“We had originally planned a trip in September, but when we both got sick, we had to cancel our booking with Ian. He was so understanding and gracious. He even dropped off a pretty little flowering plant at our house with a Get Well card. We rebooked our trip in October. Ian took good care of our two cats. He made sure all their physical needs were met, but he also played with them and met their emotional needs. I hated to leave our cats for as long as we did, but I felt better knowing that Ian was there for them. I will definitely ask Ian to watch our cats again the next time we go traveling. It's clear that they like him.”

About: Hi! I’ve grown up with pets all my life. Now that I’m an adult I have 5 cats and a dog. I’ve fostered (and foster failed) both cats and dogs over the years. I watch my friend’s pets here and at their homes as well. At my house I have a spare room that can be your animal’s home away from home if they need their own secluded space. I also have a fenced in yard with friendly neighbors who are also animal lovers. Come in the summer and I’ll send you home with some fresh veggies from my garden too! I get up early for work and make sure to leave plenty of time to feed, clean litter boxes and make sure all my four legged babies are ready for the day. Once home in the afternoon and after I lay down on the couch they all come to find me for love and to lay on me for all the pets. At night all are welcome to sleep with me, on the couch or wherever they are the most comfortable. I home almost all day over the weekends except for the morning time on Sundays. I have a fenced in yard so any dogs are able to go outside whenever they need to to play, pee or lay in the sun. I watch my neighbor’s dogs as needed and will go over every 4 or so hours to let them out over the weekends. During the week I let them out before I go to work and then as soon as I come home. I then let them out again before bed around 8pm. I also am able to let them out as needed when they are in a pinch and can’t get home in time. My cats and yours if they come for a stay will have water and toys available to them at all times. They will be fed twice a day with a snack of crunchies before bed. If you needed me to come to your house to take care of your cats and/or dogs, I would be able to come early in the morning, after work and before bed during the week and every 4-6 hours during the weekend. While at your house I can take animals for a walk, play, give pets and love, brush or whatever else is needed. Of course I’d feed them and clean kitty litter boxes or whatever else your babies need. I am good with giving medicine to cats and dogs. I give daily medication to my dog and have had to give cats medicine in the past.
About: I’ve always loved being around animals and understand that every pet has its own personality and needs. I’m patient, dependable, and treat every dog, cat, or other pet as if they were my own. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, administering basic medications, or simply giving extra attention to senior pets, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I also pay close attention to routines and instructions so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away. My goal is to provide loving, reliable care that keeps pets happy and stress-free. Im currently working part time right now so I have a lot of extra free time on my hand & would love to take care of all animals during my free time Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for them in my home or yours, I’ll follow their usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel relaxed and secure. I’ll make sure they always have fresh food and water, plenty of attention, exercise if needed, and a clean environment. I’ll also keep doors, gates, and leashes secure, pay close attention during walks and playtime, and provide regular updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I treat every pet with the same care, patience, and respect that I would give my own.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was just 6 years old—whether it was my own pup or a neighbor’s. That early experience taught me patience, responsibility, and how to understand different personalities in dogs. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience with puppies who need consistency and training, as well as senior dogs who need a little extra gentleness and care. I treat every dog like they’re my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and happy every time we’re together. As a full-time student, I’ve built my schedule to make plenty of room for pet care. I’m available on weekdays after 5 PM, which is perfect for evening walks or playtime. Fridays I’m completely free in both the morning and evening, and I’m totally available on weekends. This flexibility allows me to give your pets the time, energy, and attention they deserve—whether it’s a long walk, extra cuddles, or simply keeping them company. Whether I’m in my home or yours, your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take time to understand each dog’s unique needs, routines, and personality so they feel secure and cared for. I always double-check doors, leashes, and gates to ensure pets stay safe. You can trust that I’ll treat your pet with the same care and respect as I do my own.
“Kevin is great! He took care of our two dogs over a holiday and was right on time, always left an update, and the dogs seem to be happy! I would recommend Kevin to take care of anybody’s pets.”

About: I have taken care of all my families pets since I was young. This has included dogs, cats, chickens, turtles, and guinea pigs. I have large animal experience as I am an Animal Science major at Delaware Valley University. I am currently available anytime Sunday-Tuesday and any time before 6pm on Wednesday. I have a car and a local park I enjoy walking if you’d prefer your furry friend to go on long walks! I will have more availability after August once I complete my internship. I have reliable transportation and a flexible schedule to accommodate your pets needs. I have a friendly Shih Tzu X Bichon Frise mix who would love to hang with your dog on walks if allowed!
“Love Delaney’s heart for our two fur babies! She was prompt, thorough, and patient when walking Bailey and receiving Dabby cat’s kisses. Can’t thank her enough for being there for them on so such short notice!! Will definitely be calling upon her again.”

About: I had a dog as a child. I have had dogs for over 35 years. They are great company and a great addition to any family. I am retired. My time would be totally devoted to spending time with your pet(s). I look forward to giving you the comfort that your pets are well-cared for while you are not home. My pets at home are pretty spoiled. They are not crated and we play inside and outside. Whatever the owners require is what I will do. Unfortunately, my most recent dog died of cancer. I miss her; but look forward to taking good care of other people’s pets.
“Coleen has been amazing with our one year old Aussie! She is extremely dependable, kind, and always so responsive. You can tell she is a huge dog lover from the first time you meet her! We are so happy we found a great dog walker who truly cares about our pup’s wellbeing.”

“Lisa is so professional and is amazing to my fur babies! She comes during the day to let my puppy out and always sends me picture updates of how the visit is going. She is extremely reliable and I would recommend her to anyone! I'm so thankful for all of the times she has come to my home, and it's so relieving to know that you have someone that you can trust to take care of your pets when you're not around. Would give greater than 5 stars if I could!”
“We cannot thank Evelina enough she took amazing care of our incredibly anxious dog and our cat as well. She provided wonderful care photos and reports during our time away from them .”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was young. I currently have two dogs of my own: a Yorkie and a French Bulldog. I love taking care of dogs! I currently have some extra time on my hands because I’m working a part-time job. I love taking care of animals, so if it works with my schedule, I’ll definitely do it! I have a fenced-in yard where I keep two dogs. Since I live on the first floor of a duplex, I make sure to keep my house very clean and tidy.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Perkasie
Alex was absolutely wonderful with both of our dogs! She took her time getting to know our little Noelle, who can be very nervous and scared around new people, and was so patient and gentle while earning her trust. She was equally great with Geralt, our big, lovable goofball, and had no trouble handling his size and energy. It’s not always easy to find someone who can adjust so naturally to two dogs with completely different personalities, but Alex did it with ease. We felt completely comfortable leaving them in her care and would absolutely recommend her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
