About: As a loving dog mom who works from home, I would love to open my home to others who need assistance. Our house has a large open shared yard with plenty of space to explore. I have two little dogs and would love to help you socialize your own little dogs. For overnight visits, I have crates available if they are crate trained or a cuddle spot next to me if that works better. My house is very dog friendly and they are welcome to snuggle up on the couch or watch the birds from the balcony. I am comfortable providing medicine or special care if that is something that is needed. Let's work together. My partner and I both work from home and alternate pet tasks, so there is always a human available. We'd love to open our home to other pups for days or nights as needed. We have a large open unfenced green space available, with two sweet socialized pups of our own to provide interaction whether that be playing or just snuggling. Our Harley is blind, so we have good experience with a dog needing a little extra support.

About: 2025 update. My lap is nearly always occupied by a 10 year old black cat named Darth Vader. Then theres Mimi, another (softer) black cat and Murder Thumbs, the polydactyl calico floof (“the Girls”) I’ve been around animals as long as I can remember. For many years I had large dogs, pitbulls and mixes. Ours have crossed the rainbow bridge, but that didn’t remove my talent and care with canines. I currently work full time in Everett. My profession will take priority, but I do not work overtime, nor on weekends. I generally walk my dog one of his 2 daily walks and my partner the second. This seems like a strange question. I care for my pets by feeding them, making sure they have water, cuddling and loving them, walks, and sometimes just naps together.

About: I've worked at the Seattle Animal Shelter (learning to understand dogs' behaviors and needs), and have had GREAT dogs most of my life. I lost my furry best friend last year to cancer, and needed to take some time off. I work from home, just bought a great new place (with lots of fun places for dogs to enjoy). I'm looking to do Rover and take great care of your dog(s) before I jump back into dog ownership. Happy to answer any questions you have. Owning a company gives me the most flexible schedule possible. In fact, I'm "training myself" to get ready for semi-retirement, and would like to spend more time doing things I love (caretaking dogs is one of those things), so your pup(s) will get plenty of attention. My house is dog-proofed, and a new fence was just built around our great outdoor space (Plenty of room for dogs to excersise and potty).

About: I have had animals my entire life and they are my passion. I am also very passionate about training and have spent countless hours learning the latest techniques and tricks. I have worked in the animal field for the last 6 years. The past 5 as a triage nurse at a large specialty and emergency hospital. I am the one many of the doctors I work with go to for their pet sitting needs. Working in emergency has prepared me to take on all kinds of unique challenges. I have a Belgian malinois/German shepherd myself so have personal as well as professional experience handling the pointy-bitey breeds (they're actually my favorite) I work sun-monday but most of the time I bring the dogs I'm sitting with me to work. We have a reception team that acts as a doggy daycare and they are always loving on everyone. Some dogs dont like going and prefer being homebodies, which is also wonderful! In that case I will stop by on my lunch break At work, I do my best to make every visit as positive as possible. Meeting the pets where they're comfortable and going at their pace. As an ER tech I'm trained to recognize signs of distress and illness and determine the severity of such to determine level of care needed. As well as having extensive experience handling special needs pets both my own as well as my patients. And both medically and behavioral special needs.

About: My husband and I both grew up with pets and are very familiar with the care that they require. Over the past 10 years, we have opened our home to pet-sitting for friends and family while they are out of town. So far, we have cared for dogs, birds, and guinea pigs. We don't have any pets of our own, so our family loves the opportunity to care for other people's animals. I am a stay-at-home mom and caring for your pet will fit perfectly with caring for our kids! (They have similar needs, don't they? ;) ) Besides a few commitments I have throughout the week and getting our three kids off to school or their activities - I am generally home, ready to love on your fur baby! We have a fully fenced in back yard to keep your dog safe during potty breaks and while they run around. We live in a quiet neighborhood on a cul-de-sac and frequently go on walks with our kids (often to the nearby interurban trail) and we would love to have your dog join us! We have plenty of indoor space for your pet to make themselves at home in too, including safe spaces to put a cage/kennel if needed. Although we don't have pets of our own, our kids (ages 8, 6 and 4) have had plenty of experience caring for them and are very gentle and trustworthy around them.
