“Hannah was great . She made sure to ask if it was ok if her boyfriend came , and if our dog was ok with males prior to the job. Our dog is on medication and she followed the prescription, and was even aware enough to let me know she only had a few days left of pills and asked if we needed her to refill them. She sent us pictures and videos of Becca while we were gone . Text us out of concern when Becca wasn’t eating her dry dog food (this is normal, she prefers wet food -lol) . Hannah was prompt in replying to my text . Cared for out home as well. We will definitely be using Hannah again ! Thanks Hannah for being awesome !”

“Katelin was awesome! I had multiple travel changes and she was able to take care of my pets with out hesitation. I received multiple pictures of them having fun the whole time I was gone. About: I have had dogs in my life for all of my life and love being around them. Having a dog of my own has really helped me see the love I have for caring for pets. I am a college student home for the summer and am available anytime! I do have some days I am out of town but other than that I am free all summer long. I have a fenced yard with plenty of space and 3 friendly dogs. I can watch pets at my house or at yours, whichever makes you feel more comfortable!

“Kim is amazing! This was our first time leaving our baby for multiple nights and I was nervous to say the least. Kim made a point to come visit our home prior to our vacation and interacted with Piglet while taking thorough notes throughout the tour of our house. She asked excellent and insightful questions that helped put my mind at ease. During her actual stay in our home, Kim checked in frequently and provided us delightful photos of Piglet throughout our trip which eased any concerns I had. It was apparent Miss Piglet was enjoying her time with Kim! We came home to a thriving puppy and our house in order. We look forward to booking Kim again!”

“Jamie and our dog got along from the first meet. While we were gone she kept us updated about our cat and dog. She is a great communicator and we felt good about leaving our pets and house in her care. I would definitely want her next time.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets But they all know that I won’t have another animal come to my house The weekly routine would be to go for a walk/ run on the morning before it gets hot to help the dogs not feel like they can’t play outside How I care for a pet when there parents are gone is to make sure they get lots of love and making sure they don’t look so sad and make them run

About: I have taken care of mini types of animals and will be willing too learn how to take care of your if I don’t know. I have four horses and I also have three dogs that have to have a job every day so they stay happy and don’t hurt themselves. I take care of my pets by feeding morning and night also checking water and looking over them making sure they didn’t get hurt when I was gone I would do the same for a client pet.

Over 19 pet parents in Pendleton have booked house sitting
Pendleton pet parents share their Rover experiences
Baylee was available to care for my 2 doggies after another pet sitter backed out last minute, and it was either find a new sitter in less than 24hrs or cancel the trip; so thankful she was able to cover it! Baylee sent pics, our girls were happy and well-fed when we got home, and the house was in good shape (Baylee did six 1.5hr drop-ins over 3 days time). We were very happy with Baylee’s service! Our only complaint likely doesn’t have anything to do with Baylee - make sure you’re very clear on cost before securing a booking. Rover doesn’t prompt you to pay the bill before services begin, which meant Baylee had to gently remind us to pay. So an hour before we were set to leave, we found out the total was $520 for six 1.5hr drop ins ($86 per drop-in, around $60/hr) and when I asked for clarification on the bill, Baylee mentioned the total she would receive was less than that - so Rover is adding in some pretty hefty fees. If you don’t see the bill until the last minute, you’re stuck paying it or cancelling your plans! But again, nothing Baylee did wrong. Just a fair warning to check the total right away and make sure you’re comfortable paying the rover fees! It’s more expensive than sitters’ listed fees (Rovers fault, not sitters). We would have Baylee watch the pups again though, she was wonderful!
