Hello! My name is Marisa and I currently have two mini dachshunds who are the lights of my life! I have been with Rover for eight years and truly enjoy pet sitting. I have worked with various breeds of dogs (and cats) and I am well versed in the proper care techniques for each animal. I provide drop in and walking services to keep your furry friend company while you are away. I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a good fit for one another. This shouldn’t take more than 20 minutes of your time. I am happy to meet at your home, or at a neutral space such as a park. I am looking forward to meeting you and your fuzzy friend!

Marisa is wonderful! She came for a meet-and-greet with my dog and was so great with him. She responds quickly to messages and communicates well. I received little reports after her walks with my dog, as well as some nice comments. I plan to continue her services through Rover.
Marisa did a great job with our dog Ryu! We made a fairly last minute request and she responded quickly and came over for a meet and greet the following day. She asked good questions about his behavior, we could tell she cared and wanted to be prepared. Ryu took to Marisa and she both walked him and played with him in the backyard, he loves tug of war. We’ll definitely hire Marisa again next time we need help with Ryu!

Schedule
I currently work full-time at home. I offer drop-ins and walking requests and am available most days. Please feel free to message me for full availability.

- I would love to meet your pet to see if we would make a good match! I prefer small to medium breed dogs, but can handle gentle giants. Bonus points if you have a dachshund! Does your dog have separation anxiety? Do they react around other animals (other dogs, cats, squirrels, etc.)? Any triggers that would make walking them difficult? Any food allergies? Any quirks I should know about? What can I do to make them feel comfortable?
