About: Dog care experience: - 5+ years of caring for my own pets - Professional experience for 10+ years (dog walker, pet sitter, spca volunteer) - Specialize in Golden Retriever boarding/daycares, but all breeds and sizes are welcomed! With my skills and knowledge, I am able to provide a safe and caring environment for your beloved fur babies. I can handle dogs of many sizes and with different temperaments. I can recognize when a pet is in need of medical attention and would also be able to administer any medication during their stay with me (no extra charge). We are available to do potty breaks and walks during the week days. On the weekends I like taking my dogs to the park if they enjoy going. I love to walk and can walk your dog at a park or as much as it takes to get their exercise in, I can also walk as much as or as little as your dog needs. I would be able to keep up with training for puppies/dogs who are enrolled in training classes. I have a fenced yard space in the back, with veggies growing here and there in pots, none of them are toxic to dogs. I take my dogs on a nearby park walk twice a day everyday. We also have a 3 year old male golden retriever at home. He is fully trained and can or cannot play with your pup depending on your preference. If you would like to have your dog separately; I do have fences and can set them up. I highly prefer crate trained or housebroken pups that can respect boundaries of an exercise pen or room. Crates and/or pens are used to separate dogs during feeding time and relaxation time (overnight, break time, potty training, dogs not getting along, etc). Please let me know about your dog’s experience being confined/alone. If your dog has specific needs (can’t be alone, does not do well in crate, issues being around specific dogs, etc) please let me know as well. Depending on my schedule, I may or may not be able to accommodate. Additional rates may apply to dogs requiring extra attention. Priority is given to repeat guests, especially during holidays.

About: I’ve been a volunteer at Front Street Animal Shelter for over a year, as well as pet sitting for friends and families over the past 5 years. My family and I have had several dogs over the past years ranging from large to medium in size, but I’m no stranger to small dogs either. I have also cared for dogs who required special needs care and attention for various reasons from medical illnesses to physical limitations and age. I’m currently a full time college student which means I can only offer services in the evening during weekdays. But, Friday through Sunday I’m completely available all day to provide care for animals as needed at times which are convenient for owners. When caring for animals I prioritize routine to avoid any unnecessary stress or anxiety. I start with bathroom breaks and handling food and water before moving on to play and entertainment. If any basic hygiene such as brushing is required then I will do that after the pet is relaxed and comfortable from playing. Any other specialized care is worked into this schedule as needed.

About: I've had cats and dogs my entire life, and volunteered at the Bradshaw Animal Shelter for a year after college. I've fostered kittens and a senior cat with medical issues, and cared for many older pets over my life. I once house sit for a family with rabbits so I have a little bit of familiarity with them. I have house sit for friends with a standard poodle and a mini doodle, including giving the standard poodle his daily medication and taking them both for twice daily trips to the park. I have also checked in on my parents' two dogs and 5+ cats to feed them, let them out for potty breaks, play with them, and give them medication. My sweet orange tabby got cancer a few years ago and I fed him three times a day through a feeding tube and administered his medication as well. I work some evenings, so I am free most of the day to care for your furry friends. I take care of my own senior kitty in the mornings, after my evening shifts, and during any free days. I have pet sat for friends and family before, including giving medication and two daily walks. I will follow all instructions to the letter and ensure your pet feels right at home.
