About: I’ve owned dogs and cats all my life. All my dogs have been trained well and are very active. I walk my dog daily and love being outdoors. I have been dog sitting and dog walking for a few years for in app clients but I’ve been doing it my whole life. Our family has a golden retriever and a cat. The cat is indoor only and doesn’t prefer to interact with dogs usually. I work full time as a teacher but my wife (also on this app) works from home 3 days a week. I am off on summer break and have other breaks throughout the year. My dogs walks usually happen early in the morning or after dinner time. We play with and brush our dog and cat. We have a toddler who loves animals. We have a small backyard with grassy area. We have a nice neighborhood and walk dogs throughout. We live across the street from a huge park that the dog and child love to visit.

About: I grew up with large dogs, rodents, and have owned many scaly friends. I befriend every stray cat I meet and I stop to help whenever I see a dog that's escaped their home and its safe to do so. I also used to ride horses when I lived in the country. Currently I take care of my thumbnail dart frogs and wish for more animal friends. I am currently unemployed but work on developing my own video game at home. When I am employed my jobs are exclusively remote. I like to go on an evening walk and sometimes I will be out of the house for a few hours at a time. Occasionally I might be out for the night but its generally about once a week or less. My home has a fenced yard, an atrium, 3 bedrooms and 2 living spaces. I also have an alarm system that is armed at night. I am happy to let dogs out in the yard and take them on walks. At my clients home I am happy to sit with your pets to keep them company and read a comic book, draw on my tablet, or play a game on my Switch.

“April was so kind, supportive, and understanding of my special senior!!! For context, my 14 year old dog was currently undergoing a med change due to doggy dementia so he needed extra supervision while we navigated this process. With the med change also came a lot of changes to his temperament/behavior. Despite being a super anxious, pretty reactive dog with a history of trauma (very slow to warm to strangers), April was so patient and empathetic to our situation and really went above and beyond to help us and our dog feel as comfortable as possible. I was happy to learn that my dog was even following her around a bit during his stay (which he doesn't even do with people he's met before)! I was so relieved when she sent her detailed text updates (with adorable doggy pics) and loved how proactive & transparent she was about making his next stay even more accomodating. About: I have always been a dog lover, and I am now the mother of two dog-loving children. Your dog will not be short on love, affection, and play in our home! I am available full-time four days out of the week. I am available to go on walks/hikes with your dog during the week and/or weekends. I would be available for overnight stays during the weekends. About: Dog care experience: - 5+ years of caring for my own pets - Professional experience for 10+ years (dog walker, pet sitter, spca volunteer) - Specialize in Golden Retriever boarding/daycares, but all breeds and sizes are welcomed! With my skills and knowledge, I am able to provide a safe and caring environment for your beloved fur babies. I can handle dogs of many sizes and with different temperaments. I can recognize when a pet is in need of medical attention and would also be able to administer any medication during their stay with me (no extra charge). We are available to do potty breaks and walks during the week days. On the weekends I like taking my dogs to the park if they enjoy going. I love to walk and can walk your dog at a park or as much as it takes to get their exercise in, I can also walk as much as or as little as your dog needs. I would be able to keep up with training for puppies/dogs who are enrolled in training classes. I have a fenced yard space in the back, with veggies growing here and there in pots, none of them are toxic to dogs. I take my dogs on a nearby park walk twice a day everyday. We also have a 3 year old male golden retriever at home. He is fully trained and can or cannot play with your pup depending on your preference. If you would like to have your dog separately; I do have fences and can set them up. I highly prefer crate trained or housebroken pups that can respect boundaries of an exercise pen or room. Crates and/or pens are used to separate dogs during feeding time and relaxation time (overnight, break time, potty training, dogs not getting along, etc). Please let me know about your dog’s experience being confined/alone. If your dog has specific needs (can’t be alone, does not do well in crate, issues being around specific dogs, etc) please let me know as well. Depending on my schedule, I may or may not be able to accommodate. Additional rates may apply to dogs requiring extra attention. Priority is given to repeat guests, especially during holidays.

About: I have been in the veterinary field for over 32 years and in all those years I’ve also been house sitting and I love it. I currently have my days free and I’m pretty flexible to do check ins and exercise. I’ll also consider doing sleep overs if need be. I watch over the animals as if they are my own. About: I’ve been a volunteer at Front Street Animal Shelter for over a year, as well as pet sitting for friends and families over the past 5 years. My family and I have had several dogs over the past years ranging from large to medium in size, but I’m no stranger to small dogs either. When caring for animals I prioritize routine to avoid any unnecessary stress or anxiety. I start with bathroom breaks and handling food and water before moving on to play and entertainment. If any basic hygiene such as brushing is required then I will do that after the pet is relaxed and comfortable from playing. Any other specialized care is worked into this schedule as needed.

About: I’ve owned dogs and cats all my life. All my dogs have been trained well and are very active. I walk my dog daily and love being outdoors. I have been dog sitting and dog walking for a few years for in app clients but I’ve been doing it my whole life. Our family has a golden retriever and a cat. The cat is indoor only and doesn’t prefer to interact with dogs usually. I work full time as a teacher but my wife (also on this app) works from home 3 days a week. I am off on summer break and have other breaks throughout the year. My dogs walks usually happen early in the morning or after dinner time. We play with and brush our dog and cat. We have a toddler who loves animals. We have a small backyard with grassy area. We have a nice neighborhood and walk dogs throughout. We live across the street from a huge park that the dog and child love to visit.
