“I checked on our kitties every day through our Ring Camera, and they looked as content as can be. Ms. Olivia provided photos and video every day; I greatly appreciate her professionalism and attention to instruction; I'd certainly hire again 😺”

“Christina was such a blessing to us! She took the BEST care of our kitties while we were away!! We got the sweetest pictures of them and knew that they were getting some much needed attention from Christina while we were gone. We will definitely be requesting her on our next trip! Thank you so much, Christina!”

“Lili took care of our 3 cats while we went away for our honeymoon. She came 2 times a day to care for them. We couldnt have picked a better sitter! She went above and beyond and we didnt have to worry about our kitties while we were away. She was so responsive and went out of her way to get photos of all 3 cats. Even when they hid under the bed! Thank you Lili for everything!”

“Suzanne is absolutely WONDERFUL!!!! I loved having her sit for my dogs! She provides amazing notes and takes such good pictures. It felt like I was right there with her. She is so good at communicating. I can tell how much she loves animals. I will 100% continue to use Suzanne!”

“Rebecca cared for our three cats for about a week and a half, doing drop ins every other day. She was kind and communicative from start to finish, and went above and beyond to keep us and our kitties happy including lots of playtime, topping off food and water, and even watering a plant for us and bringing packages inside. Would book her again for future travel!”

About: I have had animals my entire life and currently have 5 dogs, 5 cats and a horse. My full time job is on a farm taking care of horses so I have the ability to administer fist aid and medications and am comfortable with all sizes and shapes of animals. Also have experience with goats and pigs. I currently work part time and travel some for work so my schedule is flexible and easy to work around. I have the ability to work evenings and weekends when needed. I will make sure to follow all the instructions given to me to properly care for your pet. I have extreme attention to detail and am able to recognize if there might be a problem with an animal because my job has been to have an awareness about how an animal is acting for the past 10 years. I also have extensive experience with my own pets and different issues they have had through my life.
“Mary took great care of my dog and 2 cats while I was on vacation! She updated me each time she dropped by and included pictures of my happy pets. I will be hiring her to take care of my pets again! Highly recommend.”

“We are Blessed to have Kristy care for our 16 year old cat/fur baby, Luna. We are so happy to have her watch Luna because she’s not only a beautiful person inside & outside, but she’s loving, trustworthy & conscientious! Luna takes a day to get used to anything new. But she loves Kristy & when we arrive back home from our travels, Luna looks better than when we left! She walks around for a few days looking for something. I swear she’s wondering where her friend, Kristy is? Everything is always clean and she even came twice per day, on the last few days. She sends me the best pictures of our LuLu! I hope she will continue bless us with her loving care for our cat”

“Jaden did an amazing job with our pets sending updates with pictures daily. She responded to a late notice request very quickly and was able to watch the pups for us, we are so grateful for her help and care and hope she can help us out again in the future!”

“Sharon always does a wonderful job and will go the extra mile of needed. She gives my diabetic dog her insulin shots and even runs to the vet too pick up additional meds if needed. So grateful for her help with my pets!”

“I needed a last minute care for my Kendi and she was quick to respond. Communication is excellent and Kendi seemed relaxed and didn't have any stomach issues under Rebecca's care which rarely happens if I'm not watching her. Will definitely use Rebecca again!”

“I highly recommend Krysta! She calmed a 5 yo 115 lb goldendoodle who had never been left in our home alone…even thought of turning on the television for her. Krysta followed all instructions, watered plants, rolled out trash cans & sent a lot of pics. We would definitely book with her again.”

About: Whitney Amanda but I go by Mandy!I am new to rover and looking to grow experience. My services are walks ( or even runs as I enjoy running!) and drop in visits. Since I work at the hospital during the day, I would drop in early in the morning, lunch break and/or evening visits. I’ve had pets of my own + I use to work in a pet care and spa for a bit. I would love too help you get great care for your fur babies!! I am currently full time at a hospital but looking to help with evening or overnight care. However, feel free to reach out as I do have off days here and there. Communication is the best form of care. You let me know what your pet needs and I am there! I am happy to provide a caring and nurturing environment for your pet.
About: Raised an australian shepard pup and kept her occupied and also have dog sat, walked and had sleep overs with from huskies to shelter pups. Never met a dog I didn't like. I have a very open schedule for frequent walk and stop ins. Setting pups up for the night and making sure they are tired from every walk. I always ask what their typical routine is to mimic it in the dogs safe space and am focused on replicating it as well as I can.
About: Hey there! My name is Gabby and live out in McGregor Tx. Just down the highway from Woodway. My daycare services are perfect for dogs that are not great in a large dog setting and need more personal one to one setting in which they can relax and enjoy their day away from their owners without all the pressure and stress of a multi dog play setting. I have a private backyard with access to long country walks and private walking trails. You can expect your dog to receive a lunch, walk, play time and tons of cuddles upon every stay. Boarders recieve Breakfast and Dinner (owner provided) as well as a snack. I offer regular dog walks and drop ins for the dogs unable to come over personally or who may not be the best in a group. Doggy walks will always be a minimum mile (unless specified otherwise by the owner) and Drop-ins will include poop cleanups, play time and light housework if desired. I can also offer some quick obedience lessons if desired which just includes the basic doggy mind push-ups, sit, down, stay, come repeated a few times. I use positive reinforcement with treats and verbal cues. Please let me know if your dog has any medical requirements, a special diet or any allergies. I'm able to administer any medications as needed. Also am able to do basic grooming (nails, bathing, genital area clean up, matts). As well as light housework (dishes, laundry, ect.) I'm currently a full time pet mama so my days are spent caring for my own little flock of animals. I currently have my own dog I've trained to be a successful hunting dog as well as fancy chickens that live in the coop in the back. I also have a wide variety of tanked pets including a Leopard Gecko, Texas Rat Snake, Hamster and Betta fish so exotic pet care is also something I can provide for any herp and aquarium owners out there thinking about how they could manage a vacation. I wake up around 5am everyday to walk my Terrier cross and let him stretch his legs first thing. We walk at least a mile before I come home and check on my Chickens, Leopard Gecko, Hamster and Snake. I feed and clean water dishes. Then go and clean the fish tank and use the water to water the garden.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of September 2026, there are 316 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Moody. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Moody. On Rover:

- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
