“Ceinwein did a great job and was available with short notice. Very reliable and experienced with dealing with an elderly dog and giving medication. Will definitely use her services again!”

“I couldn't ask for a better caretaker of my elderly cat than Tonya. Tonya's notes and pictures are a delight to get every day. I can see in my kitty's eyes that she is happy for the warm and comforting visits and the yummy eats. I can't say enough about Tonya's responsible and caring nature. I highly recommend her!!!!!”

“Morgan has been great with my two male Cockapoos. Tiger who is a challenge to many caregivers really took a liking to Morgan Immediately. She is a natural with animals and I am so happy we found her. It gives me a sense of peace coming home knowing that the dogs experienced a positive sitting session with Morgan!”

About: I have dog sat and dog walked all different breeds since I was young kid, starting with family and neighbors. I then went on to work at a Doggy Daycare for one year, where I really understood how to care for, command, and protect all different types of dogs. I am the biggest animal lover specifically with dogs and I want to be someone to give your dog love, exercise, and attention! I have a very flexible schedule and can be available both during typical work hours if you have a 9-5 or night shifts if you work overnights and anything in between! I am fully dog safety trained and can provide the dogs with whatever care their owners would like whether that is during walks or check ins, or overnight stays!
“Kristina did a great job this weekend with our 2 medium sized dogs. She followed all our picky directions and kept the space tidy. We came home to very happy peaceful pups. Definitely would have her back”

“Becky was patient, compassionate and kind to our senior girl. She even put up with this first time cat Mom! Love the Rover Card that gives updates and pics! I will definitely have Becky assist in the future. Highly recommend Becky!!”

About: Dogs have been part of my family for many years, and I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs. I've cared for dogs through every stage of life—from energetic puppies to seniors who need a little more patience and attention. As an owner of both a Jack Russells and a cattle dog, I'm very familiar with intelligent, high-energy breeds and comfortable caring for and managing multiple dogs at the same time. What sets me apart is the level of care and responsibility I bring to every visit. I know how much trust it takes to have someone enter your home and care for a member of your family. I'll follow your dog's normal routine as closely as possible, give them plenty of attention, and make sure you receive updates so you know they're happy and well cared for. Whether it's a good walk, a potty break, mealtime, playtime, or simply some companionship while you're away, my goal is pretty simple: care for your dog the same way I'd want someone to care for mine. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine with my own dogs, so adding walks and drop-in visits for other dogs fits very naturally into my day. I currently have a flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate morning, midday, and afternoon visits, as well as some evenings and weekends. I enjoy being active and getting outside, and I'm happy to tailor each visit to your dog's normal routine—whether that's a good walk to burn off some energy, a quick potty break, mealtime, playtime, or simply some company and attention while you're away. I also try to maintain enough flexibility in my schedule to be there when pet parents need a little extra help. When caring for pets in their own home, my priority is to keep things as familiar, safe, and comfortable as possible. I follow each owner's instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walking routines, medications when needed, playtime, and any house rules or special needs their dog may have. Before heading out for a walk, I always make sure collars, harnesses, and leashes are secure, and I'm attentive to our surroundings, other dogs, traffic, and anything that could make your dog uncomfortable. Having owned energetic breeds including Jack Russells and a cattle dog, I understand the importance of staying alert and being prepared for the unexpected. I also recognize that you're trusting me with your home as well as your pet. I'll treat both with the same care and respect I'd expect from someone coming into my own home. I'll keep you updated during visits and walks so you can feel confident that your dog is safe, happy, and getting the attention they deserve.

“I am so very appreciative of Tricia! I love my doggos with my whole heart, and I wouldn't trust them with just anyone. I knew right away, and my dogs knew right away, Tricia was one of the good ones. Thank you so much for taking care of my babies!”

“Very amazing and friendly people. Responded to my request last minute and provided superb communication regarding my son lol. I would highly recommend to book with Wendy and Daniel. I look forward to booking with them again.”

“Alexandra is accommodating and reliable. I love how aware she was of my newish 4YO shelter dog needs: potty break, interactive toys and ending with snuggles on the couch. With her updates and pictures I know my pup enjoyed her visit. Highly recommend 😊”

“Katie was wonderful. It was our first time to have someone do drop-in visits for our cat, Moscato. We were away for a few days and Katie kept us posted with photos and how my cat was doing. We are grateful for Katie. She is very caring, attentive and most of all trustworthy. My Moscato was well taken cared of just like her own. I feel comfortable knowing that I have Katie to contact when something comes up and need care for my cat. I highly recommend Katie!! Truly a Star sitter!!”

“Katryna was a pleasure to work with. Especially when my dogs were not on their best behavior, she was able to approach the situation with a can do attitude, and did a great job with them.”

“Nicole is so thoughtful in being accommodating. And she seems to have a great time with Wilbur as he certainly seems to have a great time with her. It’s a good peace of mind knowing she’s caring for my spoiled brat.”

About: Hi everyone! I've had dogs since I was a baby. My first dog, Kayla actually taught me how to walk! I absolutely love pups & am hoping to open a sanctuary for senior & disabled dogs one day. For now, I'm hoping to be able to leave my corporate job & take care of your dogs. Absolute dream job💙 My goal is to make your dogs as happy & comfortable as possible. If they're happy, they won't be stressed and neither will you. My family and I keep them busy & entertained. Some of my clients even call my home Camp Anacelia 😂. The atmosphere in my house is very relaxed. Everyone is welcome on the furniture & most of our guest pups sleep on our beds or in one of several dog beds we have throughout the house. Their choice! Have a pup with special needs or need medications administered? No problem! From allergy meds to insulin to diapers, I have years of experience. I also keep puppy pads readily available for our untrained guests. When the weather is good, I like to take the dogs on day trips to parks, events, markets, etc. Let me know if your dog is not a fan of car rides. Communication is key! Tell me what your needs are and we can decide together, if I'm the right sitter for your family. Thank you & I look forward to meeting you & your pup! I work outside of the home during the weekday, but your pups will never be alone as my husband is self employed and loves spending time with them. I like to spend 1 on 1 time with the pups and let them decide if they want to play together or just want to nap on my lap. Meal times are also done on a solo basis to eliminate any chance of mishaps and to decrease stress.
“So glad we found Juliette to cat sit our shy rescue Samantha! It was evident how much Juliette loves cats! It gave us peace of mind to know Samantha was in good hands while we were away and we appreciated the photos!”

“Elizabeth was great. First visit with my fur family of a dog and 3 cats. Liz was timely and sent pics, which I always look forward to. She was conscientious and flexible when my old dog didn't want to cooperate. Appreciate the extra effort. Will definitely use Liz again.”

“Suzanne exceeded every expectation when caring for our dog. She treats our girl just like her own dog and goes out of her way to make sure that Harper’s needs are met and she is cared for as if she were her own dog! We highly recommend Suzanne to assist in any pet care needs you may have!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Perkasie
Alex was absolutely wonderful with both of our dogs! She took her time getting to know our little Noelle, who can be very nervous and scared around new people, and was so patient and gentle while earning her trust. She was equally great with Geralt, our big, lovable goofball, and had no trouble handling his size and energy. It’s not always easy to find someone who can adjust so naturally to two dogs with completely different personalities, but Alex did it with ease. We felt completely comfortable leaving them in her care and would absolutely recommend her!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
