About: With over 15 years of hands-on experience as a devoted dog owner, I bring genuine love and deep expertise to every pup in my care. My journey began with Riley, my beloved companion who blessed my life for years before crossing the Rainbow Bridge. Riley taught me patience, attentiveness, and the unique joy that comes from truly bonding with a dog. Today, that love continues with Kenobi, my energetic and adorable 3.5-year-old, who keeps my dog-care skills sharp every single day. Kenobi and I are always on the move — whether it's our regular long walks, hitting the trails for a hike, or joining our local dog walking group where pups can socialize and explore together. An active dog is a happy dog, and I make sure every dog in my care gets the exercise and enrichment they deserve. My reputation speaks for itself — family and friends have trusted me time and again to care for their beloved pups, knowing they'll be in the most loving and capable hands. That trusted word-of-mouth is the foundation of everything I do. While I'd love nothing more than to expand my fur family, the timing isn't quite right for a second dog — so dog sitting is the perfect solution! It lets me share my home, my heart, and my experience with more dogs who deserve top-notch care. When your dog stays with me, they're not just being watched — they're being welcomed into a home that truly understands and adores dogs. Your pup will be in experienced, caring hands every step of the way. Services Offered: 🐾 Dog Walking 🏠 Boarding 🧩 Enrichment Activities I work from home with a flexible schedule, allowing me to center my day around your pup's needs. Whether it's regular potty breaks, feeding times, nap schedules, or simply cuddle time on the couch, I am fully present and attentive throughout the day. Your dog will never feel lonely or overlooked — they will always have loving company and dedicated care from morning to night! I have one 3.5-year-old Cavapoo named Kenobi who would love to keep your pup company! Crating, playpen setting or free roam can be offered depending on your dog's temperament and individual needs. And if your dog loves the outdoors, my large yard provides plenty of space to run, explore, and play!

About: With over 20 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds, I provide reliable, attentive, and loving pet care you can trust. I am a dedicated dog lover and currently have a friendly 5-year-old Shih Tzu of my own, so I understand the importance of treating every dog like family. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, so I’m able to keep up with your pet’s routine, including feeding and potty breaks every 2 hours or more. I do not create dogs, only for safety reasons if your dog is aggressive. My family is used the dogs walking around the house freely.
“Ariel was great! She was caring and compassionate with my daughter's very active 93 pound 11 month old Swiss Mountain dog. She communicated very well, and was a delight to work with. Would definitely recommend!”

About: New to Rover but not to pets, have had dogs my entire life and lived with several cats, and beyond that I’ve worked with Wag for seven years and have over 1100 services completed with a 4.9 star rating. But trying something new here, so know I will love and care for your pets with all my heart! I work from home as a writer and make my own hours so I’m very flexible in terms of availability, and I have a car too I always diligent to walk and feed my own pets and others at minimum twice a day at breakfast and dinner but can do more. I keep them on a short leash and always do my best to avoid trouble with other animals and am always wanting to play with them when I’m sitting
“Alexandria communicated with me wonderfully! I appreciated her coming so last minute to take care of my dog. You can tell she really loves animals. I'm always going to book with her in the future.”

About: Hey there I’m Ben, an Atlanta native and animal lover for life! I’ve been a pet sitter for 5 years to families all around the city. Photography’s been a hobby of mine for twice as long, and I wouldn’t mind giving your furry friends a photoshoot as well. My work schedule is very flexible so I’m available to sit or walk all days of the week. What works for you works for me. When pet sitting or walking I think communication is key. This includes making expectations clear, frequent updates, and not hesitating to reach out if needed.
“Our senior mid-life rescue gets a little depressed when we leave for a bit. Alayna was great w him! She sent us photos, was on time & gave us great notes. I get a little anxious when I leave him & she helped me feel more relaxed about the day-to-day & our dog warmed up to her quickly.”

About: I understand animal behaviors and aspire to be a trainer eventually. While working in a boarding facility I noticed the dogs were not happy, uneasy and confused. Some wouldn't eat for days, some wouldn't go potty outside, and most would desperately look for their owners during our walks. And don't even get me started on how disarrayed the cats were. From that experience I knew I wanted to encourage pet owners if they must leave their pets, leave them at home, or in a homely environment, where they can be undividedly attended to, loved and cared for. I am a stay-at-home mother/wife, writer, artist, and animal lover with ample flexibility throughout the week. I like to plan my days at least 24 hours in advance to ensure efficiency in all my duties. Nature, nurture, and animals are part of my purpose for living I believe. Therefore, their wellbeing is what I care about. I am disciplined, forthcoming and honest, and enjoy interacting with others of similar character. Even though I play heavily with animals when they want to play with me, I also create an atmosphere of mutual respect and order, usually upon 1st introduction. This allows the pet to follow my lead and trust in me as a child would a parent.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs on and off for more than 10 years, helping family, friends, and neighbors whenever they need a reliable extra hand. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away. I live in a dog-friendly neighborhood with plenty of space for walks, as well as a large fenced-in backyard that’s perfect for playtime and exercise. I’m also close to several scenic walking trails and dog parks, giving your pup plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun and enrichment. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I regularly spend time with my brother and sister-in-law’s dogs when they visit. This has given me experience with a variety of personalities, energy levels, and care needs. I also have a designated space available for a crate if your dog uses one, helping them feel secure and at home during their stay. Please note that I work in the office Monday through Wednesday and am not home during standard business hours. If your dog requires constant supervision or cannot comfortably be left alone during those workdays, I may not be the best fit. However, for independent dogs who are comfortable with a hybrid work schedule, I’m happy to provide a safe, loving environment with plenty of attention before and after work. While I am not home Mon - Wed, I make sure every dog in my care receives plenty of attention, exercise, and affection before and after work. My day starts with a morning potty break followed by breakfast (for pups who eat twice a day). Before leaving for work, I ensure your dog is comfortable and settled in for the day. Once I’m home, the focus is entirely on them. Evenings include another potty break, dinner, playtime, and a walk around the neighborhood. I believe regular exercise and outdoor time are essential for a dog’s well-being, so I make it a priority to provide opportunities for physical activity and mental stimulation. On weekends, WFH days and days off, I can offer additional walks, backyard playtime, and plenty of one-on-one attention. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable environment where your dog feels at home while you’re away. I care for pets in my home by making sure all potential hazards are put away, since I know how curious fur babies can be. When I’m home, I keep a close eye on them while also giving them the freedom to explore and relax as they need.
About: As a dog sitter, what sets me apart from others is my deep commitment to providing a loving, compassionate, and ethical environment for every fur baby in my care. I believe in the whole health of the dog, not just their physical well-being. I pay attention to their mental, emotional, and social needs, ensuring a balanced and fulfilling experience. Whether it’s calming anxieties, providing companionship, or offering interactive toys, I take a holistic approach to their care. I am currently retired, So i will have plenty of time to spend with your Fur babies. I am available Everyday, and also on most Holidays. Your pet’s comfort and well-being are my top priorities. In my home, they receive personalized care with fresh water, healthy meals, and plenty of attention. For energetic dogs, I offer treadmill sessions to help them stay active when outdoor exercise isn’t possible. Along with daily walks, engaging playtime, and quiet rest, I create a safe, loving environment where your pet can thrive.
About: Animals are everything to me. Everyday I work with animals, Im a trained vet assistant who is in school to be a vet tech. I have fostered both young and old. If anything were to happen to your pets I can take them into my work place and discuss treatment over the phone. I work full time but my husband and I have every good schedule on letting out dogs. I also have a job that allows me to clock out to let them out midday. My animals are normal fed 7-9 am and 6-8 pm. My house is baby proofed as some of my babies are too smart for their own good. But I do have cameras to be able to see them and alarm systems. All of my pets have been around fosters of all shapes and sizes so pets coming into my home need to be comfortable with that.

About: I’ve had animals my whole life, from smaller breeds to large. I’ve worked at two dog daycares before, working with training dogs; grooming( nail trimming and bathes). My love for animals is very endless, they are better than people sometimes XD! I care for my own animals, so pet care is already a part of my daily routine! I work part time, otherwise my attention is focused on my fur babies at home. My apartment complex has an designed area with ample room for activities that my small dog enjoys and could be offered to my clients. I am flexible, and am great at accommodating to the many different personalities that animals may possess. I have worked at multiple dog boarding facilities that have allowed me to practice caring for many dogs at once and assessing each of their needs individually and accordingly.
“Jessica was punctual professional and took great care of my best friend! I have a large dog with a lot of energy and he came home wagging his tail ready for a nap after his hour long walk.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
