“Riker had such a good experience with Roy the past 2 days. Roy offered a meet and greet before the Riker’s first stay. After Riker accepted all the pets, and a quick tangent discussion over Ironman helmets, the house was great, lots if space for doggos. Roy sent pics( @home and out on walks) and updates on how Riker was doing. Pickup and drop offs are easy. Neighborhood is great, pet friendly, convenient but secluded community. Roy made the experience seamless, which made really made it stress free for Riker(and Me). Great experience. Definitely highly recommended.”

“I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with Marissa and Thom, despite this being our very first experience with Rover. Daisy gets along great with their dog and came home EXHAUSTED! (which was definitely the goal) Happy dog!”

About: I love animals 💕 I wasn’t allowed to have a pet growing up, but I would always jump at the opportunity to pet sit for friends, family, and neighbors! I have experience with puppies, and older dogs alike, including administering medication if necessary. My pup is pretty timid, so I’m very familiar with dogs who are anxious or shy. I’m a realtor that mainly works on weekends, and I spend most of my time at home with my sweet dog, Mimosa, so I have plenty of time to keep your pet company! I live in a beautiful neighborhood full of parks, including a dog park in my apartment complex. I also have a 5 year old, 22 pound, terrier at home, so your fur baby won’t be bored! I have tons of dog toys, a comfy crate with lots of blankets if that’s what makes your pup feel safe🤍
“Robert was fantastic with my high energy, spirited husky! He communicated quickly and even sent me updates and photos throughout the day. I will definitely seek Robert out again in the future and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone to watch their pup. Thanks so much Robert!”

“Mayra was perfect for taking care of Teddy. You can tell she loves dogs. Her two dogs were a treat for Teddy. He loved them and had a blast playing with them. She took him for a couple of walks which he gets so excited about. Teddy hates being alone so this was a great day for him. I highly recommend Mayra and will definitely use her again.”

About: I've been taking care of dogs for many years now. I worked in the field as an animal care assistant for almost 8 years and also babysat many dogs and cats during those years. I do have experience, but most of all, I love every dog as my own and I will make sure they are well-taken care of, safe and happy. I currently work from home and I have a flexible schedule. I have a lot of extra time to watch, spend time and play with your pet. I have a fenced yard and big backyard for your pet to roam around, play and burn some energy. I currently do not have any other pet of my own so your fur baby will receive lots of attention and love.

About: What sets me apart is being home full-time to provide constant companionship, plus having a friendly French bulldog who's great with other dogs for socialization and play. My two teenage boys absolutely love pets and will provide even more attention and interaction throughout the day. My securely fenced yard gives pets plenty of safe exercise space, and I have specific experience with French bulldogs and brachycephalic breeds, including understanding their special needs around breathing, temperature, and exercise limits. This knowledge also helps me provide attentive care for senior dogs or pets with special requirements. Pet care fits seamlessly into my family's routine. I start with morning walks and feeding, then take natural breaks throughout the day for quick walks or play sessions, I provide pet care in both my home and clients' homes, depending on what works best for each pet and family. In my home, I have a securely fenced yard where dogs can play safely and get plenty of exercise. My friendly French bulldog loves having companions and is great with other dogs, so visiting pets get both human attention and canine socialization.

“Reginay was kind and accommodating. As far as we can tell, she took care of our pups well, and respected their space when one of ours was slow to trust new people. She even came to our home a few days ahead to meet the dogs, at our request. All in all, I would recommend Reginay for short term per sitting or day care.”

“So lucky to have found Justin! I was in Sacramento for a work thing and had to find a sitter last-minute for my senior pup. Justin went out of his way to accommodate my schedule and was so patient with my dog. I felt like he really listened to my care instructions and is obvious he loves dogs. Truly appreciate him and wish we lived nearby so he could be our regular sitter!”

Pocket dog parents share their Rover experiences
This was River’s first ever daycare experience. I was nervous but Maeghen texted me some pictures and he seemed pretty relaxed overall. A great first time with an excellent sitter. I hope I find someone just like her for our next sitter. 10/10 recommendation ☺️

Justin was a great host to our golden retriever Maizey. We had a last minute need for a dog sitter, and he was flexible and accommodating. Upon our arrival he was welcoming to our pup and to us. He made us feel safe and secure about leaving our beloved dog with him as we were new to Rover, and it was our first booking. There was a yard and his our was both clean and dog friendly (which is saying something!). He was also great with communicating and responding to our questions. I highly recommend Justin.

Mayra was perfect for taking care of Teddy. You can tell she loves dogs. Her two dogs were a treat for Teddy. He loved them and had a blast playing with them. She took him for a couple of walks which he gets so excited about. Teddy hates being alone so this was a great day for him. I highly recommend Mayra and will definitely use her again.
