About: Hello, I'm Jenn! I started cat sitting for friends and now I've already been reviewed as a cat whisperer! I’ve had cats since grade school. I've also just started a Vet Assistant program and volunteering at a shelter so I can work more with animals. My experience started when “Kitty Cat” (the only name she would come to) came on our porch on Christmas Eve. We had her for many years. We also had Rascal around the same time. He was spunky and Kitty Cat begrudgingly tolerated him. Later on, I adopted my sweet Connie when a roommate left her behind. I had her for 16 years. She was probably up to 20 years old before she became ill and crossed the Rainbow Bridge (I met her before I met my husband). After we were ready, we adopted two stray kitten boys, Laszlo and Nandor (yes, named after two vampire characters from a sitcom). We take them out in our yard on a leash almost every day. They are black cats but we believe they are good luck! I know what my cats mean to me, and I’m sure your cats mean as much to you. I'm ready to show up with a notebook to take notes and take the best care of your fur baby (babies).

About: I’ve been surrounded by cats for as long as I can remember. My mother was a cat lover, adopting 2 kitties before I was born and working at banfield pet hospital. Growing up, my chore was to feed our kitty. I also took care of street cats that came to the door with my mom. When I turned 17, I started volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter, where I gained more experience by socializing with cats for multiple hours at a time. Meeting dozens of cats with different personalities taught me excellent skills; I know how to understand cat body language well, along with how to interact with them in a meaningful matter. Additionally, working at PAWS (Progressive Animal Welfare Society) as a Post-Surgery volunteer taught me how to handle every type of cat behavior in a clinical setting. If a kitty is sick, moody, ect, I will know how to handle them well. Animals are my favorite thing in the world—I want to be a veterinarian when I grow up—and spending time with them is my passion.

About: Hi, my name is marissa, i have always grown up taking care of dogs, we have fostered a lot of dogs and we absolutely adore each and every one of them! i do have 3 children under 4 in home as well as 2 dogs of my own so they need to be dog and children friendly! i am a stay at home mama to 3 beautiful children and it’s driving me nuts to not be able to work so i am hoping rover is going to be able to help me with that! we have a fully fenced in back yard with a 2 story house for them to roam and play! i have lots of toys so no need for those! we have 3 boys under 4 so no aggressive dogs! Potty training is preferred but its okay if not as i can accommodate to 30 min to an hour between potty breaks!

About: I have many years of experience with dogs and cats. My pit mix, "Cash" is couch potato-esque but I take him walking or to the park for ball chasing, every day. I enjoy meeting dogs of all kinds! Your pet's safety is my priority while in my care. I work from home part-time and am a homebody. I have a fully-fenced backyard with an outdoor lounge that is great place for dogs to play and hang out. About: I've been a dog handler for about eight years. I started at Meg's Dog House as my first job out of high school and learned everything I know about dogs in my 7 years working there. When Covid hit, Meg and her husband retired and I moved to Seattle where I have spent the last year working as a live in caregiver until recently moving into my own place. I just moved to Arizona after a decade of wanting to make the switch (grew up in Washington and hate the weather) and would love to pick up some side jobs here and there. Currently I have open availability but this will change when I get a job so it just depends on my new hours but generally speaking I like a minimum of 3 walks daily, with at least one of them being to an area where they can safely run off leash or on a long line to stretch their legs. However the client prefers. I am adaptable and willing to learn. I have worked with special needs dogs, older dogs, and have a lot of experience with puppies. I am a novice trainer and groomer as well so my whole world is centered around animals!

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a pre-teen, but fell in love with animal care fully in my junior year of high school, after I began volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter. Since then, I have changed positions and worked as a post-surgery volunteer with PAWS, transporting and handling anesthetized animals after they underwent surgeries. This summer I am also interning at PAWS again, this time as a Foster Care Intern, where I manage the entire foster care system behind the scenes. Additionally, I have worked with large animals such as horses while volunteering, managed and milked dairy cattle, and took care of pigs as my job on the side. I will continue to grow my portfolio, as I am a Pre-Vet Animal Science major at Washington State University with the goal of becoming a veterinarian one day. I am currently on summer break in my hometown (Everett) and have pretty open availability. I intern at paws from 8am-12pm on Sundays & Mondays, and 12-5pm on Thursdays, but other than that, I am free for walks, house sitting, or drop ins! Safety is extremely important during both house sitting & walks! For walks, I like to make sure dogs stay on the side of the sidewalk away from the road, as well as being properly harnessed and equipped with essential needs like poop bags and water incase of an emergency. I also keep a sharp eye out for other dogs to steer clear from unwanted interactions. Additionally, during house sitting, outside doors stay locked at all times, and your pet is watched 24/7. My goal is to ensure that every dog in my care feels safe, loved, accepted, and well looked after, especially during times when their owners are unable to be present. Your dog’s comfort, happiness, and well-being are always my highest priorities. 🐾 I work full time; however, my schedule is flexible, allowing me to dedicate time, attention and care to your furry friend. I am available to take your friend on regular walks, provide drop-in visits, and closely monitor their well-being when you are unable to do so. My priority is to ensure that your pet remains comfortable, safe, and well cared for throughout the day, receiving the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. I live in a well-maintained apartment that has been fully dog-proofed to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for furry friends. The space features large open windows and skylights that allow an abundance of natural sunlight to fill the home, making it an ideal setting for dogs who enjoy relaxing and sunbathing as my own Annie once did. I also have a large crate available for dogs who are crate trained and find comfort in it. Dogs are welcome on the couch, as I believe they should feel at home, relaxed, and included during their stay. My goal is to provide a calm, secure, and welcoming environment where your dog can feel comfortable and cared for at all times.

About: I have been caring for people and animals all of my life. I have worked with in home care, as a nanny, and volunteered at animal shelters. I currently work from home so I have plenty of time to walk the dog, make house visits, or hold down the fort while you’re out for the weekend. About: I've taken all kinds of dogs since I was 18. I love dogs more than cats. Love to walk with them, play, and board. I am very detail oriented. Know when dog wants to go mind there own business.. I am available all week except Sunday. I'll be happy to watch your dog. Or go for a walk with your family member! Play is another thing I don't mind doing it while boarding.. I have a big, fully fenced yard. I do have a dog of my own. He is 4, Belgian Shepherd. Very smart, calm, and happy dog. He gets along well. No kids. Smoke free home!
“Knox loves Hallie! I was looking for a sitter and interviewing folks, but Knox was not having it or picking anybody until Hallie came along. He gets really excited when she pulls up and comes home a happy hound. She’s on time, responsive and even walked in the pouring rain for an hour without a coat. About: 2026 update. My lap is nearly always occupied by an 11 year old black cat named Darth Vader. He is bold and social with people, cats, and dogs. Then theres our oldest, Mimi, a 13 year old black cat who is much more timid. Thumbs, our polydactyl calico floof is 6 years old now. Thumbs also hides out often. Both girls have come out of their hidden spots once used to guests. I’ve been around animals as long as I can remember. For many years I had large dogs, pitbulls and mixes. Most of my pets have started off as rescues, but all became loved family members. Our dogs have all crossed the rainbow bridge, but that didn’t remove my talent, passion and care with canines. I currently work part time in Mukilteo. My profession will take priority for roughly 6 hours a week. I do not work overtime, nor on weekends. This seems like a strange question. I care for my pets by feeding them, making sure they have water, cuddling and loving them, walks, and sometimes just naps together.
