About: I've taken care of cats of every kind for over 10 years. I tend to gravitate torwards cats a little more because of how great they are with their boundaries if that makes sense 😂. My current cat is a void who's is the sweetest, she now has a new brother who was a stray I took in. I've taken alot of measures to make him acclimate him into the new home and get him and the resident cat acclimated to each other. I've gained a lot of knowledge from the experience and I can say I understand the patient level it takes for new cata and getting them adjusted. He loves to hunt and play and I take my free time to always give him stimulation. I can assure I have a great understanding that could be beneficial for your kitty as well! About: I’ve had multiple pets since I was young and always had a great love for all animals. I have had my dog since I was 6 years old and been taking care of her since then. Neighbors and family members have always trusted me taking care of their cats, dogs, bunnies, and birds and I love meeting and forming a connection with them all! I also have experience with senior and special needs as my dog had some behavioral issues in the last few years of her life and she has taught me a lot about having compassion for everyone. 🩷 My school year is over so I am currently home for the summer and will have plenty of time to take care of your pets! About: Hi paw friends 🐾 I am somewhat new to Rover but I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I have always helped my family and friends care for their animals and I always enjoyed doing it. My husband and I got married four years ago and our little girl is three. It's so amazing to see her interact with the dogs because she gets more comfortable and happier each time. My husband and daughter are my best pet helpers when I am not around. Our family loves dogs and we will eventually get a dog when the time is right, but I love Rover because it’s give me the opportunity to still bond with pups. I truly love being around animals. Our families sometimes come to stay with us with their dogs and I get a crazy burst of happiness every time. Life is just better with a dog around and I would love to care and help with your pups! :) I know it can be tough trusting your animals in others hands but rest assured that your pet will be in great hands with me & I will send plenty of updates and pictures 📸🐾 I currently work part time (every weekend). About: I currently have two cats and a senior dog. I recently took in a stray and have learned all about how to acclimate new cats to a new home and how to acclimate him to the resident cat. I love animals and can assure you that I will take care of your animals like they are my own. My most recent experience is with a senior dog I've had for the past 4 years but I've taken care of dogs for family of all ages and energy levels. I work in an elementary school, I am working part-time until school starts up again but have open availability until the end of August 2025. I am a very active person and will be ready for an energetic dog that needs to walk. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats before I reached the age of double digits. Bruno was the first cat my family ever got, he was found in the rafters of our garage, he was so small he had to be nursed from a bottle. He won sweetest cat at the local library, and the next year we found Gus in our bushes on me and my twin brothers 6th birthday. We slyly convinced our mom he was a gift from God and we got to keep him! A couple years later, we dropped into the humane society and fell in love with a grey kitten, and of course, my brother and I pulled out our puppy dog eyes, and Junie B Fox Fire came home with us. It was a full house, three cats, two kids, and one mom. Eventually, it was time to convince my mom to get a dog. We ended up falling in love with a golden doodle and we named her Paisley. And finally, my brother and I felt satisfied with our Animal House. Our animals all lived long happy lives. Our three cats all passed away at 20, and Paisley at 16. They were always treated like family. Those 20 so years did not come without their scares. We had a few times the vet told us there was practically no hope, but Im convinced the love our family had for our animals bent reality, and every time, they were okay. Sometimes surgery was needed, other times just hope. But I am proud of the way I was raised to treat animals, and I thank my mom for that. In my 20s I moved in with my now ex fiance, and we got a dog together. An australian shepherd (I will adopt next time!), she was a puppy. We trained her, loved her, and I was her mom. Sprinkled through the years other cats entered our orbit as we took in family cats whose owner had passed. We became another animal house! unfortunately those cats were older so we got them on their ladder parts of life, and so when our apartment had no more cats, we decided it was time for a kitten! Together we raised our kitten Henry, and Aussie Skylo. I was their mom for about 7 years until we broke up, and tragically my ex stole them, and ran away with his mistress. There are no words for the black hole that left behind. It was right after the break up my family simultaneously lost three of our cats and our dog. Yes they lived a long life, but for the first time ever, I had NO animals in my care. I didn't know how empty that could feel! I don't want to make this a sob story, but I want to explain why you are just seeing a kitten in my photos. I moved to FL after the break up, and that is where I found Roary my now cat, who was 5 weeks old dodging cars in the middle of the busiest intersection in Fort Lauderdale. I was the only one on the ground to pick her up, I wasnt ready for a cat, but life did its life thing, and I am so blessed to have her by my side now. I am back in Connecticut, and ready for Rover! I am nurturing, thoughtful, attentive, and not to pat myself on the back.. but I do think I speak fluent animal. I would be so grateful for the opportunity to watch your beloved pet! I am currently free as a bird here in Connecticut. My availability is adaptable as I am in school and a part time substitute teacher. Safety always comes first. In your home, I follow your routine exactly; feeding, meds, and house rules. On walks I double check leashes, hold a tight grip, stay alert to traffic and other dogs, and never let your pet off leash. So I am free to take care of your pups during the week and still on weekends when I’m home. My amazing husband and daughter are my best pet helpers when I am not around. I still offer some services on the weekends. I will care for the pet how the owner(s) want me to care for them. They will always bed fed, hydrated, clean, warm, and the happiest they can be in our home. Our home isn't that big so someone is always around. I am not much of an out-going person, I do have a good amount of friends but they all come to my house since I am the mama of the group :)

About: I am the proud owner of a playful mini poodle and live in Plainville. I grew up with a dog and two cats and have been taking care of family members and friends pets for 15 years. I have watched both large and small dogs and indoor and outdoor cats for weeks at a time while their owners were away on vacation or business. I love going for walks and having a companion makes the walk more fun! I also enjoy playing fetch or with their favorite toys and cuddling all animals! I am a Special Education Teacher currently on summer break. During the school year I am not available 6:30am-3:30pm Monday-Friday. I am available for check-ins or walks after 3:30pm on weekdays and all day most weekends. About: I am very reliable and truly love dogs. I am available anytime on weekends and limited hours on week days as I do work full time. I can walk your dog, play with your dog and watch them overnight. My family owns a dog so have a lot of experience caring for them. Size and energy level does not matter to me as I like all dogs. I am very used to high and low energy dogs as my family owned a jack Russell, and he is very energetic and needs a lot of attention, now I own an English Bulldog who loves cuddles and laying around. She was VERY attentive to the dogs, asked about/followed their normal routine & updated me if she sensed anything was wrong or if the dogs seemed uncomfortable (one of them was exhibiting signs of an ear infection). They are all very friendly but can be separated from your pet if needed! I have a fenced in yard as well and extra crates. Whether your animals come to my house or I come to yours they will be cared for like they’re my own. I’m very picky with who I let take care of my own dogs and I understand that every dog has different needs that should be upheld.
