About: As a long time dog owner and foster for multiple rescue organizations, I have experience with dogs of all temperaments and energy levels. Do you have a high energy dog? I'm a runner and would love to take your dog on a run! If your dog is more of a couch potato, we can lounge on the couch or outside in the sun instead. I am also experienced with special needs dogs of many kinds, including those with mobility issues and visual impairment. Someone will be home with your pet at all times so your dog will never be alone. There will be plenty of time for play. We have a fully fenced in yard and safe neighborhood sidewalks for walking. Once the weather warms, the doggy pools will be out as well! Inside, your dog will be free to roam as they would in their own home. We also can gate off part of the house for dogs who enjoy some alone time. There are plenty of dog beds for napping and crates if your dog prefers that.

“Kathleen and her family are wonderful sitters! We were provided with plenty of photos and updates during the day and Benji and Frankie loved being there. We couldn't recommend Kathleen more for daycare and boarding services!”

Throughout the day, she kept me updated with tons of pictures, so I always knew how Tincy was doing. It was clear that she really took the time to understand his nervous personality and made sure he felt safe and comfortable the entire time. Her kindness truly made all the difference. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, and I would 100% trust her with Tincy again. Highly recommend!”

About: I've never not had a dog. As a child I assisted my parents with pet care for dogs and many other animals. Growing up at different times we had hamsters, rabbits, birds, etc., but we always had a dog. By my 20s I got my first cat and by my mid 20s I got married and adopted my first dog in my adult life (RIP Kora). I've cared for dogs from puppyhood and training through to senior and end of life care. In my 44 years I've run the gamut of dog care from feeding, bathing, medicines, fleas and tick care, walking, and even more unsavory things like dealing with skunk sprays. I'm a mom to four fur babies (2 dogs & 2 cats) as well as 2 human teenagers. And I'm a wife to my wonderful husband who is trained in the medical field. "A house is not a home without a dog" I'm a full-time homemaker and crafter. Unless I'm running a kid somewhere I'm home and available for your pup. Dogs will have access to the backyard to do their business, run around, and play. I have a decent sized fenced and secure yard for your dog to run around in. If I'm coming to your house, my own dogs will be attended to at home by my family. If you're coming to my house a meet and greet is required as my older dog can be curmudgeonly and is picky about which dogs she wants to get along with. We will know how she feels within the first 10 seconds of meeting. She is a 10 year old rescue mutt. I also have a 2 year old rescue male who is a big furry lovable ball of energy. Both of my dogs are altered and up to date on their shots. Dogs coming to my home must be cat friendly.

About: Devoted Dog Lover with a Lifetime of Experience About Me: Hello! I’m a lifelong dog enthusiast who’s had the joy of sharing my life with furry friends for as long as I can remember. Whether it’s energetic playtime, leisurely strolls, or just some cozy cuddle time, I’m here to make sure your dog feels happy, safe, and loved. Experience: Throughout my life, I’ve nurtured and cared for several dogs, each with their own special quirks and requirements. I’m experienced in handling a range of breeds, temperaments, and age groups. My recent 18-year journey with my senior dog has especially equipped me to understand the gentle care and patience needed for older pets. Services Offered: • Daily walks (with a keen sense for your dog’s preferred pace and distance) • Feeding and medication administration, if required • Regular updates and photos to assure you of your pet’s well-being • Lots of love, play, and attention • Experience in caring for senior dogs Closing Note: I’m excited to meet your furry family member and provide them with the same warmth and affection that’s been a cornerstone of my life. Your dog’s happiness and safety will always be my top priority! Pet care is an integral and cherished part of my daily routine. Since I’m retired, I have the flexibility and time to dedicate to the pets I care for. My days are structured around ensuring that the dogs in my care receive all the attention and activity they need. Morning: My day typically starts with a morning walk, which I find is a great way to help the dogs get some fresh air and exercise first thing in the day. It’s also a peaceful time for them to explore and enjoy the quieter hours. Midday: Throughout the day, I ensure they have plenty of playtime, whether it’s in the backyard or inside with toys. I’m always attentive to their need for interaction and mental stimulation. Afternoon: In the afternoon, we usually go for another walk. This is a longer one, where we can explore local parks or walking trails, allowing the dogs to experience new sights and smells. Evening: As the day winds down, I focus on quieter activities like cuddling or gentle play, ensuring the dogs are calm and relaxed. Evening is also the time for dinner and any needed medications. Night: Before bedtime, there’s a short walk or a quick backyard visit, so the dogs are comfortable through the night. Throughout the day, I’m attentive to the dogs’ needs for food, water, and bathroom breaks. I also ensure they have a comfortable and safe space to rest. Being home most of the day allows me to provide constant companionship and supervision, ensuring that the dogs in my care are not just looked after, but also loved and cherished. Caring for pets, whether in my home or in a client’s home, is done with utmost attention to their comfort, safety, and happiness. My approach is tailored to each pet’s individual needs and preferences, ensuring they feel loved and secure in their environment. In My Home: • Safe Environment: I ensure my home is pet-proofed, with no hazards and plenty of cozy, comfortable spots for them to rest. • Routine: I maintain a consistent routine for meals, walks, and playtime, which helps pets feel secure and settled. • Play and Exercise: I provide plenty of playtime and exercise, tailored to the pet’s energy level and health. • Affection: I believe in plenty of cuddles and affection to make them feel at home. • Supervision: Continuous supervision is provided, ensuring their safety at all times. Common to Both: • Health Monitoring: I keep a close eye on the pet’s health and behavior, promptly addressing any concerns. • Hydration and Nutrition: Ensuring regular access to fresh water and feeding them as per their dietary requirements. • Medication Administration: If needed, I am experienced in administering medications. My goal is to provide a loving, fun, and safe experience for pets, giving them the care and attention they would receive from their own families.
