During his stay, Olive sent daily updates and a ton of pictures showing all the fun things Murphy was doing while I was gone...Movie night with the kids, he played Easter Bunny dress-up, he sat for a portrait, tried out different beds until he found the one that was 'just right', lots of walks and cuddle time. He got lots of love and attention and I knew he was being well cared for. That eased my mind, and if you know me, that's a pretty hard task. As happens all too frequently with elderly dogs, my Murphy fell ill while I was across the country on vacation. He came down with Vestibular Syndrome which although not critical is pretty scary to experience in an animal. Olive was calm and caring and walked me through everything so that I knew exactly what was happening and then worked with me to get him to the emergency vet. She got him there and made sure he was taken care of and communicated with me thru the entire process. I can't tell you how invaluable a caring, knowledgeable, and CALM pet sitter is during a crisis. I would have Olive sit for Murphy any time and I certainly recommend her to anyone else. Thanks Olive!”

About: I have over 10 years of experience with my high-energy husky and 2 years raising a large-breed puppy, so I understand the exercise, structure, and patience that dogs need. I also have 6 months of cat ownership experience and know how to balance care for both dogs and cats. For over 4 years, I’ve provided dog sitting for friends and family. I have experience with all types of pets—from active and fussy to shy and nervous—and can offer the calm, dependable care they need to feel safe. I’m reliable, punctual, and thorough. My goal is always to make pets feel loved and owners feel at ease, knowing their animals are cared for like my own. I’m self-employed and work from home, so I’m extremely attentive to pets throughout the day. As a homebody, I rarely leave for long stretches—if I run errands or go out, pets are never alone for more than a couple of hours. My husband is also home and happy to help, so there’s always someone available if needed. I’m flexible and will keep your pets on the same routine they’re used to, giving them consistency and comfort while you're away. We have a half-acre fenced yard (4 feet high) where dogs can enjoy supervised outdoor time. Pets are always watched closely while outside to ensure safety. Our cats are kept separately from visiting dogs, so there’s no need to worry about interactions unless your pet is already comfortable with cats. Your dog will have company from our two friendly dogs, but if they prefer more personal space, we have an addition/in-law suite where they can relax and decompress with just my company. I can accommodate crate-trained or non-crated dogs, depending on what’s best for their routine. In our home, dogs are treated like family—they’re welcome on furniture and beds, so they feel comfortable and cared for.
