About: Since childhood I have been around dogs and have developed a passion for caring for and bonding with them. I have raised two dogs of my own from puppy-hood, one of whom is now a senior dog who requires a little extra care. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes and when I am pet-sitting, I treat them with the same attention and care as if they were my own. I have a passion for bonding with animals and making them feel seen and comfortable. I have experience administering medicine and have mitigated many situations with potentially aggressive dogs. My schedule is very flexible, allowing me to accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend visits. Because I volunteer part-time, I'm able to adjust my schedule around your pet's routine whenever possible. Whether that means multiple potty breaks, long walks, playtime, medication, or overnight house sitting, my goal is to keep their day as normal as possible while you're away. For house sitting, I can often spend the majority of the day with your pet if that's something they'd benefit from. If I'll need to step away, I'll always communicate that with you beforehand so there are no surprises. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. Before every booking, I take time to learn their normal schedule, favorite activities, medications, feeding routine, and anything else that helps them feel comfortable while you're away. I'm especially patient with shy or nervous pets and understand that some animals need a little extra time to warm up to someone new. I never rush interactions and always let pets build trust at their own pace. During walks and visits, I'm careful about securely attaching leashes before opening doors, checking gates, and paying close attention to my surroundings. In your home, I'll treat your space with the same respect I'd want someone to show mine, following your instructions carefully and making sure everything is secure before I leave. You'll also receive regular updates and plenty of photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

For more active dogs, I'm happy to take them on short walks during my visit to give them extra exercise and mental stimulation. Some days they might want to play fetch, other days they just want someone to sit with them. I always make sure they have fresh water, food if needed, and that they seem comfortable and content before I leave. I provide updates to pet parents so they know how their furry family member is doing, including any highlights from our time together.

About: I've been around dogs intermittently, ranging from small to large, lazy to active, and administered medicine to elderly dogs as well. I have a very open availability, I'm only away for ~10hrs spread out between two days during the weekdays. I can pop for however long or stay for a couple of hours! Whatever the pet needs I can provide. I keep a watchful, attentive eye on the pets I care for. I give them my full attention when playing with them, and whenever they ask for attention. She also followed the various instructions for my house and was communicative when any issues arose. She was very in tune with my dog’s behavioral cues and understood when to push and when to leave her alone. She was willing to hand feed my dog to get her to start eating and to try various tricks to entice her to go on a walk. About: I worked at a doggy daycare for 3 years and have worked with dogs from energetic puppies to older dogs that need more care and other medications. I’ve also been a dog and cat sitter for my neighbors. I am currently a junior in college so my schedule can be busy but I can usually make room every few hours in between and after classes I also work a couple nights a week but anywhere in between I’m pretty flexible. I cannot house any dogs in my home overnight, but if needed I can have them over during the day! I can give regular potty breaks and necessary walks when needed. Since I am a student full time I cannot travel further the 20-30 minutes during the week and up to an hour on weekends.
