I love to tailor the animals care to each specific animal based on their needs, emotional and physical.

About: I’ve had a dog since a child, but about 5 years ago I began volunteering taking care of puppies at a local rescue in Nashville. From there, I adopted my first dog Carmelo, who I had for two years before epilepsy unfortunately shortened his life. After I healed, I began fostering dogs of all ages, mostly older just due to the need being higher. I found I have such a strong love for dogs that most don’t even reach. I wanted to be able to love old dogs who needed homes in their last days so I adopted Peppa who stayed with me until cancer won the fight. I still occasionally foster but since losing my full-time job, I have had to move to this side of things. I have pretty open availability right now. I am open for overnights. If I am able to go do some delivery for a few hours in between, that is so helpful. I follow directions to a T whether inside or out of the clients home. Providing the dog comfort, safety and familiarity is my top priority. I am not trying to raise or train your dogs. I just want to let them know that when you’re gone, they are always in good hands.

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life. I am an animal person much more than a people person. I will truly love and take care of yours like my own. I am a teacher and off for the summer so have lots of time-- Days, nights--it all works for me. I have a huge fenced in clean yard as well and one very friendly small/medium sized dog. I walk my dog and play with her. I feed her once a day. I talk constantly with my pets (one dog, one cat!) I am very attentive to my pets needs and will be to yours as well. I pay attention to how my pets -and yours-are feeling. I greet and yes, even feel guilty if I don't say goodbye to my furbabies :)

About: I grew up with a dog and cats and I’ve always had roommates with animals that I tend to end up being the caretaker of so I have a lot of experience with pets! I house/dog sit regularly for a few people and love to help out when pet parents are away. I currently live with friends who have 2 dogs so taking care of someone else’s pets is like second nature to me! I currently work part-time out of the house so I have available time to be home with your pet! However, I do work in office a couple days a week. Getting to know each pet is important-what they tend to get into, anxieties they might have, things they enjoy, etc. I’m very detail oriented so keeping your pet safe is something I am always watching for!

“Wendy knew exactly how to meet my timid girl, Bella. She was patient and kind and read her behavior like she was a professional dog trainer! I'm so impressed. She gave me great feedback on Bella and was flexible on bookings. I would hire her again!”

About: Ever since I was born, my family has owned pets - mostly cats and dogs. When I was about 7 years old, I adopted a kitten of my own. Since then, I’ve owned a guinea pig, a cat, and hermit crabs. I also have experience with walking and house-sitting for dogs and cats. I work part-time at Visionworks, so I have a flexible schedule. I'm usually available evenings and mornings. On my days off, I am also able to housesit / pet sit throughout the day. Since my work schedule often changes, please contact me for specific availability. I would love to come visit your pet, feed them, and help them with potty breaks as needed. While I am not able to watch your animal at my own home, I am happy to come to your house for drop-ins or overnight stays with your pets.

Whether they're staying with me or I’m in their home, I try to make pets feel as comfy and loved as possible. Stacey L.
“We have a mixed breed rescue named Cooper. Like most rescues, they tend to be on the protective side...and then there was Stacey. Everytime that someone showed up at the front door, they were greeted with teeth, raised hair, and a low, guttural growl that would drive away even the toughest of people. We were taking a long weekend away and planned on taking Coop but unfortunately, every place we checked didn't allow pets, or was ridiculously expensive, so regrettably we decided to board our boy. While searching for reputable, respected boarding houses we kept coming up with more questions than answers so we took the plunge and decided to look for in-home pet sitters. After an exhausted search, we found Stacey and invited her over for a "meet & greet". Obviously, we were very skeptical that Stacey and Coop would connect, but much to our surprise, when she entered our home and Coop saw that we were comfortable with her being there, he walked over to her, and after thoroughly licking her face and nudging her for attention, we knew we had made the right decision. We would recommend Stacey to anyone that is looking for a kind, reliable, trustworthy pet sitter who is absolutely great with dogs...even Cooper. :-)”

Tara L.
“I have trusted my pets with Tara for years and she is simply the best! Tara is reliable, responsive and communicative while I'm gone, which gives me such peace of mind when I'm away from my fur baby. I always know he will have the very best care. He might actually prefer Tara to me! I trust her implicitly and am lucky to have her as a pet caregiver!”

Annette G.
“Annette has watched our dog multiple times while we've been out of town. She is trustworthy, responsible, and great with animals. We knew our dog was well loved while we were away so we never had to worry. We would not hesitate to hire her again!”

Place One dog parents share their Rover experiences
Molly was wonderful. She provided dog walking services for one of my dogs for 5 evenings. She always arrived right on time. She took the time to read my dog’s profile to familiarize herself with his idiosyncrasies. Although somewhat unusual, she allowed me to walk my other dog with her. She was very gentle and kind with my dogs and helped me immensely. I would absolutely book her again for this service.

She is amazing! We have a German Shepard and a sr cocker spaniel (who is stand offish) and she was so great with them. We will be using her in the future. Communication was STELLAR! She went above and beyond for our dogs and gave us so much mental peace while in our vacation.

We couldn’t have asked for a better walker! Kat is our neighbor and she took amazing care of our dog for 7 days - walking him every day at the same time, giving him treats, and keeping us updated with photos. It was clear our dog felt comfortable and happy. Kat is kind, reliable, and attentive. We’re so grateful and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for trustworthy pet care!

Absolutely AMAZING! This was my first time ever leaving my boys with a dog walker and I was a bit nervous but my boys loved her to the point one of my Dogs tried to leave with her one day lol! She brought them toys took them to the park ran them the whole nine ! She was very communicative and let me know everything. I would definitely book her a million times more! Thank you Macaya for loving on my boys 💕

Meadow is such a life saver for when we have to go out of town. This past visit she also had to care for our sick dog and coordination with vet and meds. Without her I would have had to fly back from out of the country. She is also beyond awesome with our 3 cats. She takes lots of great pictures and her recap stories are so thoughtful and entertaining. Our fur family adores her and so do we! Thanks Meadow <3

So so happy that I found Matheus and Bianca to care for my two kids while I was out of town. Unfortunately, the sitter that had agreed to care for them canceled last minute so I scrambled around looking for people who seemed skilled and trustworthy. They came the same day to meet my dogs and they hit it off immediately. Good vibes all the way! Instructions were followed thoroughly and everything went smoothly. I am so grateful they were so good to my babies and for being available at such short notice. I got updates every single day, some very cute photos and feedback about how the dogs were doing on their walks. Pet sitting can be a nerve wrecking experience esp since my dogs don’t know many other humans; however, this was a 10/10 experience - we will def be booking for future walks. I highly recommend hiring and entrusting them with your pets. They’re the best! Thank you guys!
