He’s picky about walks (only likes certain blocks), but Claudia handled it like a pro and kept me posted the whole time. 100% recommend!”

“Emily was an epiphany for our family. We have always had trouble leaving out now 11-yo German Shepherd because of his multiple health problems requiring daily oral and ocular medication administration and his dog aggression and separation anxiety resulting from troubled past as a neglected dog. He is slow to trust new people and is difficult to walk as he can be unpredictable and his lunge is quite strong. I cannot emphasize enough that this has been a big problem in the past that caused a lot of stress on trips. Emily arrived promptly at the designated time for our meet-and-greet, and from the minute she met Ilbo I could tell that she was an experienced and compassionate dog-handler who was serious about the dog's safety and well-being and would be extremely attentive to his needs. After a short introduction I felt comfortable handing her his leash and watched while she expertly navigated him around the relatively busy streets of Center City. She asked all the right questions to get to know his schedule and maintenance and was warm and friendly with him and with our many instructions and questions. After understanding that she would be a great fit for us, we booked her for an 8-night stay while we traveled abroad to see family. Again, she prepared for the stay by ensuring that she had access to and understood all care instructions and setting forth clear expectations for how she would walk, feed, and support Ilbo while we were gone. As sure as her word we received regular updates about his well-being and honest questions when anything new came up. Unlike previous experiences when we have left him and he exhibited anxious behaviors, with Emily he appeared happy, comfortable, and extremely well-taken care of while we were gone. When we did return, we found him lounging at Emily's feet, healthy, happy, calm, and exhibiting all the signs that Emily had maintained (or even enhanced) his leash-training and social skills. He clearly grew to like and depend on Emily for support and affection. We will absolutely ask (beg) Emily to care for Ilbo again if we leave the city. She is truly gifted with a calm energy that Ilbo really responded to and she pairs that natural gift with lots of experience making her able to care for complex dogs and an attentiveness to detail and sense of responsibility that meant that everything we asked her to attend to was done. She is a real gift to anyone who needs to leave a senior, sick, behaviorally complex, or otherwise unusual pet. We have never felt so comfortable leaving Ilbo with anyone and hope very much that Emily can help others like us as well.”
