She sent me pictures and updates every day, which really helped ease my worries. It was clear that my pup was happy and well taken care of. I highly recommend her as a dog sitter. Thank you for taking such good care of my baby! Will definitely use her again”

“Kathryn and Jeremy took excellent care of our dog Max while we were away for a week. From our first meeting with them, it was clear that they had experience taking care of dogs and were very understanding and knowledgable about our dogs unique care needs. We felt so comfortable leaving Max with them and when we picked him up it was clear he LOVED his time there and can't wait to see them again! Thank you Kathryn and Jeremy for taking such great care of Max!”

“If you need a pet sitter - Pauline is your girl!! I can’t thank her enough for hosting my two dogs in her home for the night. I received photos & an update within 30 minutes of dropping them off - & without having to check in myself - which I absolutely loved & appreciated. I then received updates all throughout the day which is exactly what I needed! She was VERY attentive to the dogs, asked about/followed their normal routine & updated me if she sensed anything was wrong or if the dogs seemed uncomfortable (one of them was exhibiting signs of an ear infection). I know my dogs were well taken care of and enjoyed their stay. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and we are so very grateful to Pauline!!!”

About: I've taken care of cats of every kind for over 10 years. I tend to gravitate torwards cats a little more because of how great they are with their boundaries if that makes sense 😂. My current cat is a void who's is the sweetest, she now has a new brother who was a stray I took in. I've taken alot of measures to make him acclimate him into the new home and get him and the resident cat acclimated to each other. I've gained a lot of knowledge from the experience and I can say I understand the patient level it takes for new cata and getting them adjusted. He loves to hunt and play and I take my free time to always give him stimulation. I can assure I have a great understanding that could be beneficial for your kitty as well! I am comfortable with medication administration and light grooming.

“I can’t say enough good things about Mika! Having someone come into your home and care for your pets requires a lot of trust, and she have exceeded every expectation. Mika is reliable, communicative, and clearly have a genuine love for animals. Frank & Harold were happy, well cared for, and comfortable in their own environment while I was away, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. I appreciated the updates, photos, and attention to detail, and it was obvious that my dog received plenty of love and attention. Coming home to a happy pet and a well-cared-for home was the best feeling. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable and caring pet sitter, and I will definitely be using her again!”

“Nina is very responsible and took great care of my new puppy, Charlotte. She played with her, took her outside gave her a snack and made sure she is left in her enclosed area. Will definitely re-hire!”

“Kelsey was fantastic! I needed a new dog sitter last minute so we could go to a wedding that night, and she not only accepted the job, but came over in the afternoon for a lengthy meet and greet. My 1 1/2 year old pup is 75 lbs and very strong, and I had no worries that she could handle him even if they ran in to other people and dogs on their walk. Rocky took to her right away, and we were able to relax and have fun at the wedding. Thanks Kelsey!”

“Emily was great! She showed up every day as promised and provided me with an update and photos. She even messaged me when she had to come slightly early. Everything was clean when I got home and my cats were happy.”

“Wendy gave video and picture updates throughout the day. It was awesome to see my 4 month old pup playing with other dogs. Hazel was snoring in the car before we made it one block! 😂 Very good communication. Definitely recommend.”

“Michelle and her husband are wonderful. I am so lucky to have found such kind and caring people to take care of my dog. They send picture updates throughout the day which is nice to have and provide a doggie "report card" at the end of the day as well. I know my dog is in good hands when I drop him off. I would highly recommend them.”

About: Hi paw friends 🐾 I am somewhat new to Rover but I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I have always helped my family and friends care for their animals and I always enjoyed doing it. My husband and I got married four years ago and our little girl is three. It's so amazing to see her interact with the dogs because she gets more comfortable and happier each time. My husband and daughter are my best pet helpers when I am not around. Our family loves dogs and we will eventually get a dog when the time is right, but I love Rover because it’s give me the opportunity to still bond with pups. I truly love being around animals. Our families sometimes come to stay with us with their dogs and I get a crazy burst of happiness every time. Life is just better with a dog around and I would love to care and help with your pups! :) I know it can be tough trusting your animals in others hands but rest assured that your pet will be in great hands with me & I will send plenty of updates and pictures 📸🐾 I currently work part time (every weekend). So I am free to take care of your pups during the week and still on weekends when I’m home. My amazing husband and daughter are my best pet helpers when I am not around. I still offer some services on the weekends. I will care for the pet how the owner(s) want me to care for them. They will always bed fed, hydrated, clean, warm, and the happiest they can be in our home. Our home isn't that big so someone is always around. I am not much of an out-going person, I do have a good amount of friends but they all come to my house since I am the mama of the group :)
About: I’ve had multiple pets since I was young and always had a great love for all animals. I have had my dog since I was 6 years old and been taking care of her since then. Neighbors and family members have always trusted me taking care of their cats, dogs, bunnies, and birds and I love meeting and forming a connection with them all! I also have experience with senior and special needs as my dog had some behavioral issues in the last few years of her life and she has taught me a lot about having compassion for everyone. 🩷 My school year is over so I am currently home for the summer and will have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I also am available on breaks as well and would love to walk your dog during those times! I am majoring in animal studies with a minor in environmental studies in college and have a very strong love and passion for all animals. I have a big fenced yard for your dog to run around and play in! My both love all types of pets and are super welcoming.

“Klaudia and her crew welcomed our anxious pup for daycare and he came home happy and actually seems to a bit less reactive to other dogs after a day with Winston and Bruno! Klaudia checked in several times and sent photos, which we loved, showing Loofy getting lost of attention. We're looking forward to doing an overnight in the near future.”

“Though new to Rover, Maritza was very good with our 15 yo Havanese Cisco for doggy daycare. There were two larger and younger dogs present as well. She’s working from home now, so she can take the dogs on frequent walks. She will soon have a large fenced in yard…even better! I will definitely use Maritza again, for overnights too.”

“Kevin was so patient with Winnie! I really appreciated the pictures and check ins throughout the day, long walks and flexibility with his schedule & mine. I would 100% recommend and will be coming back! His pup is super friendly as well”

“Ziggy had a great time spending the day with Jaylese for doggy daycare! They went on a nice walk and Ziggy came back happy and sleepy. She accepted my request last minute and was a breeze to work with - highly reccomend!”

“Noel and Martha were absolutely wonderful! Their home is perfect for fur babies and our 7mo pup had an amazing time. He was exhausted by the end of the day after all the fun and play. They kept us updated throughout the day and sent plenty of photos showing him playing, eating, and relaxing. It was such a blessing to have peace of mind knowing he was being taken care of and enjoying himself at that. We highly recommend and will definitely rebook in the future!”

About: I’ve always treated dogs like part of the family, not just pets. When your dog stays with me, they’ll be in a home environment where they get real attention, affection, and care…not just supervision. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease knowing your dog is comfortable, loved, and well cared for. They have a huge back yard to enjoy running around with their tongues hanging to the ground lol! We usually bathe them outside before heading in on hot summer days. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I’m home throughout the day. This allows me to give consistent attention, regular potty breaks, feeding on schedule, and plenty of supervision to make sure your dog is comfortable and well cared for at all times I currently have three small, well-socialized dogs who are friendly and enjoy meeting new dogs. Any dog in my care becomes part of our routine and is treated like family. Our day starts around 6 AM with the first potty break, followed by consistent outdoor time every 3–4 hours. I have a backyard, so the dogs get plenty of supervised outdoor play, along with daily walks for exercise and stimulation. I keep a structured but relaxed environment. My dogs are on a routine that includes feeding schedules, treats, and basic obedience reinforcement like sit, stay, and lay down. This helps create a calm, balanced atmosphere where all dogs can feel comfortable and settle in easily. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and well-managed home where your dog feels like they belong
“This was our first time using Angela and was very happy with everything! Great communication! Our pup seemed happy and tired after spending the day with Angela! Love the nice fenced in yard.”

About: I currently have two cats and a senior dog. I recently took in a stray and have learned all about how to acclimate new cats to a new home and how to acclimate him to the resident cat. I love animals and can assure you that I will take care of your animals like they are my own. My most recent experience is with a senior dog I've had for the past 4 years but I've taken care of dogs for family of all ages and energy levels. I work in an elementary school, I am working part-time until school starts up again but have open availability until the end of August 2025. I am a very active person and will be ready for an energetic dog that needs to walk. I am excellent at taking directions from the parents of the pets and will do my best to make sure they have everything they need, whether that be a walk, play stimulation, regular feedings, or light grooming.
“Amber has been great! She worked with me and pup to get him comfortable with her before she took him on any walks! My guy has never had a dog walker and is stranger reactive, but loves Amber! His favorite part of the day is his walk with her!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats before I reached the age of double digits. Bruno was the first cat my family ever got, he was found in the rafters of our garage, he was so small he had to be nursed from a bottle. He won sweetest cat at the local library, and the next year we found Gus in our bushes on me and my twin brothers 6th birthday. We slyly convinced our mom he was a gift from God and we got to keep him! A couple years later, we dropped into the humane society and fell in love with a grey kitten, and of course, my brother and I pulled out our puppy dog eyes, and Junie B Fox Fire came home with us. It was a full house, three cats, two kids, and one mom. Eventually, it was time to convince my mom to get a dog. We ended up falling in love with a golden doodle and we named her Paisley. And finally, my brother and I felt satisfied with our Animal House. Our animals all lived long happy lives. Our three cats all passed away at 20, and Paisley at 16. They were always treated like family. Those 20 so years did not come without their scares. We had a few times the vet told us there was practically no hope, but Im convinced the love our family had for our animals bent reality, and every time, they were okay. Sometimes surgery was needed, other times just hope. But I am proud of the way I was raised to treat animals, and I thank my mom for that. In my 20s I moved in with my now ex fiance, and we got a dog together. An australian shepherd (I will adopt next time!), she was a puppy. We trained her, loved her, and I was her mom. Sprinkled through the years other cats entered our orbit as we took in family cats whose owner had passed. We became another animal house! unfortunately those cats were older so we got them on their ladder parts of life, and so when our apartment had no more cats, we decided it was time for a kitten! Together we raised our kitten Henry, and Aussie Skylo. I was their mom for about 7 years until we broke up, and tragically my ex stole them, and ran away with his mistress. There are no words for the black hole that left behind. It was right after the break up my family simultaneously lost three of our cats and our dog. Yes they lived a long life, but for the first time ever, I had NO animals in my care. I didn't know how empty that could feel! I don't want to make this a sob story, but I want to explain why you are just seeing a kitten in my photos. I moved to FL after the break up, and that is where I found Roary my now cat, who was 5 weeks old dodging cars in the middle of the busiest intersection in Fort Lauderdale. I was the only one on the ground to pick her up, I wasnt ready for a cat, but life did its life thing, and I am so blessed to have her by my side now. I am back in Connecticut, and ready for Rover! I am nurturing, thoughtful, attentive, and not to pat myself on the back.. but I do think I speak fluent animal. I would be so grateful for the opportunity to watch your beloved pet! I am currently free as a bird here in Connecticut. My availability is adaptable as I am in school and a part time substitute teacher. Safety always comes first. In your home, I follow your routine exactly; feeding, meds, and house rules. On walks I double check leashes, hold a tight grip, stay alert to traffic and other dogs, and never let your pet off leash. I'll send photo updates every visit so you always know your animal is safe and happy.

With hands-on experience caring for my own two playful puppies and a lifelong love of animals, I know what it takes to keep pets happy, safe, and comfortable. I combine reliable, professional care with a personal touch, making sure each visit is filled with attention, routine, and love. I have watched both large and small dogs and indoor and outdoor cats for weeks at a time while their owners were away on vacation or business. I love going for walks and having a companion makes the walk more fun! I also enjoy playing fetch or with their favorite toys and cuddling all animals! I am a Special Education Teacher currently on summer break. During the school year I am not available 6:30am-3:30pm Monday-Friday. I am available for check-ins or walks after 3:30pm on weekdays and all day most weekends. I look forward to keeping your mind at ease that your pet is in great care whether you are looking for someone to feed, play or provide exercise for your pet.

About: I am very reliable and truly love dogs. I am available anytime on weekends and limited hours on week days as I do work full time. I can walk your dog, play with your dog and watch them overnight. My family owns a dog so have a lot of experience caring for them. Size and energy level does not matter to me as I like all dogs. I am very used to high and low energy dogs as my family owned a jack Russell, and he is very energetic and needs a lot of attention, now I own an English Bulldog who loves cuddles and laying around. If you have any other questions please feel free to reach out to me, I am happy to provide more information. Looking forward to meeting some great dogs and their owners :) I am available anytime on weekends and can make weekdays work as well for drop in visits. I can also dog sit overnight during the week and weekend from your home. I will pay close attention to your dog(s) at all times and give them a lot of love. Any special instructions needed are fine as well, whatever your dog needs.

“Luna had a great time at Wendy’s house. Always enjoys the other dogs. Wendy also accommodated us at the last minute due to a other Rover sitter cancelling. We really appreciate Wendy and will definitely use her again. Thank you!”

“Alan and Luis are great!! It was out first time leaving our puppy overnight and they made us feel comfortable and kept us updated about how our puppy was doing!!!!! Our puppy got lots of play time and social interaction with other dogs which will help great in the future! I recommend Alan and Luis to anyone who has a dog and wants their dog to be loved like it's their own!!!!”

“Laura was great with our pups! She accommodated our pick up and drop off times and sent lots pic pictures and videos. Her house is very nice and she has a big backyard on a lake. My dogs were so happy and at home with her.”

“James took care of Oreo for 2 weeks during the holidays, he was always responsive to messages and send pictures every couple of days! Definitely would recommend! Thanks for all the help”

“Brittany was great. She was really good about checking in and sending me updates, even when I was in an area with no cell service/wifi so was not able to respond to her messages. My dog is old and has slowed down a lot, and I could tell when I picked him up that she had been patient and taken good care of him.”

“Anna was very attentive, kind and obviously portrayed that she wanted to care for our fur baby. Our dog can be a little difficult with strangers and it seemed that she felt very comfortable there! Definitely recommend.”

“We are so grateful for the amazing care you gave our dog! From the very beginning, Careen were kind, reliable, and attentive to every detail. It gave us great peace of mind knowing our dog was in such loving hands. We could tell our dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the stay. Thank you for treating our pet like family — we highly recommend your dog care service to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate!”

“Katie watched our dog, who is almost 2, for a couple of nights recently. I was very comfortable dropping him off and leaving him with her and her family. I love the at home experience she gave him, as opposed to kennels. Our dog is on special food and she took great care to make sure he didn’t get into her pets’ food. We will definitely use Katie again to take care of Linus.”

“Maggie was great, she was super flexible and understanding! I’ve never left my dog with anyone before but I felt so at ease with Maggie’s updates and the friendliness of both her & her dog Moose with my boy Cody! Definitely recommend and will book with her again if needed in the future.”

“Fiona was fantastic! Meet and greet first and got comfortable with the setup. She sent pics and updates as requested and I will be booking with her again soon. I could tell my dog Cal was very comfortable there both during and after.”

“Our pup came home a happy boy. We needed last minute boarding and Samantha was more than accommodating. Constant updates were provided throughout the stay. Would gladly book again in the future.”

“Jaylese took wonderful care of my dog while I was away on vacation. She asked a lot of great questions upfront to ensure Zander would be properly cared for and attended to throughout his stay. Jaylese was very caring and thoughtful, always sending pics and updates. I could tell he got plenty of love and activity throughout his stay. I would not hesitate to use her services again and recommend her to others.”

“Jennifer was so great with Mabel & Murray...she was so communicative & send great photos and videos...we so appreciated her help and knew that our dogs were well taken care of...we would absolutely use her again!!”

“Our two dogs had a great stay with Sherry. She gave them wonderful care and attention, and plenty of walks. She sent a picture or two daily. We were away for 2 weeks, and it was comforting to know they were being well cared for.”

“Our dog was a rescue and can be timid and nervous around new people and in new places. We have used Maria's services three times and each time our dog is more and more comfortable at her home. It is clear that Maria and her family love dogs and don't mind about some of our dog's quirks! Maria has been flexible with drop-off and pick-up times and accommodated us when we needed to switch up our plans. We will definitely be using her again! ”

“Kevin was amazing. My dog, Scruffy is very shy, but he got comfortable with Kevin and his dog very quickly. It was evident that Scruffy had a pleasant stay with Kevin, and he’ll be back soon 👍 Bonus: Scruffy also smelled nice (like himself) when he got home. When Scruffy stays with other sitters, he usually comes home smelling like other dogs for a few days. It was definitely a bonus (for me) that it didn’t take a few days for Scruffy to smell like himself again, haha.”
