About: I've had experience taking care of both dogs and cats. My friends and family have often trusted me with taking care of their pets, which included feeding and walking them. With my former dog, I did basic training in commands (i.e. sit, stay, come) and know how to be firm when necessary. As a recent cat owner, I've learned the reins on taking care of a cat and how to live with one as well. Currently I'm freelancing, so I'm pretty flexible on availability with enough notice! Walking and playing with your pets is a fun activity I'm always down for. I can take care of cats and small dogs within my living space. I do not have a fenced backyard for dogs, however I am able to provide frequent walks and play time when needed due to my freelance schedule. I also have separate rooms if needed to cool off for stimulated pets.

About: I’ve spent my life around animals, growing up with big dogs and cats and now working at an animal rescue. I’m very comfortable with administering medications, high energy dogs, and senior and puppy care. Because of my background in animal welfare, I have a special patience for nervous dogs who might be wary of men, and pets/breeds who might be labelled “difficult”. I know how to give them the space they need to feel secure and build the trust needed to keep them happy while you’re away. I adore animals of all kinds and can’t wait to get to know your furry family members! 🐾🩷 I work from home most days, and am lucky to have a 4-day work week. All that means I spend a lot of time with my pets! I’m an early riser, so in the mornings me and my dog will often be on local trails, off leash parks, at Double Bluff, or wandering our sleepy Clinton neighborhood. We love to play in my fully fenced yard regularly throughout the day. Fridays and my weekends are all about enjoying the beautiful PNW with my pup and I’d love to bring your pets along for the ride! In my home, pets are welcome on the furniture and treated like members of the family. Paws are wiped off when we come back inside, and everyone has free roam of the house. When necessary we have gates to seperate upstairs and downstairs areas, so if your pet needs some private time on their own couch, it’s available to them! At your house, I treat your space with the same level of care I give your pets. I’ll make sure the mail is brought in, your plants are watered, the house stays tidy, and the locks are triple checked. Because I work with rescued animals, I’m also very intentional about maintaining your pet’s routine to minimize any anxiety while you’re away. When we’re out, I’m hyper-vigilant about leash safety and harness checks. If your dog is a flight risk or just easily spooked, I have the experience to keep them focused, happy, and secure. I know I need lots of updates when I’m on vacation, so you’ll get plenty of photos from me from each visit! No judgement if you’re a helicopter pet parent, I promise 😉

I am also Pet First Aid & CPR certified because your pet’s safety is my highest priority. If your dog is used to sleeping in bed, they’re more than welcome to sleep in bed with us. My husband and I always joke that our bed belongs more to the pets than it does to us! ❤️🐾 To me, pets are family. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, peaceful, and enriching environment where every dog feels completely at home while you’re away. I stay at home, your dog will enjoy companionship, personalized attention, and dedicated care throughout the day. My home is shared with three friendly resident pets an 8 month old puppy who loves meeting new friends and two gentle cats. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I only accept dogs that are friendly with cats. Please note that I do not offer pick-up or drop-off services unless transportation is arranged through Uber or another ride service. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. Although I live in an apartment, my community offers a large, fully fenced dog park, and we’re located right next to the river with beautiful walking paths. We also have easy access to Forest Park and nearby hiking trails, giving your dog plenty of opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and outdoor adventures. My apartment community also features a professional pet washing station, similar to a pet grooming salon. I keep a clean, calm, and pet-friendly home where every dog is supervised and treated with the same love, patience, and care as if they were my own.
