About: I've cared for pets—my own and those of friends and family—for years, and it's a passion of mine. I love cats and dogs equally, and at home I've got two sweet, energetic Bengal cats who keep me on my toes! Whether it's playtime, walks, feeding, or just cuddles, I'll treat your pets like part of my own family. Reliable, attentive, and always happy to help! I have a flexible schedule as I work from home and live in the Ridgefield area. I am happy to travel to Salmon Creek, La Center or Northern Vancouver. Pets do best in familiar environments — especially cats — so I always come to your home rather than the other way around. I treat every pet like my own: love, attention, and energy matched to their activity level. Just tell me what they need, and I'll take care of it. While you're away, I'll send frequent updates so you stay connected, and will stick to their normal routine to keep them comfortable. I've worked with all kinds of breeds, personalities, and quirks. Earning trust with both pets and their owners is my top priority — love and play are a close second. I'm happy to bring your pet to dog parks, rivers or trails so they can have fun while you are away.

Karalynn did a great job, was prompt with her visits and made sure my kitties were fed, watered, and their litter boxes were clean. I have feral kitties so they were hiding during her visits. She sent photos after each visit which I really appreciated. She also quickly responded to any text I sent her about my kitties during my trip away, loved that. I felt they were in very good hands while I was gone. I would work with her again.

About: Hi! I’m a dedicated pet sitter who understands that every dog has unique needs, energy levels, and routines, and I take that seriously. I’ve cared for both cats and dogs since my teens, with experience across small and large breeds, senior dogs, and pets who require medication. I’m also comfortable caring for dogs with more complex needs, including epilepsy, and I prioritize calm, attentive handling to keep them safe and supported. What sets me apart is that I don’t just “watch” dogs, I focus on structured, engaging care that helps them feel balanced and happy while you’re away, whether its walks tailored to their energy level, mental enrichment and engagement during visits, consistent routines to support behavior, or lots of affection and attention. I’m very active and love being outdoors, so I’m happy to include longer walks, hikes, or more engaging outings if that’s something your dog enjoys. Since I work a full time job from home, I have a flexible schedule and am willing and able to give your pet the attention it needs throughout the day. Routine comes easy for me, and my work schedule makes it easy to adapt to whatever you need for your pet. I can also send regular updates and photos, so you always know how your pet is doing and can feel completely at ease. I treat every pet like my own (I have 3 dogs!), with patience, attentiveness, and genuine care. I’d love to connect and see if I'd be a good fit for you and your pet! *Starting June 2026, for any house sitting requests, I will be unable to sleep overnight in the clients home. I am able to house sit any time during the day and stay with your pet as long or as little as needed, however, if you need me for multiple days in a row, I will leave your place at night around 930-10pm and return in the morning around 7am.*

About: I’ve been dog sitting for different families for about two years and have really enjoyed it. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable when their owners are away, so I do my best to keep their routines consistent and give them plenty of attention, care, and affection. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playing, cleaning up after them, or just spending time with them, I treat every dog as if they were my own. Families have trusted me to care for their dogs, and I take that responsibility seriously. I do work part time, I work full 8 hour days on Thursdays and sometimes Fridays. The other days I work 5-6 hours. I’m usually off around 4:30 or 5 but my start times vary. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal as possible. I follow all instructions provided by the owner, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and any special care requirements. I make sure pets have plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while also respecting the client’s home and keeping it clean and secure. My goal is for both pets and owners to feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while they’re apart

Megan was an amazing help to my family, not to mention she became a best friend to my sweet GSD, Cora! I had just started a new job and had a ton of anxiety over Cora being able to still get out during the day and get the exercise that she needed. Megan was able to not only walk, but also play with Cora 3 days a week while I was in the office. What you should know about Cora is that she is a 16-month-old GSD with a ton of energy. She's also a big girl and can be difficult to handle on a leash, especially when she sees other doggies! Megan learned how to train and keep Cora under control on walks and developed a beautiful trusting bond with her. I will continue to choose Megan in the future for any of Cora's needs. She truly is the best!

My cats are very shy so I don’t think she got a chance to meet them which is fine. I am used to that. The main concern is that they are fed watered in our visited Daily. She did an excellent job. Communication was great. I will definitely use her again.

As of August 2026, there are 3,412 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Pioneer. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Pioneer. On Rover:

  • 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
