They were 5 star + all the way, from beginning to end. Wenxu picked up our kitten from our home per our request before heading on vacation.  I immediately saw her true care/concern for our kitten, inquiring specifically on what we needed/were looking for, to ensure a perfect stay. This was the 1st time that our kitten was away from us, so naturally as a pet parent you're hoping your furry friend acclimates well, is happy and well taken care of. Needless to say, our kitten acclimated very quickly, and.was very well taking care of by Wenxu and her husband.  Wenxu was very communicative and proactive throughout our kittens stay, providing us with many photos and videos which purely reflected our kittens happiness and well being. About: Hi my name is Saige, and I’m a college student and have been around animals my entire life and have experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently have a senior dog with diabetes who I help care for, including giving his insulin, keeping up with his feeding schedule, and making sure he gets the extra attention he needs as he gets older. I also have two cats and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, cats, turtles, and other pets. I’m also an equestrian and have been riding and caring for horses for years, so I’m very comfortable handling animals and understanding their individual needs. Whether your pet is young and energetic, older and needs a little extra care, or just wants lots of attention and cuddles, I’m happy to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away! As a college student, my schedule gives me a good amount of flexibility throughout the week and on weekends. About: I’ve owned, or have been taking care of dogs since I was 10! I’ve owned a total of 4 dogs throughout my 22 years of life, and once I was old enough, my parents trusted me to help take care of them all! I have a large, fenced in yard, in the back of a spacious, and open layout home! our neighborhood is quiet, dog friendly, and has lots of safe walkways to provide your dog exercise! Me and my roommates also own a total of 3 sweet kitties, that either keep your baby company, or are easy to keep occupied in our individual spaces to provide the most comfortable environment for your dog!

About: Cozy area, lots of attention, run with dog, walk around yard, can meet my dogs! Lots of playtime, food & water, outside time. I’ve owned dogs for over 10 years in my family, I’ve dogsat before in a clients home for a week, whom was also a diabetic, so I had to also give insulin. I am a huge dog lover, and always love being around them. We can go to dog parks, take plenty of walks around the neighborhood, and have great treats! I hope to provide great hospitality for your dog or dogs, and have them enjoy their time just as much as I would be. By letting me watch your dogs, I will make sure we all have the best time together! **please ask about availability during the week as the options on here aren’t the best** I have a full time job during the week.. On weekdays I am usually available on Mondays after 6pm, Tuesdays after 5pm, and Fridays after 5pm! Weekends vary, I’ll do my best to keep my calendar updated! It depends on what the client wants me to do to care for them! Making sure they go to the bathroom, hanging out with them inside, taking them for a walk, etc. overall, I like to make sure the pet(s) are getting attention and being entertained.

About: Ive had experience with all types of animals, dogs, cats, small furry ones, even reptiles. Ive house sat, and dog sat for friends when they go away for the past few years. I can also take care of reptiles, cats, and small furry animals. I understand having animals, and going away can be stressful with finding someone who you trust with your loved pets. I will care for them as if they’re my own. I have a full time career in Law Enforcement but i live with my brother who would be able to let the pup out frequently while i am at work. I also have 3 day weekends where i am home most of the time. I have a decent sized fenced in yard, and also have 2 pups at home who are all friendly, trained, and crate trained if your pup wants alone time. I also live in a part of the house that allows your dog to roam freely without any other animals around.

I’m a teacher in Freeport and live in Wantagh, so I have a flexible schedule outside of the school day. I’m available on weekends and school breaks, and I can often stop by before or after work (my workday is 9 AM–4 PM). I’m happy to work with your schedule to help keep your pet’s routine consistent and make sure they receive plenty of attention and care. About: I work at a doggy daycare. At this job I supervise groups of dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes. I’m experienced with feeding, administering medication, and basic grooming like baths and nail trims. Working at this job has taught me a lot about dog behavior and body language. I am also pet CPR and first aid certified with America Health Training. I am an owner of a 2 year old rescue dog myself. I am used to all different types of personalities and temperaments and ready to take on whatever it is your dog may need! I am working part time at a doggy daycare facility. I am normally available in the early morning until 12pm and from 8:30pm to late night. Tuesdays and Fridays I am free the entire day for any bookings so long as I know at least a day in advance! Because of my work obligations as well as obligations to my own pets I am only offering dog walking sessions as well as home check ins for cats and dogs. I am used to any kind of harness or collars for dogs, experienced with using crates and am comfortable taking them out wherever is comfortable with you. For both cats and dogs I can come in for house check ins, help with feedings, play with your pets, or just come in for a snuggle so they don’t get lonely.

I'm a wildlife biologist, and I've spent most of my life taking care of animals — in a veterinary setting, on wildlife conservation projects, and growing up in my own home with my family pets. I work as a full-time biologist during the spring/summer, and will have open availability over the fall, winter, and spring to help with your pet care needs! I started out as a kennel technician at a veterinary hospital, where my days were cleaning dog kennels and cat cages, feeding and watering, walking dogs, giving oral and topical medications, holding animals for exams, and keeping daily records on everyone in our care. This job is where I learned how to understand an animal’s body language, and how to adjust my own to make sure they feel safe. Since then I've graduated from university and have worked as a field biologist for state and federal agencies, most recently monitoring endangered shorebirds at Jones Beach State Park here on Long Island. Along the way I provided daily care and feeding for state-owned horses in Oregon, and I've handled, banded, and released wild birds across four different groups — songbirds, raptors, waterfowl, and doves. If you have a bird and you get nervous about leaving them, let’s chat. I’d be happy to care for any feathered family members! At home I've kept lizards, snakes, birds, and aquariums of my own, so I'm comfortable with things like heat gradients and UVB, humidity, feeding schedules that aren't daily, and water parameters and filtration. I want to see where everything lives — food, leash, litter, carrier, cleaning supplies — and I write the routine down rather than trusting my memory: feeding times and amounts, medications, which treats are allowed, how your dog behaves on a walk, and anything that frightens them. I also want your vet's name and number and a backup contact before I'm ever in the house alone. The thing I'm most careful about is doors. I come and go deliberately, I know where every animal is before I open anything, and I never leave a door propped. Dogs stay leashed the entire time they're outside with me, with no off-leash exceptions unless you've asked for it specifically. I give Medication exactly as written, at the time you've specified, and I confirm each dose with you. I don't adjust a dose or skip one because an animal is being difficult — I'll message you instead. Following written protocols precisely is most of what my professional work has been, in a veterinary hospital and in the field, and I treat your instructions the same way. I pay attention and I report: appetite, water, litter box or bathroom habits, energy, and anything that looks off. If something seems wrong I'll contact you right away. If it looks like an emergency and I can't reach you, I'll get your pet to your vet or the nearest emergency clinic and keep calling. And I look after the house. I clean up after your pet and after myself, I keep your keys and door codes private, I don't bring anyone with me, and I leave the place better than I found it. You'll get photos and a short real update after every visit. I also welcome any feedback, as that helps me do a better job in the future!
