About: Dogs have been a part of my life since I was ten years old, and I have seventeen years of hands-on experience as a dog owner and caregiver in my adulthood. Family, friends, and neighbors have also trusted me to care for their dogs. I have experience with puppies through senior dogs, including puppy training and reinforcing established routines. I am comfortable administering medications and caring for senior dogs and dogs with medical needs, and I am CPR certified. My own dog was my baby and truly like a son to me. We spent seventeen years together before he recently passed away in April. He traveled with me, went everywhere with me, and was a huge part of my life. Being a devoted dog owner myself taught me how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else's care. I will treat your dog with the same love, patience, attention, and respect I gave my own. I work full-time during the week, so I am primarily available for boarding and daycare on weekends and holidays, when I can devote plenty of time and attention to the dogs in my care. If your dog is comfortable being home alone during my workday, weekday care may also be possible, and we can discuss your dog's individual routine and needs beforehand. When I am caring for your dog, I want their normal routine to remain as consistent as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications, bathroom breaks, and bedtime routines. I live in a quiet home with a securely fenced backyard where your dog can safely spend time outside. I will only host 3 small or 2 medium dogs at a time. Dogs are welcome on my couches and beds, and if your dog normally sleeps with you, they are welcome to sleep with me too. I want my home to feel like their home while they are staying with me. I believe you know your dog better than anyone, so I will follow your care instructions closely. That includes feeding schedules, medications, walks, sleeping arrangements, training routines, house rules, and any special needs or preferences. I also pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, energy, and overall comfort. My priority is making sure your dog is safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while giving you peace of mind while you're away.
“Yessenia was absolutely lovely to work with. She answered any questions we had as first time Rover customers in order to put us at ease. We could see from the first interaction that she would be kind to our dog, as she immediately got down and gave her hand to the dog to sniff and then pet her. She has a daughter with a sweet and gentle personality, who kindly shared her own blanket with the dog to make the dog feel more comfortable. Yessenia‘s husband was friendly and pleasant as well. Yessenia sent us multiple pictures and updates over the weekend while she watched the dog. Though we brought some supplies, she was also prepared with her own if necessary. Furthermore, since Yesenia had already experienced life with a senior dog, she offered us some suggestions that might help with our pup. Our Rusty had never been cared for by a stranger up to this point. It was hard for us to leave her. She even included a lovely note about the experience. Her thoughts were genuine, and it was nice for us to be reminded about the beauty of our dog whom we see every day.”

I have experience working with rescue organizations and offer foster care to animals requiring special attention. Currently in service dog training courses with my Australian Shepard. I work from home most days, so pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. I’m only away from home for about six hours on two days each week. About: We are a family of 4 who love dogs!! Our toy poodle Cici joined our family since 2014. She is my first child! We have been a reliable source to many friends when they are going away for vacations, so I have experiences with different dogs for many years. I’m working from home all day. I will be able to respond to your messages promptly. I will be able to send pictures and videos several times throughout the day. With a lot of cuddles and love 🥰, we take care of the dogs as our own. Currently I’m only accepting two dogs for boarding at the same time, so you don’t have to worry about putting your fur friend with dogs that have varies sizes or different behaviors. You and your fur friend will have all my attention. I’m currently working from home full time, so I will be able to watch and play with them. I also have a flexible schedule so I will be able to walk them whenever needed.
About: I’ve been walking dogs for the past three years, never had a problem with any size or breed. I’m fine with early mornings and late nights :) I am currently a part-time student and a part-time cashier, I know how to deal with almost anything your dog can throw at me. Yes I’m young, but I’m very confident in my vigilance and patience. I live in the best part of my neighborhood, and I always keep protection on me if anything happens. About: Hiii animal lovers! I'm a former NYC rescue/shelter caregiver. I am GoodPup Certified(GCT) and Fear Free Shelters certified in positive reinforcement training practices. I spent the past 5 years working as a Senior Caregiver in a NYC rescue organization. Rescue/Shelter work gave me varied experience with dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments. I am comfortable with both dogs and cats, small to large breeds, and from newborn to elderly. I have treated various kinds of medical conditions ranging from ear and eye infections, skin conditions, post op care, newborn care, and more. I’m also comfortable with deaf or visually impaired animals. My position taught me how to use my positive reinforcement training skills in my everyday interactions with our dogs and cats. This is the approach I take with all animals in my care because it works. Fear Free training is an approach that considers the emotional impact of our actions on the animals in our care. It teaches us how to use stress reduction techniques in all our interactions with them. A shelter is a very stressful place for any animal, so these techniques really help to reduce their anxiety. It is my job to make an animal more comfortable with me and the environment; and I absolutely love this work! Seeing an animal open up to me is the best feeling in the world, and one that I honor by treating them with respect. They are individuals and deserve to be treated as such. I read their body language and use that as a guide on how to approach or interact with them. I’d love to hear about your pets and look forward to meeting some new munchkins! I'm currently working part time. My schedule is fairly open but will change as I take on more walking and training work. I'd like to start with walking, drop ins, and boarding services. I will eventually add training services as well. Safety will always be my number one priority. We can’t walk, play or have any fun if we are not in a safe space first. I adore meeting people’s pets and hearing about the things that make them special and a member of the family. Let me know if your pet displays any reactivity. About: Hicksville/SOB Rd.& OCR... Home FULL TIME, Dogs are in a low stress enviroment. There is a bedroom on the main floor just for dogs who need not climb the stairs, and I will sleep with them too! My yard is fully fenced in a nice neighborhood for walks if requested. I do require a meet and greet prior to sitting your dog to make sure we are a match. Please bring your vet papers of vaccination. I'm home FT Drop off times-flexible Pick up times-Before 1:00 pm, after 1pm you will be charged an additional $25.00 for Boarding. My husband will stay with your dog if I have any errands to run. I will be with your pet as much as possible playing Fetch, Belly Rubs, Snuggling, or just looking out the window watching other doggies walk by or talking to the mailman! I know most of the dogs in my neighborhood from walking my son Mickey. Mickey is super friendly, and cuddly Puggle. He is 10 years old and unfortunately he has limited eye site. He shares, and loves doggies to visit. The reason I do this: I would love 2 dogs, but my husband says there's not enough room on our bed. So having sleep overs fills my need for a 2nd dog. Depending on the time of year along with the weather my husband will walk your dog With Mickey if requested. Bedtime is always on the first floor with me in our guest room,they can snuggle in bed with Mickey and I or curl up in a dog bed in the room. Snacks are given if you allow just bring your own. We have an in ground pool and will personally supervise your dog when the pool is open. If your pet swims, bring their swim vest! Again I do require all vaccines be up to date, and that you have a flea and tick preventive in use of your choice. Please bring that information during our Meet and Greet along with any needs for your fur baby and any questions you may have. Meet and Greet is in my home to assure we are a match allowing us to get acquainted for you to see our surroundings. They are free and can take 15-45 minutes. We will meet according to both our schedules. You can go away on your vacations, or quick day trips knowing your dog is in a happy loving environment. Bring what your dog needs to feel at home, leash, food, their bed/blanket (we have extra beds and dog dishes), favorite toy, or snacks. My house is small but our hearts are big❤️, we have room to make all our pets feel like they are home! I don't like to take more then 3 dogs at a time for sleep overs. That's just enough for me and my husband to stay cozy with your pet and mine. One at a time is preferred. I also administer medication both oral and injected for those needing.
About: My family has a total of 6 dogs ( 5 shihtzus and a german shephard) and I have taken care of them all since the age of 18, along with my 10 year old pup of course! Nothing is too "extra" for this dog mom. I wipe paws and tushies after every walk if you'd like! Picky eaters? I'll stand next to your pup, encourgae him/her to eat with baby talk if that's the only way they eat! I currently work from home full time and I'm available most weekends for walks and overnight stays. I love the company and the push to go outside for a walk!! For overnight stays, I have a clean studio apartment and they are allowed on my couch if comfortable! There is more than enough space for a crate as well. My street is pretty quiet for those pups who get scared of loud noises. No other dogs are living with me at the moment so all my attention is theirs!
About: I’ve always had a dog since I was little and I love dogs. Neighbors and family rely on me at times to watch and walk their dogs. I am a teacher and I have the summers off. I used to have dogs but now it’s just me and my almost 4 year old son. My son goes to daycare and I would love nothing more than to care for your pet. About: Animals are family here! I provide patient, loving care tailored to each animal’s personality, routine, and comfort level, with plenty of playtime, cuddles, and attention. I have experience working with rescue organizations and offer foster care to animals requiring special attention. Currently in service dog training courses with my Australian Shepard. I work from home most days, so pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. I’m only away from home for about six hours on two days each week. Outside of work, I spend much of my time with my animals, gardening, and enjoying our little homestead—especially when the weather is nice! I have a fully fenced yard plus a separate secured area for my chickens. My own dogs, cats, and chickens live here, but visiting pets are always supervised and safely separated when needed.
