About: I have had animals my entire life and currently have 5 dogs, 5 cats and a horse. My full time job is on a farm taking care of horses so I have the ability to administer fist aid and medications and am comfortable with all sizes and shapes of animals. Also have experience with goats and pigs. I currently work part time and travel some for work so my schedule is flexible and easy to work around. I have the ability to work evenings and weekends when needed. I will make sure to follow all the instructions given to me to properly care for your pet. I have extreme attention to detail and am able to recognize if there might be a problem with an animal because my job has been to have an awareness about how an animal is acting for the past 10 years. About: I know choosing someone to care for your dog isn’t just about finding someone who can fill a food bowl and take them outside—it’s about finding someone you can actually trust with a member of your family. I grew up with dogs and have several years of dog-sitting experience, so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, routines, ages, and energy levels. One of the biggest things I prioritize is keeping your dog’s routine as normal as possible while you’re away. If they’re used to a morning walk, a certain feeding schedule, playtime before bed, or even have their own little quirks and habits, I want to know about them! I’m happy to follow detailed instructions and tailor my visits to what your dog needs rather than treating every pet the same. I can help with walks, bathroom breaks, feeding and fresh water, playtime and exercise, basic medications, enrichment, and of course plenty of attention and cuddles. I’m also patient with dogs who are shy or need a little extra time to warm up, as well as energetic dogs who need more activity and engagement. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable while you’re away. I’m a big communicator and will keep you updated with pictures and messages so you never have to wonder how your dog is doing. I’m also flexible and understand that plans and pet-care needs can change. Pets have always been family to me, and when your dog is in my care, I want them to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and maybe even a little spoiled until you get home! I’m currently a student Monday through Thursday, but I have plenty of flexibility throughout the week to make sure your pets get the care and attention they need! During the week, I’m available for drop-in visits and walks from the early evening through nighttime, which is perfect for after-work walks, dinner visits, playtime, or bedtime check-ins. Friday through Sunday, my schedule is much more open, and I’m available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, and longer visits. My weekends allow me to be especially flexible with timing and work around your pet’s normal routine. I understand that every pet and household has a different schedule, so I’m always happy to communicate and find times that work best for you. I’ll also keep my Rover availability updated so you’ll know when I’m available! I’m definitely the type of sitter who wants to know all of your pet’s little quirks before you leave, where they like to sleep, their favorite toy, what time they expect dinner, their usual walking route, and even the things they’re not allowed to do (no matter how convincing they may be!). When I’m in your home, I want your pet’s day to feel as normal as possible. I’ll stick closely to their usual feeding, walking, bathroom, medication, and playtime routines while giving them the amount of attention they’re comfortable with. Some pets want a new best friend immediately, while others need their space, and I’m happy to let them set the pace. I’m also very mindful of the little things that keep pets safe. I always double-check doors and gates, make sure leashes and harnesses are secure before heading outside, keep an eye on what they may be getting into, and make sure they have fresh water and everything they need before I leave. I know you’re trusting me with both your pet and your home, and I don’t take that lightly. I’ll respect your space, clean up after your pet, and leave everything the way I found it. I’ll also keep you updated with pictures and messages, because as a pet owner myself, I know I’d want to see that my pet is happy and doing well while I’m away!

About: Raised an australian shepard pup and kept her occupied and also have dog sat, walked and had sleep overs with from huskies to shelter pups. Never met a dog I didn't like. I have a very open schedule for frequent walk and stop ins. Setting pups up for the night and making sure they are tired from every walk. I always ask what their typical routine is to mimic it in the dogs safe space and am focused on replicating it as well as I can.

About: I have been caring for animals ever since I was little. As a child I would gush over animal fact books and spent my days watching animal planet! I have a true love for animals of all kind and spent many years caring for them. Not only did I have my fair share of a large variety of pets myself but I have cared for them in professional settings. I have worked in vet care and currently for PetSmart as well as working towards getting my herpetology license! I plan on also getting some training at my store to begin dog training! My weekends are free for house sitting and weekdays for watching/walking in the mornings while you may be at work. I currently still live at home so other than small animals I am unable to offer boarding. As for walking and house sitting, I am completely drug free as well as smoke/alcohol free. I will happily be able to bring by my own food/snacks/drinks and possibly pet treats. I will clean after myself and never make a mess in your home. I follow instructions well. Animal care is something I genuinely love, and I’ve always been fascinated by animal behavior, body language, cognition, and the little ways animals communicate with us. When a pet stays with me, I want them to feel like they’re staying with someone who actually gets animals. I pay close attention to their personality, routines, body language, and comfort level rather than treating every pet the same. Some animals want to play constantly, some need time to warm up, and some are perfectly happy doing their own thing while I quietly keep an eye on them. I’m happy to meet them where they are. I also have experience with special-needs animals, which is something I genuinely adore. I’m comfortable adapting care around mobility limitations, anxiety, unusual behaviors, or extra supervision, and I have a lot of patience for animals who need a little more understanding. My own special-needs cat, Rue, is my first special-needs baby of my own, and caring for her has made me even more passionate about learning how to make an animal’s environment work for them. I love giving pets enrichment, playtime, affection, and opportunities to explore, but I also pay attention to the quieter things: changes in appetite, energy, bathroom habits, behavior, or anything else that seems different from their normal. Animals can’t tell us when something feels wrong, so I believe one of the most important parts of pet care is simply paying attention. Basically, my goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, understood, and spoiled in all the appropriate ways while they’re with me!
