About: Hello, I'm Jenn! I started cat sitting for friends and now I've already been reviewed as a cat whisperer! I’ve had cats since grade school. I've also just started a Vet Assistant program and volunteering at a shelter so I can work more with animals. My experience started when “Kitty Cat” (the only name she would come to) came on our porch on Christmas Eve. We had her for many years. We also had Rascal around the same time. He was spunky and Kitty Cat begrudgingly tolerated him. Later on, I adopted my sweet Connie when a roommate left her behind. I had her for 16 years. She was probably up to 20 years old before she became ill and crossed the Rainbow Bridge (I met her before I met my husband). After we were ready, we adopted two stray kitten boys, Laszlo and Nandor (yes, named after two vampire characters from a sitcom). We take them out in our yard on a leash almost every day. They are black cats but we believe they are good luck! I know what my cats mean to me, and I’m sure your cats mean as much to you. I'm ready to show up with a notebook to take notes and take the best care of your fur baby (babies).

I felt that was the best arrangement for this young male kitten I adopted only a few months ago. Nathan provided a "top of the charts" kitten sitting service and the two of them kept each other busy with play time and plenty of company. About: Hi, my name is marissa, i have always grown up taking care of dogs, we have fostered a lot of dogs and we absolutely adore each and every one of them! i do have 3 children under 4 in home as well as 2 dogs of my own so they need to be dog and children friendly! i am a stay at home mama to 3 beautiful children and it’s driving me nuts to not be able to work so i am hoping rover is going to be able to help me with that! we have a fully fenced in back yard with a 2 story house for them to roam and play! i have lots of toys so no need for those! we have 3 boys under 4 so no aggressive dogs! Potty training is preferred but its okay if not as i can accommodate to 30 min to an hour between potty breaks!

About: I've had experience taking care of both dogs and cats. My friends and family have often trusted me with taking care of their pets, which included feeding and walking them. With my former dog, I did basic training in commands (i.e. sit, stay, come) and know how to be firm when necessary. As a recent cat owner, I've learned the reins on taking care of a cat and how to live with one as well. Currently I'm freelancing, so I'm pretty flexible on availability with enough notice! Walking and playing with your pets is a fun activity I'm always down for. I can take care of cats and small dogs within my living space. I also have separate rooms if needed to cool off for stimulated pets.

In my home, pets are welcome on the furniture and treated like members of the family. Paws are wiped off when we come back inside, and everyone has free roam of the house. When necessary we have gates to seperate upstairs and downstairs areas, so if your pet needs some private time on their own couch, it’s available to them! At your house, I treat your space with the same level of care I give your pets. I’ll make sure the mail is brought in, your plants are watered, the house stays tidy, and the locks are triple checked. Because I work with rescued animals, I’m also very intentional about maintaining your pet’s routine to minimize any anxiety while you’re away. When we’re out, I’m hyper-vigilant about leash safety and harness checks. If your dog is a flight risk or just easily spooked, I have the experience to keep them focused, happy, and secure. I know I need lots of updates when I’m on vacation, so you’ll get plenty of photos from me from each visit! No judgement if you’re a helicopter pet parent, I promise 😉

About: I've been a dog handler for about eight years. I started at Meg's Dog House as my first job out of high school and learned everything I know about dogs in my 7 years working there. When Covid hit, Meg and her husband retired and I moved to Seattle where I have spent the last year working as a live in caregiver until recently moving into my own place. I just moved to Arizona after a decade of wanting to make the switch (grew up in Washington and hate the weather) and would love to pick up some side jobs here and there. While Rover cannot be my fulltime job due to the inconsistencies of bookings, I do maintain a main job but I do dedicate most my available free time to the dogs I'm watching when I am off work and schedules would be thoroughly discussed before booking. I have two dogs and two kittens, so I'm used to having animals and catering to them around my schedule. Currently I have open availability but this will change when I get a job so it just depends on my new hours but generally speaking I like a minimum of 3 walks daily, with at least one of them being to an area where they can safely run off leash or on a long line to stretch their legs. However the client prefers. I am adaptable and willing to learn. I have worked with special needs dogs, older dogs, and have a lot of experience with puppies. I am a novice trainer and groomer as well so my whole world is centered around animals!

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a pre-teen, but fell in love with animal care fully in my junior year of high school, after I began volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter. Since then, I have changed positions and worked as a post-surgery volunteer with PAWS, transporting and handling anesthetized animals after they underwent surgeries. This summer I am also interning at PAWS again, this time as a Foster Care Intern, where I manage the entire foster care system behind the scenes. Additionally, I have worked with large animals such as horses while volunteering, managed and milked dairy cattle, and took care of pigs as my job on the side. I will continue to grow my portfolio, as I am a Pre-Vet Animal Science major at Washington State University with the goal of becoming a veterinarian one day. I am currently on summer break in my hometown (Everett) and have pretty open availability. I intern at paws from 8am-12pm on Sundays & Mondays, and 12-5pm on Thursdays, but other than that, I am free for walks, house sitting, or drop ins! Safety is extremely important during both house sitting & walks! For walks, I like to make sure dogs stay on the side of the sidewalk away from the road, as well as being properly harnessed and equipped with essential needs like poop bags and water incase of an emergency. I also keep a sharp eye out for other dogs to steer clear from unwanted interactions. Additionally, during house sitting, outside doors stay locked at all times, and your pet is watched 24/7. No escapes will happen on my watch! I am open to following any other rules, expectations or suggestions you have regarding your pet & house’s safety!

I live in a well-maintained apartment that has been fully dog-proofed to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for furry friends. The space features large open windows and skylights that allow an abundance of natural sunlight to fill the home, making it an ideal setting for dogs who enjoy relaxing and sunbathing as my own Annie once did. I also have a large crate available for dogs who are crate trained and find comfort in it. Dogs are welcome on the couch, as I believe they should feel at home, relaxed, and included during their stay. My goal is to provide a calm, secure, and welcoming environment where your dog can feel comfortable and cared for at all times.

About: I have been around animals since I was little. I had cats growing up and I loved that but having a dog was always my dream. I now have 2 cats and 2 dogs that we have made a little family over the course of 8 years. I love both and will treat yours like I do my own. I have found so many clients who their pets have become like my family as well. I’m a licensed esthetician so my schedule will be based around the appointments I have booked that day. I can try and be flexible when booking a stay if I have enough notice to block out times to care for dogs if they need a mid day potty break or something. I am available 7 days a week though to dog/cat sit in people’s home, along side my work schedule if that’s not an issue for you. I have a small dog who’s almost 9 and a large dog who just over 1 years old and (2) 5 year old cats. I scoop their litter box everyday and give them pets and love. My dogs loves running in our backyard. I will walk the dog let them roam if that’s allowed in yard and play with your kitties.
About: I have nearly a decade of pet care experience with all kinds of animals of all ages, sociability levels, and abilities. I can exercise pets however they prefer, administer medications, follow special feeding/diet instructions, bathe pets, and provide specialized care for senior or disabled pets. I have a part-time remote job with no set hours, so my schedule is incredibly flexible. I am happy to accommodate any schedule preferences or last minute changes. Because I live in an apartment, I can only provide pet-sitting service in clients’ homes at this time. I have cared for pets in several homes, and I highly prioritize trust and care of my clients’ homes. My schedule is flexible, I do boarding on regular days and holidays. I normally walk dogs at least 4 times a day, sometimes even more, depending on the needs of your dog. I have a fenced yard for your furry kid to enjoy being outside. My house is clean and safe for your pet. We are a non-smoking family. My husband and I are constantly at home, so your furry kid will have plenty of attention and company. Your furry kid is free to walk around our house, except for the bedrooms. We do not keep your pet caged or in a limited-access area. Our house floor is mainly wooden floors, which are easy to clean. Therefore, your pet is more than welcome to walk around the house and have fun. I know pets are anxious about a new environment. For that, you can count on me. We always provide a warm, welcoming environment, and we will comfort your pet to make them feel accompanied.
“Knox loves Hallie! I was looking for a sitter and interviewing folks, but Knox was not having it or picking anybody until Hallie came along. He gets really excited when she pulls up and comes home a happy hound. She’s on time, responsive and even walked in the pouring rain for an hour without a coat. About: 2026 update. My lap is nearly always occupied by an 11 year old black cat named Darth Vader. He is bold and social with people, cats, and dogs. Then theres our oldest, Mimi, a 13 year old black cat who is much more timid. Thumbs, our polydactyl calico floof is 6 years old now. Thumbs also hides out often. Both girls have come out of their hidden spots once used to guests. I’ve been around animals as long as I can remember. For many years I had large dogs, pitbulls and mixes. Most of my pets have started off as rescues, but all became loved family members. Our dogs have all crossed the rainbow bridge, but that didn’t remove my talent, passion and care with canines. I currently work part time in Mukilteo. My profession will take priority for roughly 6 hours a week. I do not work overtime, nor on weekends. This seems like a strange question. I care for my pets by feeding them, making sure they have water, cuddling and loving them, walks, and sometimes just naps together.
