About: We are retired known in our neighborhood as Dog Mom & Dad because we take care of stray dogs, find their owner, and sometimes take them in if we cannot find their owner. For over 40 years we have had one or more dogs, all from rescue centers or from our local vet who will refer us to owners who are no longer able to care for their furry buddy. Our goal is to replicate the schedule and environment your pet is accustomed to, give the love and attention that your pet gets at home and reinforce the training you have implemented. Safety and security are important to us; consequently, we have developed an intake process that assures other pets in our care have the proper vaccinations to protect our other “guest.” Therefore, a pre-stay consultation is REQUIRED to ensure that the appropriate vaccinations are current, and any special needs are identified. We live in a quiet neighborhood, with very little traffic. We have a completely fenced back yard with cameras to record all activity. We are both retired and assure you that your pet will be supervised twenty-four by seven. Text, pictures, and videos will be sent daily. For boarding in home stays, if you drop off in the morning and pick up in the evening a daycare charge will be for the last day. Hours: Drop-offs and pick-ups accepted at our home from 7 am to 7 pm, Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm on Saturday and 4 pm to 6 pm Sunday. We will transport your dog (6-mile radius from our home only). Messages returned between 7 am and 7 pm. Meet and greets in our home scheduled between 10 am and 5 pm. We’re both retired and have plenty of time for playtime, hugs and cuddles. We're available to provide short trips and outside walks during the day. We have a completely fenced in back yard and have plenty of time to keep your fur baby happy. Our furry friends are free to roam around as they please. Your pet will be fed at least twice a day (morning & afternoon) unless on a specific diet/regimen that will be followed.

If anything were to happen to your pets I can take them into my work place and discuss treatment over the phone. I work full time but my husband and I have every good schedule on letting out dogs. I also have a job that allows me to clock out to let them out midday. My animals are normal fed 7-9 am and 6-8 pm. My house is baby proofed as some of my babies are too smart for their own good. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I regularly spend time with my brother and sister-in-law’s dogs when they visit. This has given me experience with a variety of personalities, energy levels, and care needs. I also have a designated space available for a crate if your dog uses one, helping them feel secure and at home during their stay. Please note that I work in the office Monday through Wednesday and am not home during standard business hours. If your dog requires constant supervision or cannot comfortably be left alone during those workdays, I may not be the best fit. However, for independent dogs who are comfortable with a hybrid work schedule, I’m happy to provide a safe, loving environment with plenty of attention before and after work. While I am not home Mon - Wed, I make sure every dog in my care receives plenty of attention, exercise, and affection before and after work. My day starts with a morning potty break followed by breakfast (for pups who eat twice a day). Before leaving for work, I ensure your dog is comfortable and settled in for the day. Once I’m home, the focus is entirely on them. Evenings include another potty break, dinner, playtime, and a walk around the neighborhood. I believe regular exercise and outdoor time are essential for a dog’s well-being, so I make it a priority to provide opportunities for physical activity and mental stimulation. On weekends, WFH days and days off, I can offer additional walks, backyard playtime, and plenty of one-on-one attention. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable environment where your dog feels at home while you’re away. I care for pets in my home by making sure all potential hazards are put away, since I know how curious fur babies can be. When I’m home, I keep a close eye on them while also giving them the freedom to explore and relax as they need.

About: I’ve had animals my whole life, from smaller breeds to large. I’ve worked at two dog daycares before, working with training dogs; grooming( nail trimming and bathes). My love for animals is very endless, they are better than people sometimes XD! I care for my own animals, so pet care is already a part of my daily routine! I work part time, otherwise my attention is focused on my fur babies at home. My apartment complex has an designed area with ample room for activities that my small dog enjoys and could be offered to my clients. I am flexible, and am great at accommodating to the many different personalities that animals may possess. I have worked at multiple dog boarding facilities that have allowed me to practice caring for many dogs at once and assessing each of their needs individually and accordingly.
