone who cherishes their pets and needs a responsible, compassionate, skilled, animal lover. My cats are my spoiled fur babies, and she is the only person I would trust to take care of them! Maddie cared for my 2 cats adeptly, and with patience and kindness. One of my cats is spicy with outsiders, which is challenging. Despite that, Maddie took the time and managed to take good care of him. She also provided us with regular check-ins complete with narratives and photos. It gave us a big peace of mind while we were away. It’s clear that she is an animal lover, as she prioritizes and loves her own pets dearly. Five stars!”
