“Couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter! I booked with Wenxu and her husband to board Momo for a short 4 day trip out of town. It can be a challenge to find cat-specific sitters, but they were attentive, reliable, and patient. Momo can be a bit shy with new people/environments, and can even get anxious, but they were so patient and made sure he was comfortable while he was boarding with them. They were very communicative from start to end. They made sure to let me know ahead of time what they needed me to provide, vs what supplies they would provide themselves. They also shared regular updates (photos and videos) throughout my trip on how he was doing, which I really appreciated for peace of mind. Their set up for him was great too, to keep him comfortable and entertained for his stay - I think Mowgli really appreciated their huge cat tree! They were so caring, and even went above and beyond by sending him home with a gifted scratcher which was so kind! Thank you both again for taking such great care of Mowgli!!!”
About: I’ve had animals all my life so I’m comfortable being around cats and dogs of all kinds. As an adult I’ve raised two dogs from puppyhood. My dogs lived well into their late teens and were the most spoiled pups you’d ever meet. I’m comfortable with puppies and dogs of all ages. I can adapt to the needs of every animal at the owners request. I have a very consistent schedule that allows me to dedicate time to tend to our best friends. I work close to home and have all of my evenings and weekends completely open. I enjoy going to the local parks for long walks and enjoy the company of a furry friend. About: I've had dogs for my entire life since I was a child. Bred Australian shepherds, so comfortable with puppies. My aussie had 11 pups. Such a wonderful time, bottle feeding. Have gone to many dog training classes. The dogs are part of the family while here. Not caged unless you want them crated when I'm not home. When they are outside I stay with them entire time, not left in back yard without me there to supervise. Simply adore dogs and all their own personalities. I take the time to spend individual and special time with the dog everyday while staying with me. Have my own dog, An Australian shepherd named Jilli, she simply loves having dog friends over so she can play and sharing her dog toys. About: Animals have always made me so happy, I have watched many family pets through my life, spending many hours on the floor playing with them, and taking them for long walks. For the last 3 years, I have provided support to several families in need of home sitting, daily walks and entertainment for their pets. Of course I would be happy to provide references upon request. I work everyday from 8-4! so I can be very flexible and head on over after work. I mainly would be able care for your pet on the weekends, but during the week is fine for me if it’s fine for you :) Caring for a pet to me would mean a clean safe environment. Making sure if it’s a puppy there are no choking hazards around that it’s not gonna harm the animal. Also, tiding the area keeping toys to one location, any accidents the animal may have, I would clean that up. Making sure there’s always fresh clean water for the puppy to drink, and plenty of play time and exercise. Some animals may have long hair and that may require some grooming with a brush.

If there is need during the week I’m usually away from home for 10 hours during the day including my commute time to and from work. We will walk and feed them before we leave in the morning and as soon as either of us gets home will do the same and then again before bedtime. In our home, pets are cared for in a calm, safe environment. We live on the second floor of a house in a suburban neighborhood with sidewalks, which allows for safe, structured walks. While we don’t have direct yard access, we make sure dogs get regular walks, exercise, and attention. I also have a senior cat who is naturally shy and takes time to warm up, so I’m very understanding of pets who may be anxious or need a slower, more gentle approach. In a client’s home, I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or quiet time. Beyond my own dogs, I've spent years babysitting, walking, and watching dogs for friends and neighbors. Animals have always been drawn to me, as I have a natural calm with them that puts even shy or anxious pets at ease. While I'm new to Rover, I bring a lifetime of hands-on experience. Whether it's a long walk, a trip to the park, or just cuddling up with their favorite toys, I pour real love into every visit. I understand how much your dog means to you, and I'll treat them like my own every single time. I recently graduated from college and will be starting my Master of Social Work program at NYU in September. I am available all summer and have plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve! I'm currently based in Plainview, Long Island, where I'm free and flexible for any and all pet care needs throughout the summer. Come September, I'll be living in New York City, where I'll be available for drop-in visits and walks during the week, and open to extended stays on weekends. Whether you're on Long Island or in the city, I'd love to help care for your pup! Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priority. I have experience both crating and not crating dogs, so I'm happy to follow whatever routine works best for your pup. If needed, I can crate them safely when stepping out, or leave them with a frozen treat and a favorite toy to keep them calm and comfortable, especially if they experience separation anxiety, as my own dog does! I tailor every visit to the individual dog. Whether your pup needs a long, energetic walk or a short and easy stroll, I'll follow their lead. I'm always attentive on walks, making sure they don't pick up anything harmful off the street, and equally watchful in the home to keep them safe and out of trouble. Most importantly, your dog will never be short on love. I'll give them all the pets, cuddles, and attention they could ever want because I truly love animals!!
About: I’ve taken care of many of my friends animals when they needed. They have relied on me to walk feed and play with their furry friends! I am mostly free all day most days a week. I currently work in the evening two days a week so I am free almost all of the time! I can keep them crated or not at my house and I have a fenced in yard and two of my own dogs to keep your pet company while in my care!

There is a bedroom on the main floor just for dogs who need not climb the stairs, and I will sleep with them too! My yard is fully fenced in a nice neighborhood for walks if requested. I do require a meet and greet prior to sitting your dog to make sure we are a match. Please bring your vet papers of vaccination. I'm home FT Drop off times-flexible Pick up times-Before 1:00 pm, after 1pm you will be charged an additional $25.00 for Boarding. My husband will stay with your dog if I have any errands to run. I will be with your pet as much as possible playing Fetch, Belly Rubs, Snuggling, or just looking out the window watching other doggies walk by or talking to the mailman! I know most of the dogs in my neighborhood from walking my son Mickey. Mickey is super friendly, and cuddly Puggle. He is 10 years old and unfortunately he has limited eye site. He shares, and loves doggies to visit. The reason I do this: I would love 2 dogs, but my husband says there's not enough room on our bed. So having sleep overs fills my need for a 2nd dog. Depending on the time of year along with the weather my husband will walk your dog With Mickey if requested. Bedtime is always on the first floor with me in our guest room,they can snuggle in bed with Mickey and I or curl up in a dog bed in the room. Snacks are given if you allow just bring your own. We have an in ground pool and will personally supervise your dog when the pool is open. If your pet swims, bring their swim vest! Again I do require all vaccines be up to date, and that you have a flea and tick preventive in use of your choice. Please bring that information during our Meet and Greet along with any needs for your fur baby and any questions you may have. Meet and Greet is in my home to assure we are a match allowing us to get acquainted for you to see our surroundings. They are free and can take 15-45 minutes. We will meet according to both our schedules. You can go away on your vacations, or quick day trips knowing your dog is in a happy loving environment. Bring what your dog needs to feel at home, leash, food, their bed/blanket (we have extra beds and dog dishes), favorite toy, or snacks. My house is small but our hearts are big❤️, we have room to make all our pets feel like they are home! I don't like to take more then 3 dogs at a time for sleep overs. That's just enough for me and my husband to stay cozy with your pet and mine. One at a time is preferred. I also administer medication both oral and injected for those needing.
