About: My preferred name is Leo. I've been caring for animals for most of my life. Growing up, I was responsible for helping care for three family dogs, including feeding, walking, playing with them, and making sure they were happy and well cared for. I also grew up around cats, as my mom had several throughout the years, so I'm very comfortable caring for cats of all ages and personalities. Today, I have a cat of my own, so I understand the daily responsibility and attention that pets need. I'm patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Whether your pet needs exercise, playtime, companionship, or simply someone to keep them safe and comfortable while you're away, I'll treat them with the same love and care I give my own pets. My schedule is very flexible, and I'm available seven days a week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and overnight stays. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I keep my home clean, organized, and pet-friendly. I currently care for my own cat, who is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and well loved. I make sure all of my houseplants are non-toxic to pets, keep anything potentially dangerous out of reach, and provide plenty of toys, enrichment, and a cat tree for play and relaxation. I'm attentive to each pet's individual needs and always make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean space, exercise, affection, and plenty of attention. I also have experience helping cats socialize through supervised playdates with friends' cats, so I understand how to create a calm, safe, and positive environment. About: I am a wildlife biologist for the Georgia DNR working for the Urban Wildlife Program. I have years of experience dog-sitting, primarily for large- and medium-sized dogs in the Chicago area. My work schedule is very flexible, allowing me to take my time to care for your critters! A large part of my job is responding to wildlife emergencies using years of experience and best-judgment decision making, which makes for a great pet-sitter. I am a wildlife biologist that works from home in Decatur. My workload is quite low so it is easy to fit pet care into my schedule throughout the week. My flexible schedule affords me ample time to provide proper attention to animals. I have a calm demeanor with strong attention to detail when it comes to care instruction. My experience as a wildlife biologist has trained me how to monitor animals for emergencies and how to be calm in the face of the unknown or unexpected. I am used to following strict research protocol, so following along for the care of your animal will be a breeze.

About: Animals are everything to me. Everyday I work with animals, Im a trained vet assistant who is in school to be a vet tech. I have fostered both young and old. If anything were to happen to your pets I can take them into my work place and discuss treatment over the phone. I work full time but my husband and I have every good schedule on letting out dogs. I also have a job that allows me to clock out to let them out midday. My animals are normal fed 7-9 am and 6-8 pm. My house is baby proofed as some of my babies are too smart for their own good. But I do have cameras to be able to see them and alarm systems. All of my pets have been around fosters of all shapes and sizes so pets coming into my home need to be comfortable with that.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs on and off for more than 10 years, helping family, friends, and neighbors whenever they need a reliable extra hand. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away. I live in a dog-friendly neighborhood with plenty of space for walks, as well as a large fenced-in backyard that’s perfect for playtime and exercise. I’m also close to several scenic walking trails and dog parks, giving your pup plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun and enrichment. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I regularly spend time with my brother and sister-in-law’s dogs when they visit. This has given me experience with a variety of personalities, energy levels, and care needs. I also have a designated space available for a crate if your dog uses one, helping them feel secure and at home during their stay. Please note that I work in the office Monday through Wednesday and am not home during standard business hours. If your dog requires constant supervision or cannot comfortably be left alone during those workdays, I may not be the best fit. However, for independent dogs who are comfortable with a hybrid work schedule, I’m happy to provide a safe, loving environment with plenty of attention before and after work. While I am not home Mon - Wed, I make sure every dog in my care receives plenty of attention, exercise, and affection before and after work. My day starts with a morning potty break followed by breakfast (for pups who eat twice a day). Before leaving for work, I ensure your dog is comfortable and settled in for the day. Once I’m home, the focus is entirely on them. Evenings include another potty break, dinner, playtime, and a walk around the neighborhood. I believe regular exercise and outdoor time are essential for a dog’s well-being, so I make it a priority to provide opportunities for physical activity and mental stimulation. On weekends, WFH days and days off, I can offer additional walks, backyard playtime, and plenty of one-on-one attention. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable environment where your dog feels at home while you’re away. I care for pets in my home by making sure all potential hazards are put away, since I know how curious fur babies can be. When I’m home, I keep a close eye on them while also giving them the freedom to explore and relax as they need.
