“We had the BEST experience with Amanda! She was able to help us out last minute, which was such a lifesaver, and took incredible care of our dogs while we were away. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands! If you’re looking for someone trustworthy who does an amazing job I highly recommend Amanda!”

“Christina is awesome! She does a great job taking care of our cat and does other little things like bringing in the mail. She’s dependable, trustworthy and our cat loves her too! 😊”

“Mallory has gone above and beyond for my puppies. She is always amazing with them and gives them all the attention they ask for. She makes sure to check in and let me know how they’re doing and provides me pictures. We love having her and look forward to continue our relationship with her and our fur babies! We lost our Stella girl and she reached out to us. We truly appreciate her! Mateo loves seeing her anytime she takes care of him.”

“Tony was awesome with my two babies. He was very attentive to their needs( (eating, potty breaks and walks!!!!) Thank you Tony for playing tug-a-war and with the ball with my babies. They looked very happy/tired in pictures 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗”

About: I've been around all kinds of dogs since I was a baby, and have been helping take care of dogs since I was 8 years old. I work part-time, and am available any time after 3pm. On the days I'm not working, I will be available for the full day. my schedule changes every week, but usually only work 3 or 4 days a week. I will not care for pets in my own home, as my dog does not do well with unfamiliar animals. I am, however, happy to pet-sit as long as I am given clear instructions on how to care for your pets.
About: I have been caring for animals ever since I was little. As a child I would gush over animal fact books and spent my days watching animal planet! I have a true love for animals of all kind and spent many years caring for them. Not only did I have my fair share of a large variety of pets myself but I have cared for them in professional settings. I have worked in vet care and currently for PetSmart as well as working towards getting my herpetology license! I plan on also getting some training at my store to begin dog training! I hope I interest you and your pet and I promise to bring along treats with me to meet your special loved one! Be it fluffy, spiny, or feathery! My weekends are free for house sitting and weekdays for watching/walking in the mornings while you may be at work. I currently still live at home so other than small animals I am unable to offer boarding. As for walking and house sitting, I am completely drug free as well as smoke/alcohol free. I will happily be able to bring by my own food/snacks/drinks and possibly pet treats. I will clean after myself and never make a mess in your home. I follow instructions well. I am currently doing Rover full time and so I will have day round availability! That way I can insure the Saftey and correct care for your pet and leave them happy and healthy! Sadly, I have a cat and so not much can be said about her care that isn’t already well known. However, when caring for your pet, I always try to keep a 4 feet distance from myself and the dog at all times in case of unexpected pulling or emergency. I will ask you your babies allergies to insure the treats I bring along with me won’t mess up those sensitive tummies! I also ALWAYS pick up after the pets I watch.
About: I have had animals my entire life and currently have 5 dogs, 5 cats and a horse. My full time job is on a farm taking care of horses so I have the ability to administer fist aid and medications and am comfortable with all sizes and shapes of animals. Also have experience with goats and pigs. I currently work part time and travel some for work so my schedule is flexible and easy to work around. I have the ability to work evenings and weekends when needed. I will make sure to follow all the instructions given to me to properly care for your pet. I have extreme attention to detail and am able to recognize if there might be a problem with an animal because my job has been to have an awareness about how an animal is acting for the past 10 years. I also have extensive experience with my own pets and different issues they have had through my life.
About: I am Deaf & love animals. We have 4 pets. 2 dogs (Faye & Bella - sweet girls!), & 2 cats (Mister & Garfield - our boys!) I am willing to house sit any animals of any sizes/kind. I also know how to give dogs oral medications and such. I am willing to travel about 50 miles from my house to the location for services. Check out the calendar for my availability. Thank you for looking at my profile. If you have any questions, please contact me at anytime! Available anytime but would like to know ahead of time so I can accommodate with my schedule since I work from home running 3 businesses. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats that are freely roaming around my house. If necessary, I can come to your place if you’re more comfortable with that.

“Sara is absolutely the best! She goes above & beyond to provide the best care for our fur babies! She keeps us updated with her visit reports and pictures of our babies. Our babies love having Sara take care of them!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals on my family’s farm over the past 8 years. I've helped take care of dogs, cats, horses, goats, and cows, which has taught me a strong sense of responsibility, patience, and how to handle animals with different needs and temperaments. As a college student home for the summer, I fit pet care into my daily routine by planning around my work schedule and training. I work as a lifeguard in Temple and I'm a college athlete so I must get my workout in each day. I make time for feeding, walking, or checking in on pets, depending on what's needed. My schedule is flexible in the summer months. I ensure they have a clean, safe, and comfortable environment, with fresh water, proper feeding schedules, and plenty of love and attention. I follow any specific instructions provided by the owner, including medication, dietary needs, or favorite toys and activities. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or simply offering companionship, I prioritize each pet’s well-being as if they were my own.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life, mostly my own and some family friends’ when they go on vacation. I’ve mostly dealt with smaller dogs but I have no problem with larger dogs. I currently own two dogs and one is a senior dog so he requires a little more attention. I can do basic care such as feeding and going for walks but I can also bathe if necessary. I currently work part-time and am in school for my bachelor’s degree. I’m taking a few summer courses but they are online so they don’t require too much of my time. My work schedule is relatively flexible as long as I have some time to work things out. I’ve done feeding and walks, whether it be for the restroom or just to get some exercise in. I live in a house with a large fenced backyard so my dogs are able to freely roam so they don’t like to go on walks much but we do take them out from time to time. I also play outside with them on a daily basis since they enjoy that. I usually bathe and groom my own dogs as well as some other dogs people have asked me to do.
“This is the second time we have used Maricella. Good communication. Great care for our cats and fish. Can tell she really cares about them. Sends a lot of pictures. We’ll definitely use her again!”

“Olivia was fantabulous!! I was nervous about using a service to take care of my big old guy. I have always had family and friends available to take care of my fur babies until now. After meeting Olivia, I was able to rid my anxiety. She sent lots of pics. She loved on my fur baby at each of the visits she made while I was out of town. She sent updates and even gave him his meds. I will definitely be asking her to pet sit again.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
