“Joshua did a great job watching our pets in our home over two short weekends away. They seemed happy and healthy when we returned. Joshua communicated with us before, during, and after his time with our pets. He even emptied the litter box when we didn’t ask!”

“Julia has watched my 11 week old puppy a couple times now and I have nothing but good things to say about her. She is very kind and knowledgeable. “Liz was extremely professional and reliable when she stayed with our dog and high needs cat. We can’t recommend her enough. Thank you Liz!”

“Kathryn is awesome!!!! My husband and I had a bad experience with Rover last June with another sitter and haven’t traveled since. After moving to Connecticut, we decided to give it a shot and test it out again for one night. Kathryn was so kind, polite and reassuring that all will be well after listening to our horrid experience last year. She offered two visits before the actual sitting just to get to know our Pep and us. She always showed up the time she said she would. Pep warmed up to her quickly. Dogs know :) During the sitting, she sent multiple updates and went above and beyond. She did everything she could to make sure pep was accommodated and comfortable! She also respected our home and left it as she found it. Will definitely be booking Kathryn again. We can’t thank you enough”

“Sadie was wonderful! She is very kind and professional. The house was exactly as we left it and our fur babies were well loved and cared for, we were nervous about using Rover as we never had before but so glad we did. We would trust Sadie watching our home and fur babies anytime!”

“Finn was well cared for and very happy to have spent the day with Lucy. We will be scheduling more time with Lucy and would confidently recommend her to others.”

“We just came back from our first vacation in years and Jessica was a huge reason our trip was great. We have two dogs we care deeply for and boarding them for just a weekend was stressful… and expensive! Our older dog has incredible anxiety every time we leave. So we decided to give Rover a try and we’re very happy we did. We met with a couple of sitters before our trip and Jessica impressed us with her flexibility and professionalism so we asked her to dogsit for the three nights we were away. She was great with our dogs and cared for them the way we wanted. In addition, she sent us pictures and texts with updates on the dogs. She made a great impression and completely sold us on Rover. I now feel confident that we can take more relaxing vacations knowing how well she took care of our dogs! I couldn’t have asked for more.”

“Bri took great care of our Sadie and home! Responded quickly whenever we reached out. Will definitely be reaching out again in the future!”

“Jade took excellent care of our beloved dog and house. She is very responsive and sends regular updates with lots of pictures. It was so nice to go away and have such peace of mind that our dog was taken care of so well. Your pet is in good hands with Jade!”

About: I have been lucky enough to grow up with dogs my entire life, and have regularly dog-sat for puppies, seniors, and anything in between! This includes ensuring that puppies recieve their de-worming medication and that seniors receive their medicine on-time and feel comfortable under my care. I am also experienced in making sure that dogs who do not get along yet stay in the same household remain separate from eachother, so long as the hous can accommodate such a need! If your dog needs food, walks, or just a friend to keep company while you are away, let me know! I am currently working per diem in the Farmington Public School district and so have a flexible, but open, schedule. Come the summer months and school breaks, I am readily available! I have spent the last two years nursing, among others, a senior cat who needs medicine and as much food as he asks for. It is a pleasure to connect with him and give him the love he deserves in his remaining time. I am unable to host animals at my residence, as I have an older cat who becomes inconsolable when another pet is brought into the home, and do not wish to stress her unnecessarily. I regularly play with, walk, and feed the dogs that are in my life, and adjust the length of walks to the capacity and energy of the dog.

“Maggie was great with our two kitties and super responsive even though we booked with relatively short notice. Thank you!”

About: As a dog mom myself, I know how important routine, patience, and love are to a happy pup. I’ve personally trained my own dog and have years of experience dog sitting for all kinds of breeds and temperaments. Whether your dog loves long walks, belly rubs, or just someone calm and kind to keep them company, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, loved, and at ease while you’re away. Pet sitting fits seamlessly into my schedule—I work from home and have a flexible routine, which allows me to give pets the time and attention they deserve throughout the day. Whether it’s midday walks, feeding, or just keeping your pets company, I’m able to adjust my workday to meet their needs and keep them happy and comfortable. In my client’s home, I aim to keep your pet’s routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions closely—whether that’s feeding times, walk schedules, medications, or preferred playtime rituals. I also keep things tidy and make sure your pet feels calm, safe, and loved while you’re away

About: When I was younger, I would walk home from school and take care of many dogs all around my neighborhood. Whether it was taking them on walks, feeding them, letting them out to play, or simply just spending some quality time with them, it was always the highlight of my day! I am always eager to meet a new furry friend! I am a recent graduate of the University of Hartford, and am looking to move to New York City in the fall to pursue an acting career. I’m taking some time off at home right now and would love to take care of your furry friend! I can accommodate to any special need you require for your pet. As a dog owner, I understand the personalized care each home provides for their dog or cat. It is vital to me that your pet is as comfortable with me as they are with their owner!

“Amber was absolutely lovely! Our regular cat sitter fell through, so we were a bit nervous to find someone else in a hurry. She was everything we needed and more. Very communicative, sent pics and it was obvious our cats took to her quickly. Would absolutely use again in the future. ?”

“Gina was very kind and watched our 2 mini aussies and house sat while we were on vacation. She left the house clean and exactly how we left it. Was a very respectful house guest. We will definitely book her again.”

About: I had a dog for a little over 15 years which passed away only year ago. I miss having a pet with me during the day or snuggling up watching TV at night. I am semi retired and would love to give all my love to animals. While your baby pet is under my care, while mommy and daddy are at work, go out on a date or even go on a short vacation. I live in safe and quiet neighborhood which makes it an ideal area to walk dogs. I have plenty of experience handling ill pets, so if your furry baby requires medication, they will be in good hands.

“Delaney took great care of my girl! She sent lots of pictures so I could see how my girl was doing, and she was very happy. Then when I got home, my house was clean. I will definitely hire Delaney again.”

About: Hi, I’m Q! I’ve always had a special connection with dogs and am known for being calm, patient, and understanding with them. I truly believe dogs have beautiful souls, and I treat every one I care for like family. I share my home with Aldi, my sweet and playful 2‑year‑old goldendoodle who loves making new friends. He’s incredibly dog‑friendly and will happily keep your pup company for playtime, walks, and plenty of snuggles. Your dog will enjoy our fully fenced yard, perfect for safe outdoor play and exercise. Inside, we keep a comfortable, pet‑friendly space. My parents do smoke in the kitchen, but there is a fan running at all times and air filters in place to keep the home fresh and clean. What your dog can expect: • A fun playmate in Aldi for social dogs • Plenty of walks, yard time, and cuddle sessions • A clean, dog‑friendly home with safety and comfort in mind • Consistent updates and photos so you can relax while you’re away I can’t wait to welcome your dog into our pack and make sure they feel happy, loved, and well cared for. I’m currently home full-time and also taking care of my dog and would love some extra company. My dog and I enjoy walks to the park and around the neighborhood. We also occasionally go hiking as well. I have some tick spray, but you might want to provide your own. I have a fenced in yard and a dog friendly home. I am very respectful, neat, and detail oriented and will accommodate for your dog’s special needs. I must add, however, that there are ducks in the backyard. Unless the dog is very aggressive, it shouldn’t be a problem.
